Mysteriously just up and closed the place one day… No longer in business, I say good riddance!
It was a good thing I had done my homework so it didn’t matter that NONE of the sales staff knew ANYTHING about the new 2010 SRX. The salesman was polite and tried to help but his lack of knolage of the vehicle was poor as well as ALL other sales staff.
We knew what we wanted to pay and what we wanted for options so it was pretty cut and dry. They agreed to our requests, bought us lunch, and within 3 hours we signed a lease, paid our fees and were out the door, happy and excited. All we had to do was retrun the next day and pick up the car.
WELL, NOT!!!
When we arrived we saw the car, beautiful and shinny, infront of the dealership. Nothing like a new car, what a happy day. We loaded our belongings into the car and were ready to leave when the Bubble Burst. We were wisked away by our salesman to the Financial Directors office, Anthony Zermeno.
We really thought they were going to make a nice presentation of a hat or tee shirt or something. A thank you of some type. This was a signed done deal.
Then those words we will never forget. The words that ruined it all. The words that took the moment away. The words that will keep us from ever going back to that dealer. The words that drove me to write this review.
“I’M SORRY WE MADE A MISTAKE IN THE CALCULATIONS ON YOUR CONTRACT” Our heart’s stopped……. But we were signed, paid and done. They can’t honestly want more money. OH YES THEY CAN!!!! According to them they have 72 hours to take the car back. SO, if we don’t agree to the changes, sign the new HAND WRITTEN contract, the deal is off. Take our belongings out of the car and go home. We have never felt so held hostage in our life.
It was not a great amount, it’s the principle. They knew we were loaded up and ready to go and we would have no choice in the matter. Our new shiny babby was ready and waiting.
We did sign and drive away with the happy moment gone.
SO, BUYER BEWARE, DONT GO THERE. 😮
Absolutely would advise people to stay away from this dealership!!! Our salesperson, Naomi, was completely clueless to all of our questions, wants, needs and seemed only concerned if we were qualified to buy and if we were going to buy today. To answer both…..yes, we purchased a new vehicle later that day. I guess that had I not been doing chores at home earlier that day and had taken the time to clean up and break out an Armani suit…she may have treated us with a little more sincerity and respect. Needless to say we will never return or recommend this dealership to anyone. I’m certain as a business owner myself, that this type of mentallity has filtered down from the management upon it’s salesforce. I guess over all, I found out how they conduct business prior to our purchase and for that I am pleased.
