My Carson City Mazda Hyundai reviewWent in due to TPMS light on. Tires were at proper levels. Tech decides that over inflation to “fix” the light. So I am now at 37 lbs per tire, Hyundai recommends 32. When I ask technician about leaving my tire 5 lbs over, he assures me that it will be OK. Fast forward 3 months, all of the sudden, 2 front tires, which at service time were in like new condition, are now showing metal, both front tires. It is obvious this premature wear is due to over inflation.The dealership, from top down refuse to acknowledge their technicians poor judgment. Then as a follow up, the GM tells me that Hyundai says its OK to run tires over inflated. I know this a lie, so I asked for supporting documentation of this, he refuses. Just keeps repeating this over and over, with nothing to back this statement. DO NOT buy, or service at this dealership.
