Castle does not accept outside financing, however, when I told Ernie that I had preapproval for a lower rate, he indicated that it was NOT a problem. It most certainly was a problem. I had my banker on the phone with their finance manager…my banker is pretty sure they cannot force a customer to take their financing. After much assurance from Ernie and the team that I could simply pay off the loan immediately. Not the case as the bank took its sweet time “processing” my paper work while the interest racked up. I was also promised that they would take $100 off the price…that was NOT communicated to the person filling out the financial papers. She was a hot mess and I almost walked out after she had to start the paper worked over 2 x! But this was a car my daughter had her heart set on and she was with me. So when I pointed out that the $100 was not taken off…Ernie told me a check would be sent to me…you guessed it! No $100 check! I have emailed Ernie and no response! So I guess that once the sale is made, customer service goes out the window. I would NOT recommend Castle unless you want to finance through them.
I was Quoted a repair price by one technician and another technician charged me more then I, was quoted and 2 days later my car was having the same problem my car was not repaired still waiting to hear from the service manger
I bought a used Mazda 5 from them about a month ago. I felt I was getting a good car at a reasonable price. When I test drove it there was some shaking in the steering and there was a bit of a mess in the back storage compartment. They said that they would resolve this. I also asked if the recall had been taken care of on the vehicle and they stated that it had. When they gave me the car to take home the mess was not cleaned up, they said that they couldn’t get it clean, and they said that the steering issue was resolved. On my hour drive home I realized that the steering was still shaking. I figured that I could take care of the mess.
Over the next few days I saw that the engine was leaking oil and since the steering was still an issue I thought it would be best to take it back to Castle to take a look at the steering again and have the oil issue checked out. After I made the hour drive to the dealer I explained to the service department my issues and even the mess in the storage console in the back. They said that they would take care of everything and I would be all set. After I waited for over six hours I got my car back with them telling me that it was done. They said that they replaced a cover for an oil filter and re balances the tires and I should be good. On my hour drive home the car was still shaking, the mess was not cleaned and over the next couple of days the cardboard box I put under the car had a fresh pool of oil.
I took the car to a Mazda Dealer and they told me what was wrong with my car. The cover of the oil filter had a crack in it, my front rims were bent so I needed new front wheels, the transmission fluid was filthy and the ignition system needed to be cleaned. I had the oil filter cover taken care of at Mazda and they did a great job but everything else I had done at Sears and they did a great job. Mazda also informed me that the recall was not taken care of for this vehicle so I had them take care of that also. I called Castle and explained to them that they did nothing and their response was what do I want them to do about it. I had no answer because I wasn’t going to take it to the service department again because my confidence in their honor was shot and it was obvious that they did not care about the time and money I was going to have to put into the car.
So after I spent over $1400 to get the car to a level that I felt comfortable letting my wife drive the car is wonderful. I think it would probably have cost the dealer less than $800 to fix the issues and they could have charged a couple of thousand more for the car and shown that they take pride in their dealership and the way they take care of their customers.
I do not recommend them and I would have the car inspected by another dealer before I bought from them. Thank you.
I give this dealership one star not three. The stars did not reflect my responses.
I really had a wonderful car buying process at Castle Buick, Pontiac, GMC. After searching various car dealerships for the exact car I wanted, I found it at Castle. My salesman, Pete, was very helpful and knowledgable about the vehicle he was showing me. It was a painless experience and I would recommend Castle to all my friends and family.
I’ve Purchased many cars in the past, but I’ve never had this great of service. And they have great popcorn!

Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and professional staff. Very comfortable experience at Castle!
We bought a car on NYE from Patrick. He was super nice, honest and was not pushy. He is the only good part about them. We traded in a car for a different one, signed the papers and left. The bank started calling about 2 weeks later once we missed the car payment. We explained the car was traded in and Castle was supposed to pay off the loan within 10 days. Fast forward 8 weeks and the loan IS STILL NOT PAID OFF!!! I cant even count how many calls I have made, how many times they said they will overnight the check, ect. The fact is we now have late payments on our credit report and all they do is lie and lie and lie. It should not take 8 weeks and over 20 calls to do this. BEWARE and protect yourself
well, after reading the reviews online . i thought twice about going in, but after talking to the sales manger corey owens, he just gave me a great vibe about the store so i thought well whats the worst could happen. corey told me to ask for him and would help him self well i thought that was just to get me in considering he was the sales manger, to my surprise he was the one that helped me throuht the whole purchase i bought a 2006 g6 with 12k miles the whole staff was very frendily and althoght i had to wait what seemed like forever to get through the fiance portion of the process i really had a great car buying experince( if their such a thing) in short i really would recommend them to anyone o one thing they wont move on the price to much but to their credit they was the lowest price car online comparing apples to apples
