Oh my Lord!!!
These guys really took the pressure and stress out of the car buying process! They made me feel relaxed, and quite honestly, I feel like they gave me the best deal. Not only in price, but in service too! They handled most of my concerns, the only request they didn’t fulfill is the fact they couldn’t make any more Chicken Wings!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!! I’ll be having my family
GREATEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!:D
To start off we are expecting our first child in the next 6 weeks and my wife wanted a new car that was safe for the baby. So I made the commitment to trade in our old beater and our Smart car (which is awesome for DC commuting but not for kids). We decided to test drive the Explorer at the Ford dealership in Leesburg. The internet price was listed as $24997.00, so we thought it was a great deal. However, once we got to the dealership, the sales guy told us that the price was actually $26999.00. I caught the switch initially and showed him the price on the internet from my Droid phone. He said it was for tax tags and fees etc. I wanted more for my trade in and I got an additional $1500 more from what they initially offered me, so I was feeling good. Little did I know the lie was coming. Since I had the price with tax tags etc in my head, and had a 8 month pregnant wife who had not eaten since lunch and it was now 9pm, I can say I was a little frazzled. I missed the point that what the sales guy had told me originally about the $26999.00 price including tax tags fees tax etc was now NOT including tax tags etc… till after we got home. We emailed the Sales guy right away and told him about the mistake. Then we called the dealership the next morning and talked to someone about the mistake, but they gave us the run around and were told to see the sales manager the following day. When I did talk to the manager he was only willing to give me an oil change, detail, and a gas tank full. I tried to get him to give me something in compensation like an 800$ oil change package for the 2000$ difference but he was not having it. I had bought a Ford Sport Track from the same dealer in the Past and they were great. The sport track I wanted was at a dealership in Manassas VA. I had already tried to pre-qualify at leesburg so I couldn’t buy the car anywhere except from Leesburg (some financial thing that could allow someone to buy more than one vehicle…understandable). When all was said and done, Ford in Leesburg got me the sport track from Manassas and I ended up paying $1000.00 less than I had negotiated at Manassas .,,, I am planning on trading in the sport track for a new truck soon but it will NOT be a Jerrys Ford Leesburg
