Step 1. Buy a used certified vehicle
Step 2. See it start to have issues in the first 1000 miles
Step 3. Look at warranty paperwork and see the finance guys sneaks in a $100 deductible per visit. No heads up and not obvious on the paperwork. Very small print. Beware.
Step 4. Take in for service and find that the car you had for 3 months has a $2000 repair bill and will be in the shop for over a week. Thank goodness I bought the warranty.
Step 5. Have everyone at the dealership service dept barely make eye contact for fear they may have to help you with something, much less be forthcoming with any information that may help you.
Step 6. Call ahead and tell them when you will be there and still wait an hour for a loaner car.
Step 7. Recall the finance guy said you will have a Volvo loaner since you bought this super duper warranty.
Step 8. Drive off in an Avenger with 47,000 miles that smells like Archy Bunker and family just took it for a 2 week road trip. Oh, we said Volvo loaner? We meant any POS we can dig up.
Step 9. Cxl 2 work meetings because I had to wait so long while most people working there walked around talking to anyone but a customer.
Step 10. Realize that my current Lexus, past BMW’s and Acura’s dealers never treated me this way.
Step 10. Conclude I will sell this car ASAP, for a loss likely, to get away from this experience.
Car was in for maintenance and returned with a ding/scratch… down to the metal! They looked at ding/scratch and even showed where in their service area it had happened, fully admitting their mistake. Was told a paint person would come to our home to fix it, then told it had to be brought back in… leaving me to wonder, WHY AM I HAVING TO TAKE TIME TO FIX THEIR MISTAKE? On a roll now, they then underestimated the time it would take, causing a missed Doctor appointment. Never offered a loaner and when asking about one, was told it was almost ready… 40 minutes later, finally got my car. And for the finale… Complained to service manager and was told, “I wouldn’t have scheduled two things in one day.”
How do you know they did it???? I think you just assumed they did because they were the last one’s to touch it, You probally parked in a parking lot and got hit by someone and then blamed it on the service department. I hate people like you who slander companies for gain, You don’t know they did it and then they offer to fix it and you slame them that is horrible, What comes around goes around. When you have some bad luck and wonder why well it’s karma,

First of all, I am very particular and know every little nick on my vehicle, of which there were 2 when I brought it in to the dealer.. Secondly, the ding was the same light blue color and height as the poles in between bays at the dealer. And the service agent, who argued at first on the phone, admitted guilt when I came back and showed him in the bay where my door hit the blue post. But thanks for jumping to conclusions.
BTW, they did admit fault and ”fixed” it… paint doesn’t match, as expected. Happy they owned up to their mistake, but not happy it occured in the first place, that they took so long to rectify the problem. Posted this not to be vindictive, but to help inform consumers. If you’re so confident it is my misunderstanding, I’ll happily give you their info. and you can give them your business, bringing mine elsewhere.
Ya, but they fixed it and made good on there committment and you still slander them. That’s not fair. Shit happens no one purposly damages someone property. The next time there is a national disaster go ahead and post a bad review on GOD.
I was just stating the facts. Isn’t that what this sight is for, to inform other consumers. They didn’t take care of the situation to my satisfaction. Lied to me a couple of times, made me wait about a month to get it repaired at the shop after promising me that the paint guy would come to my house, and then the paint guy showed up late at the shop and took twice as long as I was told, causing me to miss another appointment. I wasn’t happy with my experience there and will not go back. You may feel free to use them if you wish. I’m sure all will be fine. Just consider yourself warned.
And for a good review, Sanderson Volvo in north Phoenix has been wonderful since I started going there. No problems, great service and nicer facilities.
