I purchased a Ford Edge in February and I still have not received my license plates for the car. After seven weeks, I called the dealership. The person I spoke to, which handles the vehicle registrations, told me she had been sick and the paper work had to be redone. I was told that I should receive the plates in a week and half. After waiting another two weeks, I called to follow up on their status. I was sent to her voice mail and she never called me back. I waited another week. I then called and spoke to Kevin Burns, a sales manager regarding my license plates and frustration. Kevin told me he would personally follow up and call me the next day. I have yet to hear from anyone or receive my license plates.
Update- I received my license plates on 5/6
WAS GIVEN AND EST FOR WORK WICH CAME TO OVER 600.00 FOR HEAD GASKETS AND OTHER WORK. I DECLINED THEY CHARGED ME 106.00 FOR DOING NOTHING TO MY CAR. I STOPPED PAYMENT AND TOOK MY CAR ELSE WERE. I WAS TOLD ONLY SPARKPLUGS NEEDED FIXED AND I PAYED 89.00. FAR CRY FROM OVER 600.00 AND HEAD GASKETS. WELL STORY GETS BETTER, WEEKS LATER I RECIVED A CALL FROM A MAN NAMED MARC WHO SAID HE WORKED FOR THE COURT HOUSE AND HE WAS PROCESSING A CLAIM AGAINST ME FOR 106.00 AND THOUGHT IT WAS A RIDICULAS AMOUT AND WANTED TO GIVE ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO PAY IT BEFORE I WENT TO COURT OR FIGHT IT IF I THOUGHT I HAD A CLAIM. ( I SHOULD OF KNOWN) NEXT DAY I SENT MY NIECE TO CAOP FOR TO PAY THE 106.00 AND LOW AND BEHOLD WHOS VOICE DID SHE RECOGNIZE IT WAS MARC. HE DID NOT WORK FOR THE COURT HOUSE HE WORKED FOR CAPO FORD IN THE FINANCE DEPT. ( I HAVE TO SAY THEY GOT ME) BUT HOW DISHONEST ARE THESE PEOPLE TO GO THAT FAR AND LIE. I CALLED MARC AND TOLD HIM I KNEW WHO HE WAS AND WERE HE WORKED AND HE PRETTY MUCH PLAYED DUMB. SO IF YOU DEAL WITH CAPO FORD STAY AWAY FROM JERRY KEY AND MARC FERARRA( MAY HAVE SPELLED THE LAST NAME WRONG) OR TAKE MY ADVISE JUST STAY AWAY THESE PEOPLE ARE CON ARTIST AND ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY…… OH FORGOT ABOUT RICH RADER HE IS ONE TO WATCH OUT FOR AS WELL
Since the review it was unfortunate that the Windstar has loss an engine do to the head-gaskets that were previously diagnosed at Capistrano Ford. We are very sorry that this has happened and would help in any way we can. We know that times are difficult but we had provided the proper repair estimate.
Lost an engine sorry no we did not the windstar is still going and without capo help well capo is gone now
I totally recommend this dealership. It was the best car-buying experience I’ve ever had. Low pressure and very friendly!
