My Classic Toyota reviewI saw a sales ad for a Prius from a competitors web site. I misread the name of the dealership and went to Classic Toyota. I explained the price advertised on the interntet and believed it was from their store. They scoured their website and advised it was not their store. I explained it must be their competitor’s web site. Instead of showing me their competitor’s web site they showed me Carmax’s web site. I later came to learn Carmax charges almost sticker price for a Prius and they based their price off the Carmax web site. All they said about the competing Toyota store was that they checked their web site and there was no such price on that web site. For some reason I allowed them to sweet talk me, purchased the Prius at about $1,500 over the price the competing Toyota store was charging. When I got home and double checked the other web site and found out they had flat out lied to me, I went back and tried to null the deal as it was based on flat out lies, they pretty much said too bad so sad and even to a certain extent acknowledged they had lied to me. Classic Toyota has no scruples and unfortunately like most dealers will lie and cheat to make a sale.

My Classic Toyota review:mad:Classic Toyota/Scion – N Grrenbay Rd
I went to Classic Toyota – Waukegan IL today Dec 22 2009 & felt like I made a big mistake. Was looking for a used 2005,06 or 07 Toyota Camry. Met Jo as the sales person. As soon as I started the engine of the CAR & pressed the gas to check the emission, noise & engine under the hood, the sales guy Jo wasn’t too happy about it and turned the engine off as if he was hiding something or trying to avoid if we can figure out a problem. As soon as I told my budget, he said WE ARE DONE, banged the hood down & took the CAR away. Did not even say, that he can show us other cars or give us any options. Please DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY on Classic Toyota/Scion – N Grrenbay Rd, Waukegan IL. Highly cheap, ill mannered & pathetic customer service. Lucky I didn’t buy the CAR & got to know them early. Please spread the word & I will ensure no one from my group/network ever does business with them.
