About 6 weeks ago our vehicle was leaking coolant from the vehicle so we took it to the dealership. We were told at that time that the car needed a new radiator. We agreed to the repair to the sum of about $800. About 2 weeks after that my son was driving to work and the car overheated. He pulled over and waited for the car to cool down and called the dealership. He was advised he could nurse the vehicle to the dealership which was about 5 miles away. When he got there the car was inspected and was determined that when the radiator was installed the dealership failed to reconnect the cooling fans after installing the radiator. My son was able to drive the car away. About a month later the car started leaking coolant again so he took the vehicle back to the dealership. After having the car all day we were told that it now needed a new water pump, radiator switch and a new coolant container. The dealership specifically said 6 weeks before that the container was fine. The repair was going to cost us $900< When asked why these problems weren't discovered when the work was done previously we were told that the parts were fine at the time of the radiator replacement. We were told that apparently the car had overheated and damaged the parts. When reminded of the incident where the dealership failed to connect the cooling fans, we were told that didn't have anything to do with the car overheating. The dealership took no ownership of their error which led to the car overheating. I would suggest you stay away from this dealership. You can go online and see many complaints where they have dealt dishonestly with customers. It won't happen to us again nor anyone else that we tell of our experience.
We just looked at the battery replacement that was done some time ago on our VW and the bolts were striped out and other parts were not installed correctly and damaged. Numerous times I brought in a discount coupon from them for service but they never honored it but when I brought it to their attention they said they would take care of it the next time. Well promises, promises never happen with them. And as we check the car out we find that other parts were not installed correctly and damage was done. Not a place where I would take my vehicle again to. They lied to my wife about the problems with the vehicle and said that the vehicle was too complicated to fix. What a bunch to BS. It has cost me extra time and money to try to fix what they damaged or did not do. Not some place where I would take any type of vehicle.
