This is review is not about the sales personnel, it concerns the service I received in the repair shop. I just bought a Toyota Rav 4 06′ from a Marion dealership, and warning lights were coming on (Check Engine, VSC, and 4Wheel Drive). My car salesman diagnosed the problem as a coil issue and sent me to CR Toyota. When I arrived at CR Toyota, I explained the problem to serviceman, Chris. I told him I had bought the car a week ago, and already there was a problem with the coil, which is triggering “warning lights” to come on the dashboard.I wanted to know how soon I could get the car in. Chris replied, “You can leave the car here or schedule for next Monday. We are booked all week.” I did not want to leave the car because I don’t have any other source of transportation and I use my car in my job. I proceeded to explain the repair cost should be covered under my warranty. Chris chose to argue with me and state, “You had better re-read your contract.” He also proceeded to wait on the gentleman behind me, in line, and did not make further eye contact with me. Chris left me standing in line, calling my car salesman, to explain that I was told the coil replacement would not be covered. I put my car salesman on the line with Chris. The outcome is that the repair cost was under warranty, however, I will not let Chris wait on me again, in the future. As a woman, I resent that my concerns are dismissed, and I am spoken to as if I don’t know what I am talking about.
