Before I start, No, we did not get turned down for a car because of our credit. Our credit is very good. I’m just making a review based on my horror story with this hole in the wall dealership. Absolutely DO NOT go here to buy a used car. Very shady dealership with the worst taste of professionalism I’ve EVER come across my whole 42 years of buying a car. We went to test drive a car they had. We liked it but needed to think about the deal overnight. We decided to go with the deal the next morning. We spoke with our Sales person, Jeremy and he said he would take care of everything, put a sold sign on the car, and send over all the paperwork to our credit union. This was Saturday. Today is Wednesday night. My husband has left multiple messages on Jeremys voicemail with no call backs, not even from a manager, Rick I believe his name is. I called there myself and asked to speak to Rick tonight. He finally spoke with me and said he had NO PAPERWORK with our information. (Im guessing by the disgusting mess of a dealership, if that’s what you want to call the little room they work in, they might have lost it?) I left our phone number and made it very clear I expected a phone call back. They called back and said they no longer had the car. Now I’m not the person to ever leave negative reviews on places unless absolutely necessary and this was necessary. I cannot believe how UNPROFESSIONAL this dealership is. The managers excuse for not receiving a phone call back for 5 days? “Oh….well….he was sick…” Now its my turn to show some unprofessionalism…Grow some B*LLS! If I were you I would do my best to keep looking for that car you want somewhere else unless you want to waste your time, money, and energy. This place is not only a dirty little hole in the wall but the people that work there make it that much more sickening. I’m actually glad we didn’t get the car from them. I would rather invest in a dealership that’s professional and treats me like a customer should be treated these days, with respect. If I could give this place a negative review, I would, they don’t even deserve 1 star…
Our car buying experience was excellent. Our salesperson, Jeremy was extremely personable and helpful. He found us a great deal on a used Toyota and helped us secure financing. All of our expectations were met and our worries about finding a good car and good price were needless. I would definitely reccomend the dealership and Jeremy in particularly.
Mark Spinos promised me new mats for my 2006 Avalon Limited. This was back in May. Four months later…. Still waiting. Broken promises seem to be the norm for this dealership, reading other reviews. Not only will I never buy here again, i’ll make sure to tell all my family and friends. Steep price to pay for a set of new mats.
I purchased a Scion XB on Sunday Oct 4th from Mark Spinos. When my husband and I came to pick it up on Monday night as arranged Mark was not at the dealership. He had told me when I purchased the car that it would be fully aligned (it was pulling to the right on acceleration during the test drive) he also said it would have a full tank of gas and be detailed. None of these things were done. My husband and I also discovered upon inspection that there was no spare tire. We spoke with Peter (who arranged my financing) He spoke to a manager on duty and said we would be taken care of (a couple of the salesman on the floor felt that there may have been a mistake because you had a Scion XD go out the door the same day – maybe they had aligned the wrong car) Peter told us we could bring the car back and we would be given a loaner car…We needed to speak with Mark and figure out what day the spare tire would be in so it could all be done in 1 day (We live in Norwood – a long drive)I called Mark the next morning and he said the tire would be in on Thurs or Fri morning – I told him I would be there about 12:00/12:30 – he said he would have a car ready for me. I arrived at 12:33. He had not reserved me a car, there were none available. I waited for Enterprise to pick me up. I pulled out of Enterprise 1 hour later at 1:34. *Woburn Toyota is paying for the rentalWoburn Toyota has had my car for 51/2 days. I have called Mark several times and keep getting put off. I have been told they brought him the wrong spare tire. This morning I called him and he said he was going to check on the car and call me back – I never heard from him.
We traveled to Woburn Toyota based on misleading internet specials for a well equipped Rav4. We were told that the internet prices were a mistake and regardless, the vehicles we inquired about just got sold. If you are nostalgic for the game playing sales techniques of yesteryear like bait and switch than Woburn Toyota is your place. Mistakes happen but integrity and ethics go a long way in correcting mistakes. This dealership displayed neither
