This is the worst Nissan dealership I have ever experienced. This place is just the worst dealership period. They are LIARS, SHADY and INCOMPETANT. The only reason I finalized a sale with them is because I knew they were going to try and screw me worse. I purchased a used Altima, filled out all the finance apps, traded in my paid off vehicle, wrote a check for $3500.00. I was told that everything was set and was on my way. Later that week i get a call from Paul stating that they needed additional information. I didnt have access to what they wanted and they automatically got rude with me. I was told more than several times not to worry about the financing, they had it all set, it was a done deal etc… 2 weeks went by, another trip to Vero to bring them more personal financial information and a call from the GENERAL MANAGER stating that I had to bring the car back. The following day i get a call stating that once again everything was going to be fine, I just had to put down more money. RIDICULOUS!!!!!! Buyer Beware!!!!! The ONLY reason I went through with it was because I knew they were going to try and screw me because I had put over 1,000 miles on the new car AND they didnt have my trade in vehicle. Also want to add .. MIKE DELPRETE was the salesman, he is a rude and has no manners whatsoever. He will call you, be nice at first then when he doesnt get what HE wants, he will start swearing at you. His favorite word must be F**K.. Heard it about 50 times in one phone call that ended with me hanging up on him. These people can not be trusted. Please take your hard earned money elsewhere, you will be glad you did.
I have a 2007 Nissan that I did not buy at Vero US 1 Nissan, but I live in Vero Beach and this is the dealer I use for service. Since day one I have had nothing but a bad experience with the service department making comments about my not purchasing the vehicle from them, among other very un professional things. My Nissan is about 1 year old and has needed a few repairs every trip to this dealership has been a bad experience. In a nutshell AVOID THIS DEALER OR BE DISAPPOINTED!! 😡
I had made an appointment on phone with a salesman called Benny to purchase a Maxima. I told him what features I am looking for and what price I am willing to pay. He confirmed that he had one with those features and at that price in stock. I drove about 45 mins to this dealership. Benny wasn’t there even though I had made a prior appointment, so I had to wait for about 20 mins. When finally I got the keys to drive the Maxima we talked on phone, I figured it was a demo vehicle with more than 5000 miles on the odometer. Benny deliberately suppressed this fact from me even though I clearly mentioned that I was interested only in new ones. Instead of apologizing, he kept on arguing that a demo vehicle is a new vehicle.
I went on a test drive with a guy called Craig in another Maxima. When we returned he told me to park it just behind my car even though there were many other parking spots available. I offered a price but Benny wouldn’t negotiate. Another guy, supposedly the sales manager, came to explain to me what price they bought the car for and why they can’t accept my offer. All of that was bullshit. Both his and Benny’s tones were very disrespectful. I couldn’t even leave as I couldn’t take my car out. Benny is an outright liar and thinks of himself as the best salesman of the world.
The good thing about Vero Nissan is that their dealer fees is $399 (as compared to $599 for most dealers in central FL) and they include certain services like free oil change, two tanks of gas, etc. in that fee.
The dealership is in a sorry state with the sales manager yelling at his staff rebuking him in front of the customers. Trust me, it wasn’t a drama worth watching. The dealership is very small and the new cars are parked so close that one cannot get into a car without touching the one beside it.
I did not purchase a vehicle here but Craig called and emailed me several times after that with prices of different Maximas they have in stock. I will not recommend Vero Nissan, especially Benny, to anyone.
