I was at Texas Toyota 3 times in the first 3 months of owning a new Rav4. The first time seemed to take care of the issue and I didn’t have another problem for over 2,000 miles. I had the car towed in mid-June when I pulled out of my garage and the car stopped working. It wouldn’t start for me, the tow truck driver or the mechanic. They didn’t know what was wrong so they put me in a rental car for the weekend. I was told the car was fixed on Monday afternoon, picked it up on Tuesday morning and on Thursday my car broke down again. It hesitated twice on me while driving on the highway to work and then stalled repeatedly in the parking lot as I was leaving work. I had to wait 3 hours for a tow truck through Roadside assistance.
Robert, the service advisor, was very nice–at first. When the car came in for the 2nd time, they couldn’t recreate the issue so he tried to blame LoJack and basically get rid of me. He had no idea how LoJack worked — asking me if someone knew my LoJack code and could have shut the car off. That’s not how LoJack works at all. He was going to make me turn in the rental car in and drive an unsafe vehicle that could have broken down at any point in time. They don’t make money off the car if they can’t figure out the issue – and that’s all they care about.
He only backed off when Toyota Corporate got involved; then let me keep the car through the weekend. They finally ‘think’ they solved the issue the following Monday. He left a voicemail that the mechanic ‘really thinks this fixed the issue’ and acted insulted when I was hesitant to pick the car up due to the repeated safety issues. I never received an apology for not fixing the problem the first time. Even when Jennifer with Customer Relations emailed to ask how things were going and I told her of my issues – she didn’t even offer a fake apology. Absolutely no integrity or commitment to safety—just another sleazy dealership.
I never lost my temper or treated anyone at Texas Toyota disrespectfully and the treatment I received in return was unacceptable. Toyota is not the quality it use to be and I’m incredibility disappointed with every aspect of this situation.
She was not pushy or rude or short. She took the time to get to where we needed to be. I would go back to her for all of our car buying needs!

Jacob did an excellent job with us. Instead of trying to make more money with high finance rate, just give people the best rate they deserve. I know my credit score and I know that my auto history score indicates a higher score, so just give the best rate first. Be honest. No bait and hook games. Be honest. Best deal up front, no games.

Excellent experience. Very happy with the car, the service, and the dealership as a whole. I have always owned Honda automobiles and this is my first Toyota purchase. I look forward to the Toyota Care program and the upcoming years with my new Toyota Camry. Thanks again.

Joe has always taken care of my needs and even came in in his day off so my repairs could be completed before I went out of town. It feels good to know that I can depend on Joe’s knowledge and honesty and will continue coming back for my service for 2005 Prius,

This was by far the best Toyota dealership I have ever been to. People were so friendly and ready to assist, waiting area was big and accommodating. I was told the service will take about 1 hour and 15 minutes and that’s exactly what I got. Great Job!

I want to tell you that working with Zane was great. At no time did I feel pressured, he explained my options, answered my questions. Without a doubt one of the most comfortable car purchases that I have made.

Greg Stubbs provides excellent customer service. Very professional staff – this was my first time bringing my vehicle to serviced. I was very impressed. Positive reference to all my co workers and family.
John was great!!! But Everyone else I don’t like
Thank you for your quick and professional level of service. The van was even detailed when I came to pick it up. The small things are greatly appreciated.
Greg Stubbs has always gone above and beyond in providing excellent service to me. He is certainly a major asset to Texas Toyota. You are blessed to have him as part of your staff. I want to personally thank Greg for the professional way he has always provided service to me.
Do not buy here if you value your time and expect customer service.
During the sales process I waited for 45 minutes while the sales people had a sales meeting. Only when I threatened to leave did they come out and give me a quote. When asked if they could offer me a competing loan quote, I said no, do not do so and do not submit a query. They did so anyway and pressed me for a long time to go with their offer.
Because I waited so long, they offered a free fill up and 5 additional oil changes beyond those included in the Toyota Care I purchased. When I went to redeem the fill-up, I was told that they would not honor their commitment.
I am now complaining to the BBB.
Was purchasing a 2011 Highlander SE and noticed before signing papers that there was a big scrape on the driver’s side mirror. They replaced it before we left the lot that day with a new one and matching color. A few days later when we needed to use the heated mirror function to remove the fog from it, we found out they had replaced it with a standard mirror without the heat. We paid for the SE that was supposed to have it. We contacted our sales rep to have the problem fixed. “We will order you a new heated mirror and have it installed for you at no charge.” Since we are not local, he ordered the mirror and had it delivered to us and then we would take it to a local Toyota service place to have it installed. We received our part but no instruction on where to go or how the install will be paid for. I called numerous times and got transferred to numerous people at the Texas Toyota of Grapevine that all told me it would be handled and they would call me back. Nothing ever got done. It has been 8 weeks now of avoiding my calls and not calling me back. Finally I called again and a rep, Sam Scarlett said that he couldn’t do anything about it and basically told me I’m on my own at this point. I am furious as to how I’ve been treated by these people. This has been one of the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE experiences I’ve ever had.
We went to Toyota of Grapevine after quite a bit of time spent researching what kind of car made sense to buy for our daughter. Since she was personally contributing 1/3 of the price from her own money, it was important that everyone was happy with the final decision. Not only did Wesley impress us with the desire to sell a car, he was genuinely interested in getting the right car and winning our business!
Texas Toyota Team is fantastic! The best, friendliest, most helpful, hard-working, patient, eager to please, cooperative team players, etc., that I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with at any dealership in 34 years of buying used/new cars in three different states! Sam Scarlett was phenomenal: so easy to talk to and to work with; great listener and communicator, provided and researched all requested info and cars to look at and test drive, extremely helpful in interacting and coordinating all individuals and info required to complete trade-in info of my daughter’s 2009 Corolla LE and really went all out! Tremendous effort/job, appreciate greatly, could not have accomplished without Sam!! Emad was very nice, helpful, polite, quick in calculations, offered good trade value for excellent condition Corolla and purchase of RAV4. Extremely sharp, quick, willing to help! Mel Soto Jr. was very friendly, engaging, talkative and outgoing — easy to talk to and work with, good multi-tasker, quick, efficient, helpful, really enjoyed him, and felt completely comfortable after his explanations about all financing info. Greatly appreciate his effort! Thank you very much for your super team and their effort!
These guys aregreat! I had an appointment scheduled but found that I had some timebefore that day and decided to stop by and see if they could take mein. They were so busy, I was sure there were going to tell me to keepmy appointment as they were too busy to fit me in without anappointment. I was surprised, not only did they fit me in, noquestions asked, but they fixed some other little items I needed doneas well. Really appreciate you guys at Texas Toyota of Grapevine.

Used sales team went to extraordinary efforts to assure out trade-in sale. They willingly considered our offers and requests, able to compromise and satisfy our needs. Service department was efficient and resourceful- completing the necessary modifications to our satisfaction. Financing was simple and without pressure to purchase additional features that we did not want. As well, financing was able to beat our personal lending choice and give a better rate. And all witing a 3 hours period!! Special thanks to Wesley Wells, Jason Ditore, Dustin Rogers, Bryan Hall, Rickie Nelson and all the mechanics in the back. Thanks again!
I had a very warm welcome from everyone. My commitment for the sale was for Alex whom I had spoken to a couple of times. She worked everything out for me die to my tight circumstances. Gianni was extremely helpful and a joy to spend time with. His family of 300 strong and going. I would love to be at their get togethers just for the food. Bryan was in high spirits at 8pm at night, whereas, I was about to pass out, which I did after I drove out of the there with my very clean and beautiful Blue Toyota Yaris 2009. Since then, as promised, I get calls each day about the car and how I like it.
Absolutely the best car buying experience I have ever had….I knew what I wanted buy and had a price in mind…I ended up paying less than expected and did not feel like I was in a high pressure sales situation like in other dealerships. Thanks to the team at Texas Toyota in Grapevine for making my purchase as easy as possible.
Exceptionally courteous, and professional
Wesley Wells was the most polite customer service sales person that my husband and I have ever encountered in such a long time… not pushy at all, very understanding to out needs and her really listened to what we wanted and what we could afford. Very professional at all times. Soto in the finance department was very understanding and very helpful to our needs we had on the financial side of the transaction. We at one pont met Mel’s supervisor- Dustin who was exceptionally courteous, and professional in helping us to make out transaction a smooth and painless one. We will be loyal to Texas Toyota in the future upon serving our vehicle and in future purchases to come.
The sales experience was great. We are very happy with Amanda . Out salesman Mark did a great job finding exactly what we wanted and the sales manager Pete handles the negotiation perfectly. I felt her was upfront and honest the entire time. I really enjoyed everyone at the dealership. They were so helpful and I will definitely recommend this dealership to all my friends and family.
I didn’t come to buy a vehicle but a certain one caught my interest. I was very clear they would need to make the offer very compelling for me to buy. They came close enough so I bought. Wes was my sales guy but I also dealt with Dustin. Overall not a bad experience – these guys seem to be genuine and care.
Somewhat frustrated on the amount of time it took to get small things done during the sales and delivery process but eventually everything was addressed. Better organization on their part would help.
The Service department has been good to deal with thus far. I am always skeptical when it comes to dealerships – either Sales or Service – so it’s always buyer beware. However, I like to give the opportunity for them to earn my trust. So far so good.
I will never do business with this dealership again. They sold me a defective vehicle and refused to fix it. We came to an agreement. I paid for the initial repair and they agreed to repay me $150 towards my repair costs. It’s been two weeks now and they still haven’t reimbursed me the $150 and they are refusing to mail me my license plates, which they promised to do two weeks ago, with the check. I am now in violation of Texas Law, driving on an expired temporary plate. I called a manager there, Chris Grady, and was explaining my frustration at having to call repeatedly for the past two weeks, promises (of delivery) broken, calls not returned, mis-information…
in short, THE RUN AROUND and this…manager started giving me attitude over the phone which I did not need to hear today. Even if they keep my $150, why would they refuse to send me my license plates? I’m tired of dealing with this headache. I wish I never heard of Texas Toyota of Grapevine.
I personally worked at this dealership for years before Chris Grady came along. In my opinion , he ruined the employees moral and I quit because of his so called management techniques. I know several mechanics who have been threatened for failing used car certifications. Texas Toyota ( Chris Grady ) does not like to spend money on vehicles to meet the inspections requirements. Instead they make the mechanics rig or mask the problems just to sell the car. I would never recommend buying a car and most of their employees would tell you the same thing. Vandergriff Toyota on the other hand handles business very professionally and I do recommend them. Texas Toyota tried to finance me a new carolla when I worked there for almost 20 % and Vandergriff got me under 6%.
Can you send me your email plz. I have a question and maybe you can help
I’ve had the same awful experience as you. The give you the runaround, pass you off to someone else, never return your calls, and when you finally can talk with someone who can actually do something they just give you a big middle finger.
