My husband and I went out of our way to seek out this dealer and sales person, upon the recommendation from our son. (There were other dealerships far closer.) He was right on with this person.
We never felt any pressure. He was extremely knowledgable not only about his own product, but with our questions of others as well. He made this an enjoyable experience. We had no burning desire to buy a car during this visit, but Joe made it so easy that we actually did buy a car that day!

In 2003 I bought a brand new Legacy Outback Wagon, and it has been a miserable experience. At approx 35,000 the head gaskets went out and was repaired under warranty. At approx 50,000 the computer system crashed and was replaced under warranty. About two years ago, I had all four brakes replaced, then about a year and a half later i had to have the front brakes replaced as the mechanics at carter installed them incorrectly. Carter Subaru refused to fix the problem and refused to reimburse me for the replacement. Now the car has approx 85,000 miles on it and the head gaskets need to be replaced again as well as other repairs because the mechanics at Carter replaced the original head gaskets incorrectly. it cost me $3600 to fix the mess that Carter Subaru caused. I will never buy another subaru as long as I live. Carter Subaru has lost a life long fan due to poor customer service and selling defective products. dont buy subaru from Carter subaru. STAY AWAY!
