I bought my vehicle from them one year ago and I went there to replace all 4 tires. I was given a price quote for Good Year tires. Before I got the car back I checked the new tires – they were Kumho brand.
The service rep Jay made that change. He had a chance to tell me about the change before, during and after the work was done. As a matter of fact they should make sure I am OK with that change. Instead, I found out about the change by myself.
I had the impression they tried to trick me into some inferior product hoping I would not notice. My trust in their company is shaken, I will explore other dealers in future. This makes me sad, Honda is a good brand.
Not sure who helped me. Needed repair work done on the vehicle. It was going to take all day…and they weren’t going to give me a loaner vehicle to use.
Went to Honda of Kenosha and they had absolutely no problem giving me a loaner! Honda of Kenosha now has my business. They are extremely friendly!
Recently purchased a 2010 hyundai elantra from this dealer and a salesman named Tom. Test drove the car and thought the ride quality and price was right. The car was very dirty with stains on the seats and chrome with spotting. They assured me that both would clean up like brand new. It conveniently was being cleaned while we made the deal on the car. When it was pulled around out front, things didn’t look any better on the interior. I later found that the a large stain in the backseat had been covered up with some compound that matched the seat color, and not cleaned and removed. Driving home in stop and go traffic revealed a severely slipping transmission. Returned to the dealership and spoke with the sales manager and he said to take it to a Hyundai dealer (he made it apparent they would not fix the car). Went to the hyundai dealership and they informed me that the transmission was shot and it needed to be replaced. This car was sold by Tom and the dealership knowing full well the transmission was bad. When confronted they were unwilling to help correct any problems. Thank God for the hyundai warranty. At least on company stands by their work. Wilde Honda is not the place to go. They will take what they can get and avoid responsibility after you drive off the lot.
The sales person was OK and was low pressure. The sales manager was rude, abrasive, aggressive and condescending to his employee and to us. I have never seen a sales person jump out of their chair and lean over a desk to intimidate a customer who happened to be my 80 year old mother.
The sales manager left abruptly when and said “I need to get to my desk…I don’t have time for this…I don’t have time for this and then stopped before saying the word that usually ends that statement.
I believe that the excellent rating that Wilde has is for new car sales and is not an indication of the aggressive sales tactics that the sale manager engaged in.
We went to look at a couple of cars that we had checked out on the website. We did not have to spend much time actually picking the car we wanted to purchase, 30 minutes at the most. In total we were at the dealership for four hours with two small children. When it came time to complete financing, we were offered four choices for “service maintenance plans”. We did not want to increase our expenses so we chose the least expensive one. We admit we were not paying strict attention to every detail in this process, we were all hungry and tired and anxious to be finished.
We purchased the car on Saturday the 13th of November, we mad two stops before going home. We did not drive the car on Sunday, Monday morning the car’s battery was dead. It took more than 10 minutes on the jumper cables to get the car to start.
I promptly called Wilde Honda about this problem and was told to leave a message with the salesman who sold us the car. I then reviewed the paper work from Wilde. There was a charge for $2,400.00 for “service maintenance”. I didn’t remember what this was, so I called and left a message with financing about this. I found out that this was what we chose because it would gives us the lowest monthly payment for the car, but what was not explained at the time was that there was a fifth option. It was not pointed out that we could choose NO service plan which would reduce our monthly payment by $63.00.
After I made it clear to Joyce from financing that we do not want that plan and we want the financing reworked to reflect a lower payment, she “researched it” and found a way to do that for us.
There was still more trouble to be follow in the sevice department.
I purchased an Accord with some scratches on its body with a promise from the sales person Mr. John Kent that he would do the touch up in two days. He signed what the dealer owed in front of me however I never got that receipt and he never kept that promise.
He clearly cheated me by conspiring with his manager.

I inquired about a Used Honda Odyssey (2005) Touring with the internet. I would honestly have to say not more than 2 min. had passed and I was getting called by Mr. Skow (Scuba). He gave me all the information I was looking for and I believe was listening to me about my situation. My husband passed and only had so much money to purchas an Odyssey. Being a women it can sometime be a little intimidating going to a dealership by yourself. Well I can not give Steven enough credit, he treated me like we had been friends for years. Thank you Steven (Scuba) and thank you Wilde Honda, the 3 hour trip it took me to get to your dealership from Wausau was well worth it…
We actually went in to purchase a car for my sister. She was stuck between a ’08 Pilot and the ’08 Accord. Luckily for my family and i, i was able to convince here that the ’08 Accord was the better buy. We brought in a 2002 Accord V6 for the trade-in/ downpayment and got a decently good price for it; especially for the condition the car was in. Sol was also very kind in every way towards my whole family and i. He never rushed us and in fact told us to sleep on it. Instead, we bought the car that day. +1 for Wilde. Sadly, i was not able to buy my S2000 from this dealer due to the fact that they did not have any in stock. I regret this decision of mine even now. DO NOT GO TO SCHLOSSMANN’S, ALWAYS GO TO WILDE FOR HONDA!!
was sold a truck a truck that steve said twice was a all wheel drive. but when we got it home and looked more closely and found out that it was just a two wheel drive.took it back to it back to the dealer. steve told his manger that he did not asy it was all wheel drive, and ran off not to be seen any more that day and now we are in a fight to get our old car back.
We have bought two new Hondas from Wilde Honda in Waukesha. Would not hesitate to buy new or used from them again. Not exactly around the block for us, but worth every penny of the drive.
We always ask for Mr. Shuster. Best car salesman I have ever seen, and I used to be one!
I recently bought a car from Wilde Honda in Waukesha. I just wanted to write and say how pleasent of an experiance it was! My salesman Chad was freindly and really worked to get us into a car that fit our needs. When it came time to talk money he was honest and upfrount about our options and really worked hard to make sure we were comfortable with our decision. I would highly recomend Wilde Honda as well as seeing Chad for your next car!
