Stay away. Would give this place negative stars if possible:
1)Lie: Lied about when we get our car – it never came. Came up with every excuse possible, oftentimes contradicting themselves. Their response to this will contain lies.
2)Cheat: Charged unnecessary fees – other dealer got us the same car for $2000 less
3)Steal: Cashed our check and never delivered a vehicle. Made us wait 3 weeks to get a refund check.
Enough said.
In short: The salesperson provided figures on an Accord which the general manager refused to honor by offering a higher monthly payment, and claiming it was due to some vague calculations which he refused to explain.
Via e-mail, the salesperson quoted numbers (MSRP, adjusted cap, residual and money factor). I calculated a monthly payment by putting these figures through the standard leasing formula. Meanwhile, the general manager quoted me a monthly payment, which was more than $25 higher than the figures quoted by the salesperson came to.
I asked the general manager to clarify how his quote was derived from the salesperson’s numbers. His responses were evasive and misdirecting. He somehow was only able to explain if I were to come in (I live two hours from the dealership).
He refused to honor the salesperson’s figures. He pressured me by claiming that he had only 7 Accord EX-Ls left, when in fact the dealership’s online inventory and another source showed over 20. I advised him that I could not continue the deal, since it was apparent he wasn’t negotiating in good faith.
My advice:
–avoid this dealership
–research the lease process and the dealer (there are numerous resources online)
–communicate via e-mail, or insist on written communication so you have documentation
–check even what seems like a great deal
