First off probably the worst service there. I’ve waited 20mins just to be greeted when there was not any signal customer in the room but 6 service people just standing around talking. A simple hi I’ll be right with would of been nice. I was quoted everything of time to price all wrong. I lost a key I was 20mins to make after my car arrived took them 7hrs. I was quoted no more the. $65 for the key I gotten way off the roof. No apolize about wait but the fact is if I call an spoke to 3 repersentives and they all said 20mins and the one guy mess up so I have the receipt where the key was $65 after tax it was only the towing I would have to pay. Poor customer service skills. No manger or supervisor around. It’s no wonder that places like these need a bail out. I will never return again. Very annoying when remember telling you a different story. They need to be thought some customer service skills!
The experience was wonderful! My sales person named Kim Capille was excellent. She a very bubbly salesperson focused on customer service! I wanted a new Sonic with specific options that was hard to find. Kim was up to the challenge! She found the car, and it had everything as promised. There was no hassle, and no “bad” news during the car buying process only good news. I will recommend Kim Capille to anyone thinking about purchasing a car, and Bennett Chevrolet as well because of Kim.
The finalized paperwork was with Scott Lam and he was equally pleasant to work with.
The whole experience at Bennett was a great one. I give you guys and gals five stars!
I went to bennet chevrolet because they had a vehicle that i was interested in and the price was great! The vehicle had a few scratches on it and they agreed to fix them. Only problem was i drove two hours north to this dealership and didn’t really feel like driving back another two hours when the repairs were made to pick it up. John Jock took over four hours of his day off to deliver my vehicle to me and drive my trade in back to the dealership. Scott Lam (finance mngr.) was also a pleasure to work with. He also went out of his way to make sure we had a great deal with everything we wanted! Both men are exceptional and exceeded all our expectations! My wife and i consider both john & scott friends.
I have referred a coworker to John Jock already. I will continue to refer John Jock @ Bennett Chevrolet to everyone i know! It definitely was worth the 180 mile round trip to work with such knowledgable individuals that surely gave my wife and I a new respect for car dealers. John and Scott could teach others on professionalism, courtesy, knowledge, and respect! It was our pleasure working with these gentlemen and will be driving back up when we are ready for a new or used vehicle. I have been buying new and used vehicles (15 of them total) for thirty two years and this was by far the best experience yet!
Go to Bennett Chevrolet and see John Jock. You will be glad you did! Please tell john & scott i said hello.
My old car died on the way to work in the morning which is what prompted me to buy a car in the first place. needless to say it was a hugely stressful day and then on top of it i had to buy my first grown up car. when i arrived at bennett chevy i was already overwhelmed when Mark came over to welcome us, however despite my stress level Mark made me feel very comfortable right off the bat. He listened to my sob story and even knowing that i was desperate he didnt once pressure me to buy anything or to even look. he talked to me like a father, he gave me advice that was unbiased and welcomed. He helped me find the car that was right for me and he also urged me to take my time and really feel comfortable with the car and the numbers. I walked out of bennett chevy after everything in a certified used car that felt brand new to me and i walked out with the stress of the day somewhat relieved.
Brought my Saturn Ion to Bennett Chev for an oil leak. They said they would have to order a seal and would call when the part arrived. They never called, I called twice (no callback after the first call as they stated) to find that the part had arrived. I made an appointment for 10am and arrived at 9:45am. At 11:45am the car had not even been brought into the service area. Their excuse was “they have a new computer system”. I pointed out their signs stating that ANYTHING LESS THAN COMPLETELY SATISFIED IS A FAILURE, and left.
Sales and closing people were difficult and became openly hostile. They weren’t very accomodating to sales conducted via the Internet and from other reviews elsewhere their in person attitude isn’t much better. I think this partly stems from salespeople being more comfortable with face meetings. The dealer was threatening to cancel a rebate after we agreed on a sales price for a specific vehicle, but wouldn’t take steps to expedite the sale before the end of the month. If you are purchasing from a distance (for a local relative, for example) you should shop elsewhere. You might even consider this if shopping locally.
