(1) I have a 2008 Gmc Acadia. I first bought a set of floor mats from dunn for my suv. It took 3 weeks to get and still I did not get what I paid for.
(2) Needed Windsheld Wipers for it. They have none in stock.
(3) Needed a bulb for the rear hatch door and guess what? They have none. Told me it would cost $20.00 for the bulb but never offer to order it. What this boils down to is Service after the Sale. You get none.
If you want to deal with the Shifty Mr. Slick Throw a Catchphrase and Treat You Like an Idiot Dealer, then you no longer have to go to some random miniature used car dealer around the corner. You just go to Earl Dunn Pontiac in Madison, TN. Here is just one example of my experience…
– After a period of walking and checking the lot, I end up looking at a great deal on a truck..I am thinking….”Okay, a little progress.” BUT WAIT, When the salesman and I look under the hood, we notice a giant hole in the engine compartment. No AC Compressor….no big deal, right? Both the salesman and I check and sure enough, the truck has no AC. I decide to leave.
– He fetches the SALES MANAGER. I guess this is the ususal, “Lets see if we can get this guy to stay and buy routine” Seen it a million times… Problem is, I think this sales manager has done it so many times he thinks he is the pro or something. So what happens next?
– This cocky sales manager in his classic good guy plaid shirt comes out and won’t even stand on the pavement at an equal level to me.
– As he sorta talks to me, he hardly ever looks at me and just scans the lot….as if though i am wasting his time by even considering buying a vehicle when he has a kingdom of unsold vehicles to rule over. One of the smallest lots in town I might add….
– When I tell him the truck has no air, he very sharply replys, “Yes it does. It has air.” The salesman begins to debate with his sales manager that the truck actually does not have air. I notice the Sales manager give the salesman a look, and the salesman responds by going and starting the truck. An attempt to prove to me that the truck has air. Now I am done!
– I am VERY familiar with vehicles, and this idiot just lied to my face. He even rallied the salesman to support his lie. Of course the vehicle has air..you turn a dial-air flows in from the outside through little vents, BUT IT DOES NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING!!! I left.
To think that these people believe they are so above everyone else that they can even lie about AC or not even be on the level is disgusting. I guess I should have known it was not going to be good when the sales manager shook my hand with his weak shifty Mr. Slick Throw a Catchphrase and Treat You Like an Idiot Dealer Hand.
My advice…stay away…
Pros: Not enough to even mention
Cons: Just about everything
