I was extremely upset with the lack of service I received today. I picked up my car today after the service center was closed. In a showroom full of salesmen, not a single one was willing to help me install my two car seats. I had never installed car seats on my own before and was told “do the best you can and make an appointment to come back later to have them checked”. I had to leave my 11 month old and 4 year old unattended in the waiting room while I went outside in the freezing cold to move my car seats from the loaner car back to my own vehicle. While none of those more than half a dozen men may have been trained in installing car seats, I’m sure even one could have been a big help to me in figuring out how to put them in my car instead of leaving me to struggle through the installation while my kids were left on their own. Simply put, I was shocked by this lack of service!
Best Subaru Dealership in the entire DC Metropolitan Area! After working with our fantastic salesman Kan Zhou, we ended up getting our 2012 Forester XT Touring 6 weeks faster then anticipated. We made a deposit for a factory order since we wanted a specific color and model, but was dreading the long wait. After the second week, Kan found us the exact car we had ordered and gave us it at a even better deal. I don’t think you can find a better salesman and managers at any dealership around here.
Loving my new Pearl White Forester!!!!
We had decided on purchasing a Subaru Forester after looking at other small SUVs. As a former long time Saab owner, I was aware of the “different” philosophy of what the Subaru product line represents, plus in the mid-2000s there was the Saabuaru 9-2X. With Subaru producing only All-Wheel Drive vehicles for decades, they definitely have perfected this mode. Couple this with the high safety ratings and the Green attitude, it was just a case of finding the right dealer.
I had read our salesperson’s name, Hossein Zahedi, on a different dealer rating service and walked in one Saturday in search of him. We happen to be greeted by Hossein and began the process. It was the end of the 2010 model year and I was aware that there would be a new engine offered for 2011 in the Forester. We drove two 2010’s, a turbo and non-turbo, for comparison. We definitely knew that it would be a non-turbo Forester but I did want to drive a 2011 for comparison. I asked Hossein to contact us when they received one. He thanked us for stopping and said that he would. There was no pressure to buy a 2010 in stock!
Over the next few weeks the 2011 brochure was released and Hossein mailed one to us. He did keep in touch letting us know the timeframe for the delivery of the 2011s. Searching on the dealer website, I found that a few were in-transit by the beginning of November 2010. There was a new trim package that we wanted to consider as well. Hossein contacted us and we made arrangements to meet him. We drove the 2011 and decided on the 2.5X Forester Limited. The chosen vehicle was at their Gaithersburg store and it was driven down while we completed the paperwork. An additional dealer installed option needed to be installed so we actually took delivery a week later. Through this whole process, Hossein was in touch with us with updates. The delivery was one of the best with Hossein explaining all of the controls. Two months later and we are very pleased with our dealer and our decision. In fact, I am looking at purchasing another Subaru soon to replace my current Swedish AWD. The bottom line was that we paid only the 2011 increase over the end of year 2010 price!
