i got into an accident a few months back and had to take my car in for repair at their body shop. inside also sits a geico rep and a rep from enterprise car rental. They basically FU**ED my car up. I went back 3 times!!! Yes 3 times. And the last time i went back some kid delivers my car and tried to explain why they kept messing up. Basically now im driving around in a car that only had a door issue to my ENTIRE driver side all gunked up with wax in the door jams and hologram swirls from my front hood to the back of car. My car was sent in just to fix a door. Simple 1 door repair turned into a nightmare, to make things worst when i emailed the geico rep at the location he never responded. And when i called they said to just bring it back. Now anybody in their right mind wouldnt take a car back for the 4th time?!! Just unbelievable i can keep going but whatver stay away from this place!!! Take the extra time and go to DCH Honda. theyll get the job right the first time. Lesson learned i will never go back to this sh*t box of a “repair” shop. i can buy a buffer and wax from walmart and do a better job than what these fools did. Now i have to pay 200 dollars for a detail after i already paid 500 detuctable and brought the car back 3 times!!! What a joke, the only real guy in the whole place was the enterprise car rental dude. Any positive feedback for this place is gonna be from a friend or employee. My uncle owns DCH and the repair shop, i didn’t tell them this when i brought my car in because i didn’t think i was gonna get rammed in the a** by some hard ass looking mma fighter dude at the front deak and bullish friendly nonsense of the tenafly honda rep. They basically teamed reamed me. whatever loke i said lesson learned. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! Or youll be sorry, oh and btw the geico rep still have not replied to my email after 3 months!! but said ” hey email me anytime and ill take of it, we just wanna make you happy here at blah blah blah” bullocks rubbish BULLISH place!!!! And no i dont work for dch im only putting it out there because i just moved to this area and didnt want to drive over an hour to old bridge. Who would of known Tenafly Honda can take a simple door damage to the next level of thrashing your whole wip? There you go, good ol Tenafly Honda Repair shop HA!!!!!!!!!!! F’ing Joke.
The dealership was fine, but SAM CHOA is a very FRIENDLY LIAR HIDING BEHIND A HUMBLE SMILE. First, he told me, in writing, there was no extra fees not outlined in our discussions prior to visiting the dealer, and then let the manager deliver the bad new. He then played dumb when I confronted him about it. Next he said he would mail my certified used CRV floor mats, which are guaranteed and checked off on my Honda certified warranty, and still has not. He ignores my e-mails and phone calls. It has been over a month now and I still have not received the floor mats. I am contacting Honda now. Sam Chao is only delaying the inevitable, given the floor mats are in my legally binding certified used car contract. I am writing this in retaliation to him thinking that since he has my money, he does not need to honor his contract. I will continue to post this on every review site I can, guaranteeing he will loose sales, easily worth much more than some floor mats. D&C Honda is OK, but do not trust Sam Chao. He is a cheat, hiding behind a friendly smile and a humble laugh.
We came up to Bergen County NJ from Mercer County, and we originally bought the 2007 Odyssey Touring from Open Road Honda in Edision new. We had an issue with tranny studder, self cracked windshield, to DVD problem. We bought it to this dealer and they fixed non on Warranty except for the cracked winshield (reluctantly). Then they told me I had no issues with tranny stutter. Drove back home and there was the problem again. Then they fixed the DVD problem, there was that problem again. Then finally went back to ask about the PAX issue; they said they have “never heard” of the Settlement. They asked me to call Michelin, with no surprise, they were no help. Then, I bought the car back to my dealer in Edision and they corrected the tranny shutter issue. They told me that they don’t see any record of D&C fixing any of the issues I’ve mentioned. The guy who claimed to be “Rich” the sales manager was rude, and very condescending to say the least. I later called up the dealer anonymously and complained to the saled director. Then I asked about the cost to replace two PAX tires, they said $1400, and my dealer in Edision said $600… wow!!! that says it all!

This is the only car dealer in the world thinks you should pay the MSRP price!!!They like to play stupid games like how much do you think your trade is worth( like a million) and what would you like your payment to be (like we have a choice) and when showed another dealers price he told me to go and they will find a way to rip you off (yea ok MIKE) you should learn to speek to people like you need a sale not like you are doing me a favor. while I was waiting in the show room a salesgirl was walking around bouncing a tennis ball like a 6yo kid.
D&C Honda of Tenafly refused service after finding out that I didn’t buy the car from them. They said that my faulty GPS navi system can only be fixed by the dealership where I bought the car from. I was brushed off and left within 5 minutes of arriving to drop my car off for service. I later went to another local Honda dealer who simply said that the GPS navi system had to be replaced, and they did it for me with no questions asked. D&C Honda violated my 3-year warranty by turning me down and I’m sending a complaint to Honda Corporate about it.
Prices almost double of any other Honda dealership. I asked to speak to the service manager 2 or 3 times and he was never available nor did he ever return my phone calls.
Brought my car to another Honda dealership and they informed me that the work done by D&C was below par add that to being over charged and you have one angry customer.
This dealer is proves how people can be so mean. We bought a used car here from a dealer our family trusted for decades only to realized all along we were being mislead and overpriced. This time we returned the used car we bought only hours of having it for so many misleading reasons(price,apr rate etc.) We had given $8000 for a downpayment and they told us they will mail it out in a day, then 3-5 days then came a week then another 2 weeks more. now it has been 21 days still nothing. We badly need a car but we cant buy for they have our money so we had to walk our little ones to school in this cold winter weather and they all ended up getting sick. The dealer avoided us. No help, no update, no willingness to takecare of us..not even a simple apology. Now we have filed a complaint thats when the manager called and told us they had to clear the check first?- We then called our bank they advised us that we paid through tellers check good as cash and we have records that our personal check cleared the next day. Nearly 3 weeks and we are clueless! Then the dealer we dealt with that NEVER helped us at all now calls us just to be arrogantly sarcastic thanking us for posting our review on the web. Obviously he is the reason for this delay… he took this matter personally not professionally.
ALL THE 5 STAR REVIEWS YOU SEE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP ARE FRAUD REVIEWS MADE BY THIER STAFF TO BOOST THIER SALE. I made a review in google and the dealer called me sarcastically thanking me for posting the reviews next thing you know they put up daily positive review for themselves and they all flagged mine.

It’s a great staff and environment but unfortunately not everyone can be satisfied especially in the car business The dealerrater reviews are real believe it or not. The website keeps track of your IP address so there cant be multiple reviews from within the dealership. It happend years ago when dealerrater first became public but those fraudulant reviews were caught at other places and the stores were banned from the website. Alot of the customers use their actual names or emails as screen names to make them authentic. Im not sure of other stores but believe me those are real reviews cause I work there and am highly rated by my customers whom I send an email with a link for the review after every purchase when I’m involved as their salesperson.
