received out the door price in writing via email, Findlay Toyota would not honor once I arrived onsite.
This is the second vehicle I’ve purchased from Findlay Toyota. I saw a vehicle on the internet which I loved, so I went into the dealership. I spoke with Antwaun and informed him about the vehicle I had viewed on the website. He immediately went to work. He located the vehicle and went through the details with a fine tooth comb. I am not one who likes to spend all day in the dealership, I know what I want and that’s all I want to see! Antwaun fully understood this and he moved through the process rapidly but professionally. I then spoke with TJ in financing. He was awesome as well! He was professional and well versed in his job. I purchased my new automobile and I was extremely happy with the entire process. As a matter of fact, I was so happy with the sale that I took my daughter there a few months later to purchase her very first vehicle with Antwaun and TJ. They shared every step of her excitement in the purchase. Antwaun was so patient with her knowing it was her very first vehicle purchase. Antwaun is a great salesman who really listens to his customers and cares about them. He set up my bluetooth and walked me through everything in my car as well as my daughter when she purchased her car! As we were waiting, everyone in the dealership was very friendly and welcoming. I can honestly say if you are looking for professionalism, quality, honest and a good deal, give Findlay Toyota in the Valley Auto Mall a try. They are definitely a dealership with heart!
On July 30th, I dropped my vehicle off in the morning and took the shuttle back to my office. At the same time I booked my appointment I confirmed my need for a ride to and from work. I was told a shuttle would be ready within 10 minutes of me dropping off my vehicle. After 30 minutes I had to track down whoever was supposed to be giving me a ride. After I went to work, no one called me that day and I called a little after 5:00 concerned. Come to find out I was completely forgotten about. My vehicle had been done hours before. The person who was supposed to have called me, Robert Baldwin, told me that it was “an unfortunate over site” on his part. I was then told the shuttle was officially down and they weren’t sure if they could assist me in getting my vehicle since their office was about to close anyway!
I am a single mother of two children. I had no way to get my vehicle without an extremely expensive taxi ride and still not without being extremely late in picking my children up from school. Also, with no family in town the school would have had no choice but to call the authorities to come and get my children. That would mean that if I ever did get my vehicle, I’d have to go to the POLICE STATION to pick up my 2 and 5 year old children! After speaking to 3 different people, they finally decided it was fine to pick me up and to stay open long enough for me to get my vehicle. With the time it took them to decide to have someone pick me up, I was alone at the office and sitting outside by myself praying my phone didn’t die before someone picked me up.
There is absolutely no excuse for what I was put through for a simple oil change. A free oil change turned out to be a $120 school bill that I incurred because I was horridly late in picking up my children, but thank God not late enough for the authorities to be involved. When I told the representative that I wanted some kind of compensation, he stated that again it was an unfortunate over site on his part and that he could do nothing since my oil change was free, since I myself purchased the extra package. He stated that he would make sure one of his managers contacted me by the next day before lunch. It is now two weeks later and the crickets have even given up on the possibility that anyone at this facility will take responsibility.
I just recently purchased a used Toyota Tacoma from this dealership, and it was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! When we purchased the vehicle they told us that the smoker smell in the car would come out and they would detail and shampoo everything to get the smell out. I went in a few days later and it still smelled like and ashtray, so they said they would clean it again. Four days later the car still smelled!! We asked what our options were and they said they would clean it again or they would trade it in for $9,000 less than we paid. Meanwhile, the whole time they had our car, we didn’t get a loaner car. We also asked to have another company clean the car and they refused. The inside of the car was haphazardly cleaned and dog hair, dirt, smeared food was still visible in the car. We asked to speak to a manager and they didn’t even do that for us.
NEVER PURCHASE A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!
Bought our Prius last year from Findley and couldn’t be more disappointed with them. It took me a year to realize this because I just purchased a new car from Fletcher Jones Toyota. Let me warn you that Findley will nickle and dime you to death. They charge a $300 VTR fee on top of their $400 doc fee. VTR is a garbage fee! Should have brought my black magic marker. The insurance they offer for 7 years is so over priced that we paid $2200 for the Prius because the finance manager, ex-professional baseball player Ludwick, says the battery alone will cost $2500 if it dies out. Fletcher charges anywhere from $1000-1200, When I needed a new tire for a hazard repair, they said the tire was out of stock and I would have to wait 4 months because of back orders. I would have to drive around with a donut tire that long ? Went to a local tire store that stocked them and bought two new tires and tolded Findley off ! Called Findley to have my 15,000 service and they wanted to charge me $85 ? What happened to the two year service is free that they offered. Took our Prius to another Toyota dealership and they said, No problem, it’s free with us! I’m staying with Fletcher Jones Toyota from now on. Before dealing with any dealership, call Stephen Wade Toyota in St George and get an internet price which will be $100-$300 over dealers invoice. Don’t haggle and spend over 6 hours with Findlay getting ripped off like I did.
I wish I had read this review before I purchased my vehicle. I also had a terrible experience.
To make a long story very short…spent at least 5 hours sorting thru all the BS that goes along w car buying. Agreed upon a deal, signed, done. Picked up the vehicle. Great Toyota Tacoma. Receive several panicked calls from finanance manager, Alex Paz that I need to return to re-sign a new contract for $1000 more because the incentive they worked into the deal was rejected by the manufacturer, Toyota. Went round and round arguing that the situation was not my error; therefore, should not and would not pay $1000 more. The finance mgr tried the scare tactic of stating they would need the vehicle returned that night, but when I said ok I’d return it, no problem, he miraculously worked an entire percentage point off of the APR from 3.5%-2.5%. That made my payment the same. So, in the end, the payment stayed the same as original negotiation, but only after my wasted time and 2 trips to Henderson. So much aggravation
I moved to Las Vegas last year. Through the recommendation of a work associate, I selected Findlay Toyota as the service facility for my 2006 Tundra. Since then Findlay Toyota has changed my brakes, flushed my coolant, timing belt, cam seals, and numerous oil changes. All service was completed on time and with satisfactory results.
Last week I called to make an appointment to have the transmission fluid changed. Over the phone I was quoted $319. This seemed a bit excessive, so I decided to call Desert Toyota. To my surprise I was quoted $179 for the same service. Obviously I went to Desert Toyota for the service, and will going there from now on.
Now I am in the process of comparing prices for all the work completed by Findlay Toyota thus far on my truck. I have a suspicion that I have been way overcharged for all the service performed at the Findlay Toyota dealership. Are customers expected to pay higher prices because of your location in Henderson?
On another note, I have had an excellent experience with the parts department. Andre has been very helpful in ordering the parts I am looking for and letting me know when they are ready for pick up. He is very knowledgeable in Toyota products and the prices are fair.
This was absolutely the best car buying experience I have ever had. There was no pressure to buy a vehicle and that is a bonus for this dealership. I have spent more time in a dental chair than I did from start to finish purchasing my new Scion xD! I want to thank Yuvo for working to get me an unbelievable deal. He went far beyond what a sales person would normally do. Also, thanks to Kyle in financing for his ability to work “magic” with the banks. I am now a loyal customer of Findlay Toyota/Scion. I love my new xD! You are awesome Findlay!
Cant say enough good things about this place. Only place I can take my vehicles to and feel satisfied with the work. A shame that no other place in town embodies the customer service and satisfaction like Findlay Toyota!
I knew what I wanted and called ahead . Alix made me feel comfortable right away and immediately booked a time that worked for me to come into the dealership. He had answers to all the questions I asked him on the phone when I arrived. Within moments after arriving we were out for a test drive. I was hooked! The trip to the financing department was the only time we hit a *glitch*. We had already been pre-approved through our credit union, so no worries there. It was the *quick* talk through the extended warranty. It was presented as though the cost was about $400.00, but when the paperwork was printed that was actually what it made the payment! The cost was significantly more . We had the paperwork re-printed and we were on our way. I would absolutely return for any vehicle needs and love my new Malibu!! Thanks for the help, Alix!
These people are liars and rip off artists. They tried every trick in the book to get me to buy a car at a price higher than what I was willing to pay. They pretended they could meet my price requirement when I was about to walk out. Then they drew up the papers with hidden fees that jacked up the price. When I caught this, they claimed it was an innocent mistake, and they’d re-do the papers. Same thing happened. They were stalling, hoping I’d get worn out and agree to pay more. After four hours, they STILL were unwilling to draw up the papers to sell me the car at the price we’d agreed to, and had to admit they needed me to come higher. This was four hours after saying they were agreeing to my price and terms. Waste of a day, taught me a lesson. John Barr himself got involved and did some lying to me, as did 2 other salesmen including the finance guy. DO NOT BUY FROM ANY FINDLAY DEALERSHIP OR YOU ARE REWARDING DISHONESTY AND LACK OF ETHICS.
We had a really pleasant purchase experience with Monaliza. My family was there early Saturday morning to check out the Scion XB’s. We had plans to visit several dealerships that day as we needed a new car immediately. (Our old one had died the day before) We walked on to the lot and for once (amazing) were not mobbed by salesman. We had a chance to look over the cars and get an idea of what we wanted to look at before we were approached. Monaliza came across the lot to us and asked if she could help. She was very informative about the cars and the options they had. We wanted an automatic and all the models on the lot were manual so she had one of the counter people call another place to see if they had an automatic. They did not. After seeing the prices and the options the Scion came with we were very interested. She had a used 2010 automatic and she encouraged us to take a drive and check it out. We were very impressed. The car was roomy and I was really impressed by the front view out from the driver seat. The car was what we were looking for. She suggested we try driving one of the 2011 with the manual transmission and since we have driven a stick in the past we gave it a shot. Needless to say we were sold. They had the Special Edition Voodoo Blue 8.0 release sitting in the showroom and we fell in love with it. And of course purchased it. We dealt with Richard Kaye the floor manager (an enthusiastic Scion XB owner) through out also, who really helped out with our questions regarding the car and all the special features. He was able to speak from first hand experience with the car and really gave us piece of mind on our purchase. Just want to thank you guys, so far the experience has been great. We’ll definitely recommend you guys to friends, and be back again for our daughters car!
Findlay Toyota was referred to me by 2 other customers that had great buying experience from this company. Both of them recommended same salesperson. His name is George Kweyama. There excellent service comments about George were accurate. I started dealing with George through the phone a week before I decided to buy. By the time I get to the dealership, George was completely ready for me and was able to get me the car I want. The whole experience was flawless. Other employees were also very friendly. Foods and refreshments were also provided during this visit (hot dogs, hamburgers, sodas, coffee, bottled water, snacks, pastries, etc.). This is my first time to be treated by a dealership like this. I owned 5 other cars prior to this purchase, but nothing compared to this excellent experience.
as i drove up to look at a carsI had no intention of buying a car at this time but brandin gaviolla approached me and Isew that beautiful smile on his face and I said what the heck im going to buy a car frome him what a nice guy.
then he referred me to Amos Maly who work with my husband i for few hours until we purchased a 2009 camery.both of these Genteltmen were a delight
if you are every in need of car please see one of two Gentleman you be dissapointed.

Rick Glenn sold me a Saturn Vue and now a 4 door Toyota Tacoma. I will aways buy from Rick Glenn because he is honest and fair. He will do his best to give you a great deal. This is my second Tacoma and I believe they are the best small truck on the road. In 1995, when I was 15 years old, my Dad started selling Pontiac until he past away in 1989. My Dad was honest and a great salesman, just like Rick.
One thing my Dad told me, most salesmen and dealerships are honest and trying to make an honest living. It is the customer that is trading or trying to get rid of a vehicle and don’t tell the dealer what is wrong with it. When that vehicle is sold, the salesman or dealership get the bad name, not the good old boy that traded it in.
Thank you Rich Abajian and Mr. Findlay for having a great person like Rick Glenn and others working for you. It was a pleasure doing business with Findlay Toyota.
Contacted Findlay Internet sales and met with Salesman. The vehicle we had discussed over the phone was unsurprisingly no longer available when i arrived at the lot within the hour but we were able to find a simular vehicle around the same price. My trade in was appraised and paperwork was filled out and signed. I left that evening with my new car and thinking i had a great experience with Findlay. Wrong! Called the next day and told that the financing was still pending. I called the dealership several times and was told each time that it would take up to 3 weeks to hear from the bank!?! The last day i spoke to them i was told not to worry there were still 1 1/2 weeks to find out. Woke up at 2am with my new car being towed from my driveway! was left with no idea what had happened and no vehicle to go to work in the morning. When i arrived at the dealership all they could do was apologize and say the salesman claimed he tried to contact me unsuccessfuly multiple times. This is untrue. Then they tried to sell me another car!
I first contacted Findlay Toyota via the internet. I was looking for a quote on a 2010 Toyota Corolla. My overall experience with Findlay toyota was excellant. I have been raving about my experience with your dealership to everyone I know. The level of service April Rabau provided throughout the process was nothing less than outstanding. Even the gentleman in finance was also professional, courteous, and knowledgeable.
April Rabau was the salesperson I dealt with from the beginning of my inquiry into purchasing a Toyota. April responded to my many questions in a timely manner. She was very knowledgeable about the product and very plesant to work with. She is the primary reason I chose to purchase my car at Findlay. I put in a lot of work into choosing my car, and had looked at Honda, and Nissan. I briefly dealt with Desert Toyota (who were awful). It was April’s professionalism, knowledge of the product, and courtesy that sealed the deal and convinced me to drive to the other side of town and purchase my car at Findlay
Findlay Toyota’s staff overall were professional and courteous. I was surprised that Howie returned my phone call as promptly as he did. It was a pleasure to have him as my sales consulant. He provided me with enough time to make my selection, while catering to my family who was also present. Howie started the paperwork for me so that I could make the transition from my trade in to my new car easy. I didnt have a lot of time so I really appreciated his expediency and attention to detail. I am a Costco member and selected the make and model I was interested in off of their website. Then I was informed that Findlay Toyota serviced members. And as I said above, I was pleasantly surprised when Howie called me before I had to call him. Thank you Howie and Findlay Toyota
Findlay Toyota was excellent and the whole process was pain-free and quick. Ralph was very attentive and eager to address any questions or concers I had. He was extremely helpful. My friend James refered me to Findlay Toyota and I was happy I was able to share that same experience!!!
Came in looking for advertised 2009 cars, with great prices, salesman said there were none (false advertising). Tested a 2010 which my daughter liked (car was for her) very difficult dealing with salesman, he kept changing conversation, and numbers, and going back and forth to back of office. Discussed price and terms for about FIVE HOURS! I am senior citizen, it was late and I was very tired. Finally reached agreement, I had writen down terms on a piece of paper: price, terms and trade-in. I was terribly tired and not feeling well at that time and my daughter was getting sick (she came down with the flu that night) . Salesman escorted us to back office, where the financial officer turned on the charm and started a long conversation about the pictures in his office, his past as an Air Force officer, my granddaughter’s plans for school, my daughter’s credit, the fact that I had bought another car there in the past, Etc. Etc. The salesman was there too, offered to bring us a bottle of our favorite wine…After a lot of talking, and a lot of typing, the financial officer put all these papers in front of me, put his hand on top of them, with his index finger pointing to the signature line and told me: “just sign here, and here, and here”. My BIG mistake was to trust him and assume that the figures on the contract were exactly what the salesman and I had agreed to, and that, as a previous customer, they would be treating me right. I signed, my granddaughter was given the papers, (she was with us also) and we got in the new car and left. It was a couple of weeks later when I found that they had tricked me into paying anywhere around $8,000 to 10,000 more than the price we had agreed to. It has been a few months and I have received no satisfaction regardless of the many letters written, even to Findlay himself.
I am an older person but will not let swindlers take advantage of me…the legal road is long and slow but I am walking it…..
Great is the word that decribes Findlay Toyota and their staff. Great experience over all!!! I bought a Toyota Corolla for my daugther and Darryl was so helpful and he knew the product and explained everything to me. They didnt hassle me at all it was great. I am refering everyone there to Findlay Toyota!!!! Thank you Darryl!!!
I was shopping online and put in a request for a 2010 Toyota Tundra and the first person to get back to me was Ron Glenn!!! I was shocked because I had just put the internet request in. I told him exactly what I wanted and he found the Tundra that I needed. He didnt try to switch me to other options. He was real direct and I loved that. I told him I did not want him to waste my time plus I lived on the other side of town. I set an appointment and I tell you I was in and out of the dealership within 40mins. He had the Tundra I wanted ready and all I had to do was sign paperwork. Other dealership like Fletcher Jones Toyota gave me the run around this guy Tiny from Cent Toyota just gave me a bunch of non-sense. I have refered everyone I know to Ron Glenn…and Findlay Toyota.
I had been shopping and looking at all these car lots and we decided to go to Findlay Toyota because of one of my family members bought a car from TJ. We parked our car and we were greeted so kindly which wasnt the case at the other dealerships. We were introduce to TJ who walked us around lot and found me the perfect Camry for me!!! He was honest with us from the very beginning and treated me like royalty. He didnt try to rip our heads off like Cent. Toyota was trying to do. I am very thankful for TJ and Findlay Toyota!!!! Thank you again for everything!!!!!
I drove from Dayton OH in a rental car to Wilmington Auto Center to look at a Kia. It was a Saturday at 4:50pm. Keith asked for my drivers license and then gave me the key. I returned ten minutes later and gave Keith the keys. I forgot to ask for my license and Keith “forgot” to return it. I didn’t discover this until I returned home (an hour from Wilmington). I called and left a message with my address and I sent an email with my address in order for the them to return my drivers license. On Monday, I spoke with them on the phone and they said they would mail it. As of five days later, the license has not been returned. I suspect foul play. Was the license stolen by an employee for illegal purposes? I cannot know. I called the Wilmington Police Department to report this issue. They visited Wilmington Auto Center and they manager claims he “mailed it.” Somebody, somewhere has my drivers license and is likely using it for fraudulent purposes due to Wilmington Auto’s malfeasance. It is most peculiar that given Wilmington’s economy is struggling, an attempt to bring new business to the area is met with poor customer treatment. Stay away from Wilmington Auto Center. Apparently, taking the customer’s driver’s license and “forgetting” to return is an old dealer trick to force customer to return and start the conversation again. Do you want to buy a car from “old school scam artists?”
I spoke with manager of Wilmington Auto
Center today. He insisted that he did send the license as promised. He
has asked me to reconsider the possibility that the postal service has
lost the license rather than the possibility of it being stolen. I do
accept that the postal service does lose mail. The manager expressed
regret about failing to send the license certified me. he did offer but
I declined because the post office is not on the bus line and I don’t
have a car. I should have requested it mailed fedex. Finally, the
manager wished to assure me that this is only the second time this has
ever happened and he does not “hold the license to force customer
return.” I have chosen to take him at his word. In an act of goodwill,
the manager indicated that he would reimburse the modest cost of
replacing my drivers license which I acknowledged as gracious. Although
I wouldn’t purchase from Wilmington Auto Center, I don’t believe a
malicious intent barring other evidence.
MY HUSBAND AND I RECENTLY WENT PURCHASED A USED VEHICLE FROM FINDLAY, THREE DAYS LATER THE AIR CONDITIONING STOPPED PUSHING OUT FREON, WHEN WE EXPLAINED THE SITUATION TO THE SALESPERSON, HE TOLD US HE COULDN’T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT YET THE PRICE WE PAID INCLUDED WORKING AIR CONDITIONING. I DON’T UNDERSTAND HOW ANY “REPUTABLE” DEALERSHIP COULD HAVE THE NERVE TO SELL A VEHICLE TO SOMEONE KNOWING THERE MIGHT BE PROBLEMS WITH THE AIR CONDITIONING, AND NOT DISCLOSE THE INFORMATION. ALSO IT WAS PATHETIC THAT THE RAPPORT THAT THIS SALESPERSON TRIED TO BUILD WITH US WAS BASED ON HIM BEING FROM THE SAME AREA AS US AND THAT HE’D LOOK OUT FOR US. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THESE PEOPLE. THE DESK MANAGERS AREN’T OF ANY HELP EITHER, THEY DON’T DEAL WELL WITH DIFFICULT SITUATIONS AND TALK TO YOU LIKE THE CUSTOMER IS AN INCONVENIENCE! JOHN BARR EVEN HAS AN ATTITUDE.
Do not buy at Findlay Toyota, it’s a rip-off!!!!! Dishonest dealers!
I do not recommend buying from Findlay Toyota. They are liars and crooks. Especially their internet sales manager Rick Glenn.
They sold the car we were negotiating on to somebody else without letting us know. Rick Glenn lied to us and he is nothing but a dishonest salesman, which is unfortunately what most car salesmen are.
I recommend going through car brokers, we got a firm and better price than at Findlay Toyota.
Don’t give Findlay Toyota your money! It’s not just the salesmen, John Barr, Rich Abajian – General Manager/Co-Owner, and Findlay himself know what’s going on and encourage those policies.
