Three home runs out of three. Buying a car there was so enjoyable. The salesman and finance department were very helpful and forthcoming.
This was the MOST wonderful car buying experience and I’m 67 yrs old. Eveyone I delt with was so ineterested in finding me the right car. They went above and beyond professional and expected . The car I purchased is wonderful. They explained all my questiins without making me feel uninformed. Sam went above and beyond in the financing. I will recomend this dealership to anyone that will listen. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!! God Bless all of you.
went to Olathe Ford to trade in a 2010 truck with 11000 miles, vehicle is spotless, looked at a 2009 F-150 used, salesman offered me $5000 below blue book for my vehicle, Asked if he would come down any on their vehicle answer was NO , then told me to take my vehicle and put it on Craigslist, when it sells come back and talk to him, didnt want my trade in on their lot.
Oh, this would have been the 12 vehicle I would have purchsed from them within 28yrs.thats a vehicle every other year, i guess there is no room for loyal customers at Olathe Ford, sales must be so goo they turn customers away.
They are extremely professional and went way beyond the call of duty to make sure I found the truck that I wanted.
This was my first brand new truck and wanting everything to be perfect, I contacted 4 Ford dealers. Sherry was the first one to get back to me and the only one to give me straight answers. I love my new F150!
This was an excellent experience. New cars have grown very complex and my salesperson and his manager made sure I understood what I as getting and that I could operate all the electronics.
I hate buying a car, but shopping at Olathe Ford really wasn’t bad. Frank responded quickly and honestly to my questions. I checked enough other dealers, that I do know that I got a good deal.:)
These folks were great. I actually had fun selecting and buying my car. I was afraid that my interest rate was going to be through the roof, but I got good financing.:)
We visited Olathe Ford in September, shopping for a used car for our daughter. We had a limited budget and were afraid of the quality we could afford. Our salesman got the used car manager involved and he knew of a Buick that had just been traded in. It was just being inspected and we were taken back to see it while it was being reviewed. The mechanic told us what he was finding, that they were replacing the brakes and a bad tire, but it was otherwise quite sound.
The car has run perfectly and we couldn’t be happier. We will be returning to buy a new Ford in the Spring.
So sorry that you made an error and checked that you would not recomend the dealership. It is clear in your review that you would highly recomend the dealer.
Our salesperson was new and seemed to know almost nothing about the options on a Ford Escape. We had to weed through the information ourselves from what we read on the internet and try to match that to the cars. We did tell them that the car was going to be used for a long commute as well as long trips.
We purchased a car that day which was a mistake. We drove the car but had not noticed it had no cruise control. I honestly didn’t even think that was a possibility in an 08 Escape. Also, the satellite button we found out is there for no reason. It is not adaptable for our Sirius radio. We were in a bit of a rush and realize it was our fault, but they were very cold when I asked if we could make a change. We realized this within less then 24 hours but the manager basically said it wasn’t his problem. They offered to add cruise at cost for us but after looking into it the cost included all labor and was more than I was charged to do it through a separate Ford Dealership. After being told that he would do nothing about it I told him that we just would go elsewhere in the future. He raised his voice at me and said that it wasn’t his problem.
Again, I realize it is my own fault, but would have been willing to pay a fair amount for a different car. We bought the car for the price mainly but wish would would have gone elsewhere. I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
When the weather started getting cold, I really wanted to get remote start. I called a couple of dealers and Olathe Ford had the best deal! The new car manager arranged for me to have remote start. My service technician, Mike, showed me all the details on my new, convenient feature. Everything about my experience was positive! And today, it’s still cold and I love having a warm car to welcome me in the morning! Plus, when it gets hot this summer, if I don’t have the top down, I’ll have the A/C cooling down my car so I can enter the cool zone! Thanks, Olathe Ford! I’ll be in for an oil change soon!
I went to Olathe Ford in 2003 when gas prices started going up. I went unprepared and on a whim. I wanted to get rid of my SUV and get something more economical.
So I drove my Escape down to Olathe Ford and test drove a Ford Focus. It had all the options I wanted on it and it got pretty good gas mileage. So I go in and talk to this guy, older man, has since retired or just quit, who knows. So I give him the keys to my Escape. His people go out and look it over and I dont hear anything from them on the value of the car.
So we sit down and he doesnt want to talk numbers or values or anything he just wants me to follow him to the finance manager then I dont see or hear from him again until I’m walking out the door to my over price $18,000.00 Focus that I had asked to pay only $13,000.00 for.
My 2nd encounter with Olathe Ford was going there for service work on my car. As usual my “warranty” that I paid an extra $300.00 for wasn’t a bumper to bumper warranty. Turns out it was only powertrain. Of course when they lie to you and say it’s all in the fine print, but of course you dont have time to read it.
I will never ever go back to them and after reading several of these other reviews I don’t think I’ll ever buy another car again from anyone because of the shady business practices and unscrupulous sales tactics and lies of car dealers. Who needs that kind of headache. As a consumer I want the best bang for my buck and fool me once shame on me. There will be no twice or 3rd time for you at all.
I dont care if the car companies and car dealers go out of business. They have no one to thank but themselves.
I accidently hit the “would recommend” when in fact I would NOT, NEVER, NO WAY, ever recommend these people. Do NOT buy a car from this people.
