I have just undergone a nightmare of an experience with this dealership and in particular the Service Manager at the Williamsburg location where I purchased 2 2008 vehicles (SUV and pickup truck) within months of each other. My son took my Sequoia for regularly scheduled maintenance and lo and behold, the incompetent service manager informed him that I did not have a pre-paid maintenance plan as well as informing him that it had expired. Which is not the case. He also stated that my extended warranty information could not be found. Since I am the owner, he called me at home and informed me of this as well. This was on June 20, 2012. In addition to bringing the vehicle in for maintenance, it was brought in because the factory installed DVD player had stopped working. I was told by the service manager that he would contact the company who is responsible for warranty repairs in order for them to evaluate the player in order to authorize the repair. I called and left a message for the service manager on July 2, 2012 but never received a return call. My son stopped by the dealership today, July 3, 2012 to find out the reason for the delay in servicing my DVD player and was threatened with arrest when he told someone to call 911 because he felt my son was “threatening” him. Again, he insisted that I did not have any of the above mentioned coverage. I guess he finally got the nerve to call me hours after he told my son he would and it was all I could do to stomach his lies about what happened. He finally admitted he made a mistake about the information he gave us regarding these warranties. I was so disgusted by his arrogance and lies that I just went off on him because he had the nerve to continue to display arrogance in the face of his incompetence. Being without backbone he hung up the phone on me and refused to answer the phone when I called back. What kind of business is this? As far as I am concerned, this dealership refused to honor my warranty contract which I paid for and I intend to pursue this in small claims court. Casey Toyota sucks and are money driven and treat customers like garbage after the sale. This is a very dishonest dealership and I highly recommend that customers shun them.
BTW, I called back (today), I demanded to speak with owner, Arthur Casey and was told he would be calling me back. He was at the dealership when the commotion was going on with my son today but I guess he was too busy to inquire as to what was going on. No wonder the employees don’t give a damn either. Their only concern is ripping off people who do have to pay for service and damn the people who they can’t get anything from other than a coupon.
Terrible, terrible, terrible. I will never use them again and I recommend that everyone find another dealer
