I went to this dealer intending to buy an XC70 or XC60 but the General Sales Manager was not helpful at all. In fact, I had to do all the leg work myself going to different dealers to get the best appraisal for my trade in but the Volvo dealer was not willing to negotiate. They did not return my phone calls or reply to my emails, very unprofessional. I took my vehicle to CarMax (which Volvo suggested) and Crest Cadillac, who were both extremely helpful. I even had a preapproved check ready to purchase a vehicle but since the customer service was horrible I ended up buying a Cadillac SRX. It was comparable to an XC60 and the customer service sold me. I had a S80 before but I’m not begging to buy another Volvo. I would never recommend this dealer to another person at Fort Campbell especially since they say they appreciate the military (I am in the military). I guess they didn’t want to sell the vehicle that bad, or at least to me.
I paid twice what I was quoted. I paid for repairs I had not authorized despite my presence in the waiting room. I would not have chosen to make this repair had I known it was not covered. Had they asked me to authorize or told me what they were doing, I would not have wanted them to. Instead they did it and then expected me to pay another $300.
I’ve been there three times and have waited hours, been treated disrespectfully and have been lied to by the employees.
I was told by my customer service person ‘you’ve been sabotaged’ and I surely was.
I was told I’d see the general manager who never showed in 3.5 hours and 7 hours later, I’m still waiting for a phone call.
I will never recommend Volvo of Nashville nor return.
