This is my 5th purchase from Velde Ford, and the 4th from David Woodhouse. Velde Ford is not the closest Ford dealer to me, but it has always been the most affordable and easiest to deal with, thanks to the efforts and consideration of David Woodhouse and Kelly OConnor.
Superb! I spent 6 hours at another Ford dealer and was not impressed. When I was contacted by Velde Ford they scheduled an appointment on Sunday to look at their vehicles. I might add that Velde Ford is closed on Sundays. Upon my arrival David Woodhoouse had the vehicle that I was looking at ready and was eager to answer all my questions. With in 30 minutes I had signed a purchase contract and picked up my new Focus the next day. I was treated with honesty and respect and all my future Ford purchases will be at Velde Ford.
Communicating with customers while they wait, giving progress reports is extremely helpful, while the customers wait for the service to be completed. I had two individuals communicating with me as to the progress of my service. That was greatly appreciated. Thanks, Sherry.
I had a great experience. My car was ordered and was in by the date promised. Also, Glenn Foxworth, our salesman at Velde Ford, had all of my paperwork ready when I arrived. Many thanks!
This is the 5th vehicle I have purchased from Velde Ford in 11 years. I have always had good sales service, and I absolutely appreciate the service department for servicing my vehicle. Jim Mapp treated me with respect and took care of all details of finding me a vehicle that I wanted and worked expertly through the entire process.
Salesperson & Finance were good; no pressure. First American car in a long time. Good vehicle! Thank you so much, Velde Ford & Ike Herrmann.
We knew what we were looking for and Velde Ford had what we wanted. The salesperson (Ike Herrmann) and the whole staff was very courteous. They left us to talk between ourselves and when there was a difference in what we thought the car was worth and what they were offering they were very accommodating in getting us the price we were after.
Everything with the buying process was great!https://cardealercheck.com/forum//forum/images/smilies/smile.gifTwo problems
1. Cost of extra warranty was very high: didn’t buy.https://cardealercheck.com/forum//forum/images/smilies/frown.gif
2 Couldn’t finance anything under $10,00.00: the car was around $15,000.00 and we wanted to put 8 thousand down. : didn’t finance, paid cashhttps://cardealercheck.com/forum//forum/images/smilies/eek.gif
All the other reviews are glowing. Only service department I have seen without a complaint. Must be writing their own reviews. I am a real customer, owned 10 Ford Explorers. never purchased one here, only had it serviced here due to loacation. Poor correction record, but they love those diagnostic fees.
I had a really good car buying experience. Glenn Foxworth answered all of my questions and got me a really good deal with my trade. 🙂
I’m really glad that I brought my old F150 to Velde Ford for repair. I worried about the price before I went there, but the local independent guy wanted even more, so I got a good deal after all! Dana was real good at explaining the situation with my truck, and had only the necessary work done….no unnecessary extras.
My salesman, Dave Woodhouse, was exceptional. This was teh best car buying experience I have encountered. Thanks you.
🙂 Got great service on my 00 Mustang at Velde Ford. Tried a local indpendent that couldn’t fix the problem, but Velde’s service dept found and fixed it right away.
I have an older F150, but it has only 35,000 miles. So I took it to the local Ford dealer when it needed some engine work. It was no big deal, and Dana and the boys got it fixed in no time. Real Ford parts, too, and none of that Chinese junk on my truck.
This was my first car buying experience, and I was treated great by Mr. Woodhouse and the manager and everyone else. Thank you, Velde Ford! 🙂
This is the best truck that Ford has ever made. I love this F150! Velde Ford’s Dave Woodhouse was great to work with, too.
I haven’t always brought my car to Velde Ford, but I’m really glad that I returned to them. The other Ford dealer nearby never treated me with as much courtesy or consideration. I really appreciate Sherry’s helpfulness.
When I bought my Mustang in 2004 I wrote that I was completely satisfied with Velde Ford and in particular with Dave Woodhouse. The same holds true today. This is my 3rd purchase of a Ford vehicle since 2002. For me it’s simple; when I need a new vehicle I just get in my car and drive 60 miles north to Velde Ford, look for Dave, and know that I will be completely satisfied with the vehicle and the experience. There are 4 Ford dealers closer to me than Velde, but I always get a better deal there.
I just moved here from California, and this service department experience was so much better than we had ever experienced in CA. Dana was especially helpful in explaining the required repairs and his estimate was fair and accurate. Velde Ford is fortunate to have him in its employ.
I was given a reasonable estimate of costs to repair my vehicle, and the actual bill was even a little bit less than that. The repairs were done in a reasonable amount of time, considering how significant they were. I had even gotten a second opinion before I took my car to Velde Ford, but it wasn’t necessary since I was treated so honestly.
🙂 Buying a car from Velde Ford was the easiest, hassle-free experience. You never have to haggle or worry about getting ripped off in the numbers game like many other dealerships. This is the 6th new Ford we have bought since 2002 and as long as I can work with my salesperson Dave Woodhouse I will be back. Thanks for being honest!
Walter Hammock didn’t like my suggestion they should pay for the lug nuts because the dealship failed to include the lock wrench for custom wheels in the car when it was purchased at 21,000 miles. A tire blew and I thought maybe they would replace the Goodyear Integrities too because the car only had 31,000 miles when the 50,000 rated tire blew. So–they took the locked lug nuts off and replaced then with standards. But, I told him I wanted the original nuts and he got them and said, “I’m through with you!”
Geico paid the towing with my emergency roadside assistance but the towing company called Velde Ford and told them I hadn’t paid the towing bill. Three men from the service department surrounded me in the cashiers office in front of other customers and told me I had to pay the towing bill. They told me to speak with the towing company on the phone. I told the towing company to get organized and call Geico to confirm payment.
They were evil!! I thought they were trying to rip me off. Then, I got in the car to drive away and noticed a knocking sound. I took the car back and told Walter Hammock to drive it. He said “No!” I guess he realized his mistake and got in the car himself , drove it back into the service room. Came out and told me the brake was rubbing on the wheel and it would be just another 20 minutes.
What was wrong with those people? I guess they’re all suffering through the rough economy. Maybe they had to take a cut in pay??
