Did not keep their promises lied to me!! Shop elsewhere Poor customer service
I bought and took delivery of a 2013 Hyundai Sonata from Bob King Hyundai on July 30, 2012; this vehicle had an outstanding recall (safety defect regarding the unintentional deployment of side curtain airbags) which Bob Hyundai neither advised me of or repaired prior to delivery. There is a federal law prohibiting such actions: 49 USC 30120(I)
Be particularly suspect of the service director and general sales manager who apparently do not pay attention to updates regarding safety issues concerning the vehicles they sale. As of 09/07/2012, this dealership still does not have the parts on hand to repair this safety issue; leaving to question, are the vehicles they are currently delivering to customer’s safe?
Sold us a car without air conditioning! We bought the car in December but didn’t realize the error until now. Bruce was somewhat helpful until he had the check then he was unfriendly and unhelpful. Used car manager looks like he stepped out of a 70s strip club. Buy at your own risk.
Danisha Jinnah did excellent job as a salesperson and will go far in sales. Mike Cutshaw did awsome job in the finance dept. I really believe he needs to be considered as a General Manager. This guy has a way with people that only a few ever learn in life. Check him out, he might be your diamond in the rough. J.Wayne Vaughan, Owner/Broker Galax Realty Group Galax, Virginia
Thanks to everyone at Bob King Hyundai on the purchase of my new Sonata. Jesse Drost our Sales Person was very nice and freindly and really listened to us. I will be a fan of Bob King and Jesse from now on.:D
I was contacted based on my use of their website. I talked with a salesman, Kason, and made an appointment to go on a Saturday. I took all the necessary documents “just in case” I found something that suited my needs at a price I could afford. He gave me directions to the dealership and on Saturday, I left in plenty of time to make my 10:45 appointment. The directions sucked ! It was raining hard, the traffic was heavy, and I found Highway 52….but there is 52N and 52S with more than 1 exit for each one. I got off the highway and called, but for some reason, my salesman couldn’t come to the phone. So, someone by the name of “Renee” told me to get back on Highway 52. North or South? South. Told me to look for “Patterson”. I was all the way at Midway before I got off the road and called again. By this time, I’ve got a serious tension headache and this yahoo still couldn’t give me accurate directions. Kason’s directions had me looking for a KFC and a Wilco….the other salesman couldn’t tell me what exit to take. It was a disaster. Needless to say, I put my wide a$$ back on the road and went home. **Alert ** You’re not the only dealership in NC. Evidently you don’t need to sell a car and guess what…..I don’t have to buy one. Next stop? ANYWHERE BUT BOB KING !!
Get this: when I got home, there was a message from yet another person at Bob King saying that I had a 10:45 appointment and that I was late; they were wanting to know if I was coming or not ! HELLO !!! DO YOU PEOPLE NOT TALK TO EACH OTHER OR RELAY MESSAGES?
I got a call when I put my name on the internet. Neal or Harry called me back very quickly with answers to my questions. He answered them honestly, which was great for me because I did not know much about Kias. I went in on a Saturday and it was a little busy but they got through the buying process at a fair time. I have been driving my Kia Optima for about 4 months and love it. I have not had any problems and the whole dealership process was great there.
My whole experience was awful. I bought a used car from them but never again. They not only lost a future sale but also my mother and my sister had bought from them previously and they will not be back. I was told it was a good used car. Paid cash. I have owned the car for less than 3 months and so far have had to replace the rack and pinon steering, the power steering blelt, had the air conditioner fixed. New tires, brakes and brake pads, plugs and had to have
the front end aligned. In total the car has been in the shop for 2 weeks having various repairs. I have only driven it less than 2k miles. When I complained was told to drive it around!!!!! Pretty much ignored. They got rid of a lemon and I am proud owner of lemon that I couldnt give away.
I got a price quote from the internet. Arrive a couple of day later on apoointment. Dealer nearly 100 miles away:mad:. The car I got a quote on was not there. First I was told it was sold only later to be told that a employee had it out on a demo. What liers. They tried to push us in another car we had no interest in.
false ads on the radio and TV.
”Kia Spetra gets 24 city miles and 35 HWY miles.” The salesman also stated the same thing.
Bought a new 08′ Kia Spetra expecting make the payment by what I caculated we would save on gas if my child was not driving our Jeep to college.
My daughter and I drove it to college orientation. I averaged 21 miles a gallon. We drove HWY 52 to 40 to 421 all the way there. You could not ask for better roads than that.
I am so unhappy. My daughter can not drive to college and back on a tank of gas. It has a 14 gallon gas tank!! We got about 280 mile on a tank of gas. That does not include any riding around at college. THAT IS STRAIGHT TO COLLEGE AND BACK. Then she will need to stop in Winston-Salem or King NC to put gas in because she is on empty.
Kia did a fuel comsumption test and stated “It gets 24 HWY miles and that is within their spects. I left the dealership in tears.
Now I have a new cars with:
terrible gas mileage
extra gas payment
extra car payment
plus college payment
I do not want anyone else to experience what I have.
PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME!!! I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO..
IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO???
If you can not help please let me know.
Please give me some kind of answer back.
