We got in and were treated very well. It was a cold day you all should offer coffee ect early. But anyhow . We have never ever been able to buy a brand new car off any lot ever. Our credit never seemed good enough. But the Don Weir team got us financed and we now have a car we can keep for many years to come. Thank you team for giving a family a chance to own a brand new car . For anyone walking away grumbling about this lot . Try walking on a lot and walking off feeling completely humiliated. Thank you Reno dodge for giving a family with sub prime credit a chance. Much love to you all . The Trottot family.
I have never in my life seen a more cut throat bunch of assholes. I walked straight out.
I literally pulled into the parking lot and wanted to leave after feeling completely fought over like a piece of meat.
I wanted to test drive some cars before being tied down to anything…I’m not going to buy a damn car without SEEING it first. I have never been more annoyed in my life….
Who does a credit check on a person for a loan before they cement that they want to purchase? I don’t want to purchase a car I haven’t driven, or even SEEN. The dealer at one point hands me a credit check form and says,”I’m assuming we’re close to a deal since you’re filling it out” UMM…a deal on fucking WHAT!? I haven’t even seen what you have in stock.
You people need to get your heads out of your asses and remember that we’re there doing YOU a favor by purchasing a car..we don’t have to buy a car from you…you need to kiss MY ass and give me what -I- want. it’s not about how awesome you are at sales…it’s how happy you make your customer.
My advice is fire the staff and start over.
I took my ranger in under service contract because there was a slight jump when I was stopped and started again. Dodge told me that my engine mounts and rear leaf springs needed to be replace. I decided to go to NV Diagnostics because they had a good rating on the internet. Boy am I glad I did. They found out with talking to other repair shops and comparing notes that this is a normal issue with the Ranger. They lubed some parts which made it a lot better. Because of going elsewhere I saved about $1000 in unnecessary repairs. I will not trust Reno Dodge service center in the future.
MY 2007 DODGE PICKUP STARTED SMOKING,SO I HAD IT TOWED IN TO RENO DODGE AND THEY CALLED ME TO SAY IT WAS GOING TO BE 1800 DOLLARS TO FIX THE TRUCK,,IT TURNED OUT THAT FOR NO REASON THE CATALYTIC CONVERTOR GOT HOT AND MELTED THE SHIFT CABLE, PLUS BEN TOLD ME THAT AN ABS SENSOR WAS BAD,AND THAT I HAD A BROKEN SHOCK,AND THAT I NEEDED A 580.00 DOLLAR TUNE UP,AND A FUEL SYSTEM FLUSH 246 ,AND A NEW STARTER CABLE(100.00),AND A 250 SPARK PLUG CHANGE,, SO I HAD THEM PUT ON THE SHIFT CABLE 420.00DOLLARS SO I COULD DRIVE THE TRUCK TO ANOTHER SHOP,AND THEY DID ALL THE REPAIRS FOR ABOUT HALF AS MUCH,,THE PROBLEM WAS A FUEL INJECTOR STICKING WHICH IS COVERED UNDER MY EXTENDED WARRANTY,PLUS I HAVE THE LIFETIME WARRANTY WHICH COVERS JUST ABOUT NOTHING!! I HAVE CONTACTED THE BBB AND A LOCAL LEGAL ADVOCATE,WHICH HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH RENO DDGE BEFORE,,,LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!,JIM
Before arriving, I did my homework on value of my trade in and cost of the vehicles I might want. Surprisingly, they offered a TMV amount for my car. However, they jacked up the price of the vehicles.
I refused the offer and left on friendly terms. The sales and finance guys were friendly enough with the normal level of sales pressure. They did use the time-wasting tactic by having me wait around a few times, leaving to “attend to something important.” This is a way to try to make a customer feel inferior and goad them into trying to please the sales and finance people by buying.
Obviously, it works, unless you hold an advanced degree in behavioral psychology. I played with them, since I had time to kill, by giving several false starts and indicators to think they made the sale. Yes, I like to psychologically punish people who misbehave.
In summary: Do Your Homework before going here, and you can avoid being ripped off (which means taken for more than the car you want is really worth). If you don’t get a fair deal, just get out of there!
I had to get some work done on my truck in a hurry because I was going out of town. I called Reno Dodge and they said to come down as soon as I could and they would look at the problem. I was in and out of there within the hour! I couldn’t believe it they were so accessible and friendly and made my trip worry free! I would recommend that if you need any work done on you vehicle to take it to Reno Dodge!
I have bought cars from Reno Dodge for several years and my expectations just keep being exceeded. They have the best performance by any dealership that I have dealt with by far. The staff is very helpful and understood the product inside and out. They really stand by their motto “you talk, we listen” they helped us find just what we needed. We didn’t feel as if we were under pressure from the time that we walk into the dealership to the time our vehicle was delivered. The finance department worked very hard to get us the best deal possible. I would recommend this dealership to any one looking to by a new or used vehicle.
