On 9-17-09, I purchased a 2009 Trail Blazer from Carriage Chevrolet in Fayetteville TN. This car was a lease car with a clear Car Fax, showing 30,000 miles. They stressed it was still under full, bumper to bumper warranty. They never told me of any restrictions under this warranty. I paid them in full and thought they were as good as their word, only to find out they ARE NOT!!! About 2 weeks later I washed the car and noticed chipped paint on passanger side door, I then carried it back to the dealership and at that time they then pointed out that the drivers side back door had the same chipped paint. They said this was caused by small pea size gravel and they could not do anything to fix this problem for me. I live on an all paved road and driveway. I am 70 years old so therefore I do not speed or have anyone else driving this car. I can not believe General Motors would use such poor quaility of paint. I purchased this car in good faith and thought Carriage Chevrolet was selling it in the same way. All they did was give me a phone number for General Motors, which I called many times and was finally given a number for a District Specialist, whom I called three times, to only talk to a machine, after leaving several messages, I still heard nothing back from them. Why would anyone buy and EXTENED WARRANTY when the first one is NO GOOD?????? After getting an estimate for the repair of less than $500.00, I can not believe that is too much for them to pay for a happy customer. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER GENERAL MOTOR CAR OR WILL I NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM CARRIAGE CHEVROLET AGAIN!!!!!!
