DO NOT USE Bossier Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Hillsboro, Texas. I repeat, DO NOT USE Bossier Chrysler Dodge Jeep. In over 30 years of dealing with dealerships, this is by far the worst experience I have had.
I took my vehicle, which was three days old, in for service due to engine light coming on. Upon entering the service department which has two service advisers there was no-one there. There were two people already waiting when I walked in. About 10 minutes later the two service advisers walk in together. Where they had been I don’t know, maybe employee lounge because out of five times entering the service department only once was someone there. Would it be too much to ask to have at least one service adviser at there station during business hours.
I went in the next day to pick up my vehicle, again no one was in the service department office. I noticed several keys setting on top of the counter, on the desk and a couple on key board on wall. One of the keys on top of the counter was mine so I pushed the automatic start so that my truck would be cooling down. I went down to the Parts department to have them call someone down to the Service office. Again the two service advisers walk in together, where they had been I have no idea. The one helping me started looking for my key on the key board, in the desk, on the desk and I said it is right here on top of the counter with these others. Needless to say there key control system sucks. It might be a good idea if you are not going to be in the office to lock the door so that someone doesn’t come in and take a vehicle, just saying. It might also be good to have service advisers that actually know something about vehicles instead of 20-something females that have no clue. Don’t get me wrong, it has nothing to do about being a female because I have dealt with other female service advisers at other dealers that know a whole lot more than me about vehicles. My wife sold tires as one of her first jobs and she knows more about tires than I do. I was told the truck was fixed, come to find out they only reset the computer so the light would go off. I found this out when I left and made a stop then got back into the truck and the engine light was on again.
I took the vehicle back the next day only to find no one in the office again. After having someone paged to come to the service department I left my vehicle on Friday the 19th of June early AM. I received a call that a part was ordered and that it would be in Saturday and the truck would be ready to pick-up. I did not hear from them on Saturday. I called on Monday only to be told that a part was ordered and should be here on Tuesday and it would be fixed, evidently the same part that was not ordered on Friday. I wait until Wednesday and call again. Notice, I am doing all the initiation of communication. I am told that the part didn’t fix the problem and they were still working on it. Again, I call late Thursday to find out the status of the vehicle. Again, I am the one initiating contact. I am told they are still trying to figure out what is wrong.
On Friday, after the vehicle being there the second time for seven days, when it has only sit in my driveway for three. I went in to pick up the vehicle whether it was fixed or not. Again, upon entering the service department office there was no one there. After getting someone to the office and stating that I wanted to pick up my vehicle they bring it around and the service adviser that I had been dealing with the whole time asked if I had received a call. I said “No”. She said, “Well it is fixed.”. REALLY!!!! You are the service adviser, shouldn’t you have made that call.
When getting into the vehicle, I noticed the door sill and the carpeted floor mat is covered in grease along with the leather steering wheel. They have paper floor mats but didn’t use them. My vehicle also has a couple of hundred more miles on it than when I dropped it off.
I will be having a meeting with the owner of the business, I refrained from doing that yesterday as I would probably be writing this post from a jail cell.
Again, DO NOT USE Bossier Chrysler Dodge Jeep!
