I went in wanting to see if I could get a lower payment and still wanted a Kia Soul as I currently have. Didn’t think it would happen but they worked and worked and got it down to a price I could work with and I shook hands with 2 people and I was given the keys to put on my key ring.
After being there for 2-1/2 hours and signing much paperwork, I’m then told that they calculated what I still owe on my car wrong and they were off by $2500!! There was no apology or attempt to work it out, just a “I need the key back” and a “see ya.” Thanks for getting my hopes up guys and then crushing them.
A bad end to a bad year. 2016 can only be better and I will stick with Fred Martin. THEY know how to treat people right and with respect!!!!!
I AM DISGUSTED WITH THE TREATMENT MY DAUGHTER AND I GOT THERE.WE WERE SWARMED BY THESE PERVERT SALESPEOPLE AND SHE FELT VERY UNCOMFORTABLE.THE SALES MANAGER MITCH PASQUERELLA CAME OVER AFTER WE TOOK DELIVERY AND ASKED MY DAUGHTER FOR A HUG!!!WHAT AN ASSHOLE.HE APOLOGISED AND EXPLAINED TO ME HE WAS AFTER ALL GOING THROUGH A DIVORCE.I WAS SPEECHLESS. I TOLD HIM I WAS GOING TO COMPLAIN TO THE DEALER AND HE TOLD ME TO GO AHEAD IT IS HIS COUSIN.NEVER AGAIN.
This person does not exist and has never been to Bill doraty Kia, please remove this fraudulant review immediately and report the I.P address so this person can be prosecuted. James Axiosteen never was at this dealership and has NOT purchased a car from them.

I saw an ad on tv that said $7000 off. It wasn’t $7000 off they laid to us and when I got there they tried to witch me to something that i don’t like. Sales man was rude, lier, treated me bad, and no product knowledge. Not recommand anybody to a car from this place. I do you’ll be sorry.
After seeing an ad on TV I decided to call the dealership and inquire. I spoke to a sales person Carol Crandall who in a plesant voice invited us out to see what we could do. Unfortunately my wife and I had recently filed bankruptcy and I really didn’t expect to be able to buy a car. In spite of that our sales person took all the info and submitted it for us to purchase a new Soul. After several attempts at several banks we were getting nowhere. I had resolved to the fact that we just could not buy a car at this time. Upon overhearing our problems the floor mgr intervened. He suggested that he talked to Bill Doraty the owner of the dealership in hopes of getting us approved, and he did just that. Within 10 minutes he got an approval with a payment we could afford. The whole staff was some of the most honest and friendly people I’ve ever met. This was one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. This dealership fought for us and we won.
Went on line. Got a call within mins. Drove to Medina from greater Cleveland suburb. After 1 hour drove off in my new Kia (They went to another dealer to get the color I wanted) The salesman, service staff and all others I have delt with are beyond professional.
I went to Bill Doraty because of their up to $7000 off! Commercial. I thought hmmm I can work with that. I just wanted to look at the cars… Look does not equal want to buy right this second! I park my car and they approach you right away… I told them I was just there to look at the Soul. Instantly I was asked to hop into a golf cart and was driven to the “roof”. I liked a color then the guy rushed to the front of the car and said lets get started! Really?! Where does it take less than 10 minutes to decide on at car!? But then again it’s not your thousands of dollars being spent. Anyway… I looked at the blue book price, befor I left to even look at cars. The value ranged from $7,500 to $10,000… They offered me $6,500… When I asked why it was so low, I was told oh we use a black book and that’s what came up. Oh. Solo I go home and look up this black book which valued my car even higher than e blue book! With that being said… They are pushy, they come off as two faced… And want to screw you over on your trade in. I get… it they need to make money on your car, but don’t act like you care and then cut someone’s throat. No thank you.
Bill Doraty dealership will make sure you buy a car whether you can afford it or not. The dealership has hired a person with a criminal background. I located this person on Medina Court Release “Most Wanted” list. It was posted that this person had a suspended driver’s license, and previoius convictions for: improper handling of firearms, carrying a concealed weapon, aggrevated burglary, attempted abduction, and aggrevated assualt. Is this the type of person you would like to take a test drive with?

The sales person that I had was Mike Harb, and he was a World Class Sale Rep. I had an awesome expierience, great service and best of all is someone that you can Trust. I have a trade in wanted to purchase the 2010 Forte that was on the internet special. My husband and I was there and delt with Tom Walls. Drove the car liked it allot. He wrote everything up and they were only give me $6000 for a 2007 car excellent condition. Tom Walls said this is Auction Price. I mention Kelly Blue Book and NADA, they only go with average auction price. Other dealers would give me more for my car, but I saw the deal on the Forte. Then our Salesman a gentleman came in to see him. We heard him say I have a customer. He came over and said we are waiting to hear back from the bank. He went outside with this guy and was showing him his truck. They were outside almost 1/2 while we were waiting. I wanted to get up and leave. We did not appreciate this kind of service. I heard comments from a friend of mind he goes there I can’t wait to tell him about the service we received.
Low trade in value… Looks like a trend. And I was left alone for over an hour until it was time for everyone to go home. Then I was asked to leave and “we will call you in the morning.” they never did.
After my experience, I have trouble relating to these other reviews. Bill Doraty is nothing but a class act. I am a young college grad and I went to Bill Doraty for a new car. I went with a GM used car, and it acted just like GM’s do, terrible! It was outside of the warranty and Bill Doraty took care of my situation himself. I am not saying he gives away his service and repairs, but he stands behind his product.
For the rest of my life, I will only buy from Bill Doraty.

It jeopardized my family’s safety everytime we got into it. Bill refuses to return calls and then lies and says he has when you see him at the shop. With car industries going to hell, Doraty Kia will sure be one of the first on the list.

While I was fairly certain I wanted a Kia, I really wish I had gone somewhere else.
To date, I’ve had unresolved problems with my remote start, loan paperwork, and the service staff couldn’t possibly care less about service.
I’ve been involved in 4 car purchases within the last 5 years, either for myself or as a co-borrower, and the comedy of errors and downright ignorance displayed at Bill Doraty Kia is going to serve as the barometer for how bad a car buying experience can ever be.

We bought 2 cars at once. One was used and had problems and we did not feel safe. They told us after we made the first payment they would take the car back and give ue every dime back on another car. Well when it was time they said we would have to wait about 2 years. Dont trust there word.
I was at Bill Doraty Kia and the respect for customers was horrible. I was there to get my car serviced and a lady was yelling at another girl that was answering the phones. She could of did this behind close doors but instead the lady decided to embrassed the girl. Did the lady not realize that there was customers there hey it was after 9:00 in the morning? Do you think anyone said anything to the customers about the noise? No they didnt say anything. This isnt the first time that I have been in there and heard the employees disagreeing. I understand that there will be disagreements but come on in front of the customers is not right. GROW UP
I purchased a 2005 Kia Optima from Bill Doraty in 2010, I had bad credit, they were able to get me financed however this past summer I went to another dealer and found out that the extended warranty the finance guy told me I had to purchase in order to get approved thru a secondary loan company, was a total lie. after emailing the dealer thru their web site, I received no response what so ever. I contacted Kia, and they said it’s not there problem. their dealers are run independently, even though it’s Kia’s product. finally I talked to Kia rep on the phone and she put me in a conference call with the General Manager at Bill Doraty, he was rude, disrespectful, and a complete bully who only wanted to hear himself talk. even the rep from Kia was appalled at his behavior. If this the way Kia and their dealers treat customers, they will never see me as a customer again…
