I called on the phone after reading excellent reviews on the Ford Fusion. I asked for a salesperson and Ernesto answered. We settled on a time for me to come in and he was there waiting when I got there. He showed me some vehicles, then offered a test drive. There was no trade so the deal was pretty simple. I felt no pressure, he was considerate of my time and fair in his dealings. He did have to run out and talk to a manager every five minutes like most placed I have bought from before.
I was well satisfied and would definitely go back again. Everyone I met was nice, friendly and helpful. I have since been back for regular maintenance and have been well pleased with the Service also.
My elderly mother bought a 2000 chevy S10 from this dealership last October. The truck is SHOT. The brakes are shot, the transmission is shot, the radiator is full of rusty black water therefore runs hot constantly, just to name a few….. now the alternator has gone bad so it broke down with us once again. This truck was sold for over $6000.00 with 110,000 some odd miles on it. She purchased a silver warranty for $2000 financed in with the payments, with a $100 deductible. She took the truck to the service department more than once explaining all that was wrong with it….they told her the radiator wasn’t covered , nor the brakes, but the transmission was, but they would have to take it to Herndon Chevy to have them repair or replace it. After about a week, the truck was back and my mother went to pick it up….not only was she charged the $100 deductible but an additional $200 for “something extra Herndon had to do with transmission” yet…no invoice showing the work that was done on transmission…a couple of weeks later…transmission is whining again and jumping in 2nd gear. When she called, she was told that she would have to take it back to Herndon Chevy beause that is who worked on it and it would cost her another $100 to bring it back for them to look at it. Anyway…last weekend truck broke down with us again due to the alternator dieing….had ben satcher tow it in to their service department. We were unaware that the warranty had expired due to the mileage. To make a long story shorter, we tried contacting Ben sSatcher Jr. (owner of dealership) about the trouble we had with the truck, and the condition truck was in when purchased, etc. but he is no longer there. We ended up talking with general manager, L.H. Fallaw today about the whole situation. He was BY FAR the biggest asshole I have met in a long time. He was NO help, he was RUDE, he literally SMIRKED at me an mother and even raised his voice to us. We tried to explain to him we DID take the truck to be repaired these times and told them what was wrong and they didn’t repair it. When I showed him that some of the stuff that he/they said wasn’t covered under the silver warranty…was actually covered…he made no comment. After we left his office we went to the service department to pay the towing charge and they charged us a diagnostic charge. We asked to see the paper work from the diagnostic test and they struggled to find something, then service manager was called in and told us ‘well….there really isn’t nothing on paper..just …it needs an alternator and battery” (well we knew that already) My mother asked for the invoice work order from where they or Herndon Chevy supposedly repaired the transmission the other month. The clerk said it may take her a while to find that…so my mom said for her to just mail it to her. I would not recommend anyone buying a used vehicle from this dealership, the used vehicles are obviously junk and are not serviced and repaired before they are sold to the public and the manager/staff is extremely rude and does not care whether they have your business or not.
