Everyone I spoke to was rude, and they are not true to their word. They lie. I would NOT recommend this dealership to anyone.
I saw a used 4runner on craiglist that I was interested in buying. Called and spoke with a salesperson, Mike, who couldn’t make any decisions in terms of pricing. Was eventually handed off to Randy, general manager. We negotiated a deal. Called back the next day- no Randy, no Mike. I wanted to make plans to drive the 250 miles to purchase the car. Receptionist put me through sales and whoever answered the phone said they were “too busy to talk with me right now”. Could I calll back? This was off-putting as a customer looking to spend $20,000+. I did, however, call back and was transferred to Richard. I found him to be condescening, and by the end of the conversation, he had managed to insult my socioeconomic status. In subsequent days, I continued searching for a 4runner that would meet my criteria. On Saturday and with some cajoling from the man in my life, I called back and asked to speak with Randy. He was back at work after his two days off. We discussed the deal that had been negotiated earlier in the week. Randy said he would stick by the price we had settled on and he put me on hold so Mike could make the final transaction. I gave Mike all my information- address, ss#, etc. and my credit was approved. I hurried to get a one-way car rental and make arrangements to leave early the next morning. At 6:15pm, just 45 minutes before the dealer closed, Mike called to say they had sold the car. Needless to say, I was disappointed and frustrated. On Sunday morning I called to speak with the general manager, Randy. I told him of my dissatisfaction as a customer and that I had wasted money on an unneccessary one-way, expensive car rental. He claimed to have sold the car closer to their asking price (which is 3000 above kelley blue book), and he wanted to know what I would have done in his position. Though I am not a used carsalesman, I would hope that I would keep my word despite the possibiliy of an extra $2000. But, hey, times are hard. Now, one week later, imagine my suprise at seeing the exact same 4runner back on craigslist posted just today. Huh. Strikes me as dishonest.
