So on April 3rd we purchased a Jeep from Dick Hannah Jeep in Vancouver. We already knew which vehicle we wanted, had the price worked out with them and all we had to do was show up take a look and get down to paperwork. We have done this type of purchase before and we meet with the person at the dealership that we had worked out the plan. We were assured that the vehicle would be there when we came in at our appointed time. When we arrived we were saddled with Mandy. Yes saddled, why that description? Because she doesn’t know her product or her inventory. After a while they were able to locate the vehicle that had been discussed. Mike Findlay pretty much begged us to provide a 10 on their review. We did mostly because at that time they had “fixed” the issues. We were told that it would take a bit to receive plates. That we would receive plates. On May 17 Mandy called to see how things were going. We inquired of plates. She asked us to hang on. She returned after checking and said oh your plates are in. That is not helpful. We paid $30 for a secondary temporary plate waiting for ours to arrive. Yet they had been at the dealership. No one called to alert us to the receipt at the dealership. My job is one that on occasion we are too busy for me to make a trip over the border. They do not care. They say they don’t mail them. Well, at least they should provide a phone call alerting us to the fact that they are in. At least they should return our calls when they say they will have to get back to us. You know customer service. They on the other hand just want to move cars. They cannot follow through. They admit to a disconnect between Internet sales and actually picking up the vehicle. Yet they don’t fix it. I give them a -2. They clearly are not interested in return customers and at this point not worth the time to drive over the border.
