We bought a certified X5 that was still under the factory warranty. We live in Denver so everything was done over the phone or via email. Arman was great at returning my calls and e-mails, once they received the check and the car was delivered it was next to impossible to get in touch with anyone.
There is a certain peace-of-mind that comes with purchasing a certified BMW… not the case when it comes from Beverly Hills BMW.
As soon as we got the X5 I noticed that there were a few things wrong or missing, such as;
-Four of the eight air vents were missing control tabs.
-Steering wheel was missing two sections of stitching and coming undone.
-Crack in glove box wood trim.
-Third row seat belt catch was missing.
-Logo on drivers door falling off.
-Center partitions in engine compartment broken.
-Door panels all had broken brackets (from cheap window tint removal).
-Stitching on driver’s seat coming undone.
Being that it was certified and still under warranty I took it into my local BMW dealership, they told me that all these items should have been reconditioned during the certification process. Beverly Hills BMW would have to be the dealership to take care of these items.
That was 3 months ago, I’ve asked BMW North America to try and help get this resolved but Beverly Hills will not return their calls or e-mails either.
Lastly, our salesman Arman, agreed to give us the latest version of the navigation DVD. He told us that he had personally loaded it into the dash so it would be ready for us. Turns out the navigation DVD in the dash was from 2007.
After (2) years of dash display hell, with my 2002 BMW X5 4.4i, i.e. no sport seat memory, no tilt steering wheel adjustments, key remote did not work & dash displays showed check rear lights, check brake lights constantly. Burbank’s Pacific BMW was NO HELP, except for their Accessories Dept. which is FANTASTIC, THANK YOU “ANA & MARTHA!” William the service Rep. failed to return calls in a timely manner, i.e. next day or 3hrs later, and had nothing but excuses. The Service Mrg, “Terri” never returned my call. The Bimmer Clinic, Reseda, CA, “Nice Folks.” were unable to fix my problem, they tried & were very professional, Thanks George. I went on-line at 2:00am and was able to get a next day appt. with Sheldon Plilip-Guide and Sarkis Keheyan. These Service Reps from Beverly Hills BMW, were 1st CLASS in every respect, and because of them and an excellent Service Dept, I shall always return. I highly recommend Beverly Hills BMW.
