NEVER BUY FROM AUTO SENSE!!!! Ok 1st off ALL their cars have one issue one way or another….My car had the check engine light come on withing 2 miles of signing contract and driving off. (Evap leak) AND when i drove to mother in laws and left (at night) the dash lights DIDN’T work at ALL and almost got in a accident becouse of it. and i took in a family ring for collateral…Oh yeah i mention interist rate is 36%….NEVER allow ANYONE to finance you with WESTLAKE!!!!!!!! I have SO many problemswith the car….car makes a weird sound driving sometimes and when they “fix” lgihts on the car ALL they do is TURN OFF THE LIGHT and NOT check it!!!! DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO DO THIS!!!!! Also i have had 2 flat tires in 2 weeks since i got the car…They are ok with paying the collateral “so far” but not holding my breath and their “Mechanic” (Darrell) DON’T GO THEIR he won’t work on the car if so at a slug pace.
–IF ON YOUR “PROMISSARY” FIX LIST IT DOESN’T STATE THAT YOU MUST GO TO THEIR MECHANIC DON’T!!! (Go elsewhere and THEY are still having to pick up the bill IF it is on your Promisary…
but all together DO NOT GO HERE!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
First I would like to say that yes we were happy until last friday Jan. 7, 2011. Our loan on our van was to be paid off in June 2011. Funy thing is we had 5 more months of payments and they repoed our van because we were late on a payment. we attempted several times on giving “endevor aka auto sense” a payment. Wem this so called employee was more then likely the other one in the car the evening Taylor came to repo our van. They followed us home because we had the children with us and they were terrified. Not only did they put our family in danger they put others at risk with there dangerious driving. We parked our car in our garage and shut the door and asked them to leave. Our children we terrified and crying. We had every intention on paying this vehicle off. We asked repeatly for several papers which were never given. We looked over our contract and they dont even have the correct info on the contract. We have paid over $5900 on this van for them to take it away. It was a Chevy Venture not a truck but a van. It bothers me that yeah I am the one who made mistakes in the past to have to do a by here pay here but I had the money to make the payment and they refused it. They wanted the van. So long story short after renting a can for 2 years and false promises from Wem the so called employee at the so called bank endenvour aka auto sense they now have a 2002 Chevy Venture for Sale probably for the same price we bought it for for sale. I hope the next sucker who gets sucked into this enjoys renting from auto sense aka endenvour financial as much as my 9 and 5 year old daughter did and my 8 month old son did. Sad thing about this is That the whole entire time we rented this van we missed a total of 4 payments and Wem and us worked those out. According to Wem we were current at the time of repo. Wems comment was this has been a headache since last winter and his boss auto sense wanted the van back. We looked at our paper work and besides fees and interest the van principle was paid off. What a shame.
zach james is the rudest sales man i have ever talked to in my life! i would never buy a car from this business and i hope they dont get any business from anyone! who ever buys a car from here is a complete idiot!
Purchased a Isuzu Rodeo about 2.5 yrs ago. One week in the check engine light comes on, so I take it back. They say they had fixed the problem. The All they did was pull the battery cable off to restart the check engine light sensor. 50 miles later it goes off again. So I take it to a mechanic. They were just as bad, the computer reads about 6 different sensor problems. I replace all of them, totaling around $1000.00. Go to pick-up my car, & 50 miles later the check engine light comes on again. So I take it back to the mechanic where they run some more tests. They find out that the computer system in the vehicle does not even match the vehicles vin number. Which is odd. SO I have been driving this vehicle for almost 3yrs, in that time I have only put 8,000 miles on the vehicle. A of right now there is a little over 100,000 miles on this 2001 rodeo. The transmission is about to go out, I can’t ever pass emissions & every time i fix a problem the computer finds another one. I suggest never buying from this place.
😡
We went to AutoSense looking for a cheap car, our blew a head gasket the weekend previous. We had no down payment when we went in, and they told us they would take something as collateral… mistake 1. We took our TV and digital camera in for them to keep while we came up with our down. Meanwhile, we took the car home and started to drive it. We began to notice steam, and realized the radiator had a slight crack. We called and talked to our salesman, who told us they would fix the problem before we ever had to pay our down… mistake 2. He transferred us to Patty (I like to call her Patsy, it pisses her off!) who told us to take it to there mechanic and have him look at it and assess what needs to happen, so we did. He told us to give him about a week and he’d have the part. Two weeks went by and finally Patsy called and told us we were to NOT drive the car and insisted that WE damaged the car and told us to IMMEDIATELY take the car and drop it off to there mechanic, so we did… mistake 3. A few days went by and we called but AutoSense had no information as to when our car would be done, so we drove into the dealership. Patsy came out and began to chew us out, call us ALL SORTS of names, in front of customers no less, and told us how WE damaged the car and they weren’t going to let us have it back, and to kiss our collateral good-bye because they were keeping it AND the car. She then proceeded to tell us to leave that we were now trespassing and she would call the police if we didn’t leave immediately. She wouldn’t let us see any of the paperwork they claimed to have ‘filed’ in there office about us and the car. It has now been a week since, the police have been contacted, and we have contacted an attorney. At this point, they still have the car, our possessions, as well as the items we left in the car when we dropped it off to the ‘mechanic’. Patsy told us it was now there property because we voluntarily gave them possession of the car. If you try to purchase a vehicle from AutoSense, THINK AGAIN!!!! NEVER trust your business to AutoSense!!!! I know WE never will again!
:mad::mad::mad:The day I drove my car off of the lot the engine light and airbag light came on. I tried to take the car back that very day. They wouldn’t let me telling me that if I did return the car it would just damage my credit like a car repo. I took the car back to the lot. They supposedly fixed it. After getting the car back I drove 40-50 miles before both of the lights would come back on. This same situation happened over and over again. They would even have people that work at the lot supposedly drive the car for 80 miles while having it and the lights would supposedly never turn on. Only until I would get the car back and drive it for 40-50 it would again turn on.
They also didn’t turn my car title into a financial company by the thirty days that they are supposed to. I used that against them to give my car back with the agreement that I would pay .35 cents per mile. Out of my $1,000 car down payment I was supposed to receive $398 dollars. Three weeks later I received a check in the mail for $210.
I went to Auto Sense to confront them. While I was there, I was the only customer there. A lady that I have never met came from out from a back office and told me to leave, then she got in my face, told me to sit down on the couch. I wouldn’t sit down so she grabbed me by my throat and scratched my throat I called the police and filled a report and the police took pictures.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
I purchased a vehicle from autosence in Oct. 08. I got exactly what I had been looking for, it ran great, had the options I wanted, was just what I needed. Untill I recieved a call from Jared Feb. 09 saying they didn’t have a title and were going to try to get it. Of course I got the run around for a while then Taylor stated he would find me another vehicle that compaired to what I had. I gave him several other vehicles I would accept, I thought this would help but, in the end it didn’t. I intially purchased a 04 Ford Explorer with the works, the first vehicle was another explorer that ended up having a bad rearend the next was another explorer. I test drove this one but the tranny was very slippery, I mentioned this to Taylor but he told me his mechanic inspected this truck and found no problems which to this day I completley disagree. I refused that truck and in May our finance guy came to Idaho we all had a “meeting” and by the time we were done I was so fed up I ended up with a 1999 GMC Yukon which had none of the things my explorer had. I live in Mtn. Home and hadn’t even made it out of Boise before the check engine light came on so I called Taylor, my husband and I made it home but were asked to shell out our money to come back to Boise so one of Taylor’s guys could look at it and tell us someone else cleared the codes and nothing was wrong with the truck. Mind you before I took this truck I asked to just get my money back because I ended up losing out on this explorer and my 2000 VW Jetta I traded but yet again they screwed me and were going to charge me the mileage I put on the explorer which came out to more than what I currently had paid on the explorer. So it was either take yet another pos from them or make yet another payment on something I no longer had( the explorer). Now I did my phone calls and even the motor vehicle inspector told us they had that right even though I did no wrong. Even the attorney general’s office said there was nothing we could do and we couldn’t afford an attorney. So Autosense screwed us and we are paying about $5000 too much for a 99 Yukon. All we can do is suck it up pay this pos off and get rid of it asap. So to anyone wanting to purchase anything from Autosense be very very cautious!!!! I know it’s been about 10 months this still chapps my ASS!
Very outgoing. Went above and beyond for me. Great follow up and he actually gave me his personal cell. So glad they hired this new salesman. Also thank you for the christmas card Zach.:D
We bought a 1999 Mercury Couger and drove it home, the next day it had trouble starting and discovered that the starter was bad, and possibly the fly wheel had damaged teeth. We took it back to Auto Sense and they said they could fix it for minimal cost, so we said fine go ahead. Picked up the car two days later, after they promised the day before, paid $100.00, and drove it home and the starter did the same thing. It was not fixed, they probably did not even look at it, hard to tell, but it was not fixed. We were also told that the flywheel was fine. We took it to our mechanic and the starter and flywheel is damaged and will need replaced to the tune of over $1000.00. Went back to Auto Sense and of course we bought it “as is” and they could do nothing. I asked for my $100.00 back and was told I would have to talk to Tayler and of course he said he would call us back, he never did. The next day I went into Auto Sense and Tayler was not available and was told that they could not give us Tayler’s phone number, but he would call…never did. I found Tayler’s phone number on Craigs List (funny they could not give it out to us, but can post it on Craigs List) Called Tayler and he finally agreed to give us the $100.00 back and I went and picked it up. If you are tempted to drive in to Auto Sense on Fairview, in Boise, don’t…Drive away as fast as you can!!!!
We bought a car from them that has been broken down more than it’s run in the past four months. They did replace one part on it that went out w/i a week of buying the POS, but then the transmission went out. We didn’t ask for a refund or a repair. We simply wanted to exchange it for another vehicle, but they told us the finance company wouldn’t allow trade-ins for six months. So, we’ve endured the six months w/ the car that barely runs, and now, they won’t do a trade-in, because that isn’t their policy. Um, okay, then why did they say it was? Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this junk lot. They sell lemons and don’t care about the consequences. Their selection sucks, and the few cars they have that are in good shape are so overpriced that few (who would be shopping at a buy here-pay here place) can get qualified for them.
this is the worst car dealership that i have ever delt with they have done nothing but lie to me and my wife over the car that i have bought from them.they are not very honest people at all.i would never recommend this car lot to anyone
😀 Very good business. I just bought my first car and it was a lot easier than I thought. The salesman was honest and very outgoing. I would recommend anyone with challenged credit to swing by. Even if just to see what they can do. My brother may be getting a car from them as well. Very high marks in my book. No sleezy salesmen.
DJ, you work there…What a joke.
