Have you read the English curriculum for 12th grade stdenuts on ERWC? I incorporated current events into classical literature , but the elimination of classical literature in favor of articles is a tragedy. I retired mid year because of pressure to leave . Three different teachers came and went the seond semester so it is best to stay for the student’ ssake.
Reader,
My dealership experience began by arriving for a scheduled sales appointment with a sales associate (whom I will not name). However upon arrival, the associate was not there and I was told that he would not be in for several hours. My commute to the dealership was around two hours with traffic, so this was rather off-putting.
After being assigned another salesperson, I was shown the vehicle that I was interested in purchasing. The condition of the vehicle was not as advertised. Serious curb rash, a chunk missing out of the tire, and a poor buff job that left pad marks all over the vehicle. The vehicle was not even washed when it was pulled around. Covered in leaves, dirt, and grime. The test-drive went smoothly and the vehicle was mechanically sound.
Upon discussing a deal for my trade-in, the dealership stated that my vehicle had been modified and offered me $3,000 less than what the vehicle was appraised at. Since this vehicle was a daily driver, I questioned their claim of any “modifications”. They claimed that the exhaust was aftermarket with modifications, but could not give me specifics. I am no mechanic and have not touched the exhaust or engine since purchasing the vehicle. When questioning the manager further about the claims, I was told that he would not argue with me (in a rude tone). However, no one at the dealership could tell me what the “modifications” were. I left and was thoroughly disappointed with my experience and the lack of professionalism.
On my way home from Wellesley Toyota, I stopped at my local Toyota dealership and asked if they could take a look and validate Wellesley Toyota’s claims. The mechanics took the vehicle into the garage and returned it to me with their findings. They found no aftermarket modifications to the exhaust or engine, and were thoroughly confused by the claims. The local Toyota dealership told me that the exhaust and engine were “factory installed components.”
I end this review by saying that either the Wellesley Toyota service team has no idea how to do an appraisal on a Toyota, or they were lying to my face. Either way, I will not be returning.
Sincerely,
Michael C.
