Brought my Optima in for “Know” issues and repairs. They kept the car for a week, when I picked it up it shimmied, vibrated, ideled like a stock car and had exhaust issues, all of which it do not have prior to bringing the car in to get fixed.
Returnd with the car, Sat. 17 Sept. 2011 took a test drive with “Gill” because “Josh” the mechanic was not there. Gill said that these symptoms were normal and to drive the car for a few days and it would get better….dive…the…car…a few..days…and..it would…get… better…. REALLY??? WOW!!!!
Took the car back Monday 19 sept 2011.
Waited from 0800-1300 then was told to make an appointment and come back later.
$1,500.00 plus in repair costs and my car runs worse then when it was dropped off at this rip-off place. Avoid this place like the plague and do not ever take your vehicle there to get repaired.
I signed the papers for my new Sedona and I had pointed out the swirl marks on the vehicle and dirt on the floor mats and was told it would be shined and cleaned when I came by to pick it up the next day. I was also told the whole vehicle would be checked and ready to go. I asked about the maintenence schedule and was told oil changes, occasional replacement of certain aparts over the course of the warranty all standard stuff. However the next day the car was still dirty, and I was told to bring it by sometime and they would shine it up, never happened. I tried the A/C 5 days after buying it and it didn’t work. I took it in and they said it didn’t have freon in it. They come off the boat that way and the dealer has to install it. So much for everything being checked out before it left the dealership. The only thing they completely checked was the one I gave them to buy the car. Over 2 thousand dollars in “scheduled maintenance” before it hit 60,000. Most of the 2000 plus was labor. It never broke down because everything was replaced. No that does not include 3 sets of tires. I have never recieved a follow up call on any of the work or even when I bought the car. Look, they are not bad…it’s just that they’re not good. In my opinion your time and money will better spent at a different dealership. But as they say on TV..your mileage may vary. So, here’s the lesson…the next time I needed to buy a vehicle I didn’t shop for a car I shopped for a dealer. It worked great. Try it.
This is my second Kia that I have bought from Parsons Kia. I would recommend anyone who is in the market for a new car visit Parsons Kia.
Great Dealership. I was treated very nice and no pressure. I returned 3 times before I actually purchased the Sorento. I would highly recommed Parsons to everyone. Everytime I was at the dealership I had someone talk with even though they were busy. I never felt like I was pushed aside. Great buying experience! 🙂
WENT IN FOR SEVERAL PROBLEMS W/ NEW KIA 2007 CAR, KNEW WHAT PROBLEMS WERE WHICH SHOULD BE NONE CONSIDERING IT SHOULD NOT BE HAVING PROBLEMS FOR THE 4TH TIME!!! TOOK 1 WEEK FOR THEM TO GET BACK TO ME ABOUT MY CAR AND DID UNAUTHORIZED MAINTAINCE.AND TOOK MY CAR APART W/OUT MY KNOWLEDGE! WHEN CONFRONTED LISA (SERVICE MANAGER) LIED AND SAID I GAVE HER PERMISSION! WHEN CONFRONTED ABOUT HER LYING SHE WAS RUDE CURSED @ ME AND HUNG UP! BAD BUSINESS ETHICS! WATCH OUT DONT GO HUGE RIP OFF! TAKE YOUR CAR ANYWHERE ELSE!
You cannot blame service for a LEMON! KIA & PARSONS DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT! DAVE THE GM IS WORTHLESS & COULD CARE LESS IF YOUR NEW CAR IS A LEMON!
AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP & MAKE OF CAR UNLESS YOU WANT TO SPEND THE REST OF YOUR TIME WITH CAR IN THE SHOP & A TOTAL HEADACHE. IN THE MONTH OF MARCH 2010 I HAD MY NEW CAR FOR 3 DAYS OUT OF THE MONTH- 2 DAYS IT DID NOT RUN CORRECTLY!!
KIA IS A NIGHTMARE!!:(
:mad:Well, I have had my Kia in over the past 3 years with a transmission complaint…(owend the car since 2006) Each time I was told “nothing” is wrong. Well, yes there was.. I had to have the Transfer case replaced. This got done.. only to have the transmission not work upon the case replacement. my care has a shimmy at 65mph .. I would not only NOT recommend this dealership.. but not recommend their service Department. Buy a HONDA…
