1st time I went for an oil change with topping off all fluids. It was a Saturday and I was told no appointment was necessary. Arrived at 9am. One man was already in, and another came later. Both left before I was called. It was a simple oil change. Yhe next morning I got in the car and wanted to wash my windows. Hit my washer and before it was over, the low fluid light came on. I thought there must be a reset button or something. I got out, popped the hood, my window washing fluid was almost empty and it wasn’t due to a leak. Called dealer on Monday, told him, he didn’t say he was sorry or any thing except bring it by and they’d check it. It was a couple of weeks before I could get by and when I did come by, they had locked up early. I went to the other building where they do oil changes and stuff which I think is weird anyway that you would separate your business up like that. A nice Hispanic man named George topped off all my fluids for me and was very nice.
(2) went back again today for oil change and tire rotation and Balance and was told they could do the oil change and rotation but I would have to go see George at the other building for balancing because their machine had torn up and they were “saving up” for a new one. I’m sorry, but you are a large metropolitan Ford Mercury, Lincoln dealer and servicer and you can’t afford a tire balancing machine. So I have to change all my plans because you can’t afford a machine. You also wanted to charge me Around $300 off the top of your head as the last one you “remember” doing was about $300. Oh, thank you so much for all your efforts. Also, you know that little “owner advantage” card that you gave me and it said I would get $10 off immediately. Well, I didn’t get it off the 1st time. So after I tell you not to take it personally that my visits to Beach Ford have been less than impressive, you didn’t say “I’m sorry” “Kiss my grits” or anything. You just sat there as I went out the door. So I went to Merchants Tire and spent about 93.00 that you missed out on. And they’ll be doing my service from now on. And that $300 module repair, I bet I find someone to do that cheaper too. And you car people wonder why you are going out of business and closing or being bought out by Obama Care. If you’d smile, take care of people, charge a reasonable price, you might have more business. But for me. If, it’s Lincoln stuff, I’ll drive to Florence or Wilmington or somewhere else.
This whole dealership was a pleasure to deal with while on vacation I broke down,
but no fear they did a great job at reasonable price and got me back on the road on time. Thanks to the entire staff at Beach Ford L-M:)
