This dealership lies and distorts the price of everything. They need to be investigated over price fixing on their contracts and deception they practice with customers. I would never recommend this Toyota dealership.
MADE APPT FOR THE 5000 MILE SERVICE OIL CHANGE, ETC. I GET THERE, WAIT 30 MINUTES, THEY COME OUT AND SAY THEY ONLY ROTATED THE TIRES, THAT THE SERVICE WASNT TO BE DONE UNTIL 10,000 MILES. I WAS PRO ISED A FREE OIL CHANGE AND SERVICE EVERY 5,000 MILES UP TO 25,000 MILES. THEY SAID THAT WAS FOR ALL TOYOTAS EXCEPT THE FJ. THE LADY I MADE THE SERVICE APPT COULD HAVE TOLD ME THAT, BUT DIDNT. I CALLED TOYOTA CUSTO ER SERVICE KINE, THEY SAID THE DEALERS HAD COUPONS THAT WERE PRINTED WRONG, AND THAT THEY DO NOT CHANGE OIL BUT EVERY 10,000 MILES, THAT EVEN THOUGH I WAS TOLD THAT THEY WOULD DO IT EVERY 5,000 MILES, AND GAVE ME A SERVICE BOOK THAT SAYS THE SAME, THAT IT DIDNT MATTER AND THAT THEY WOULD NOT HONOR THE CERTIFICATES THEY HAD GIVEN ME. TJEY DID NOT CHECK ANYTHING ON THE VEHICLE BUT TIRE PRESSURE AND ROTATE TIRES, NEVER CHECKED ANY FLUIDS, OR ANYTHING. THE SALESMAN FINALLY CAME OUT AND ARGUED WITH ME ABOUT HOW I WAS MAD ABOUT NOTHING, HE ADMITTED TO TELLING ME I WOULD GET THE 5,000 MILES SERVICES, BUT THAT SINCE HE WAS WRONG THAT THERE WAS NOTHING TO BE DONE ABOUT IT. THIS WAS LIKE BEI G AT A CHEAP ROADSIDE GAS STATION ARGUING WITH SOME THIRD RATE HACK INSTEAD OF A PROFESSIONAL DEALERSHOP. THIS IS MY FIRST AND LAST TOYOTA!!!
We have had 3 Camry’s. The First SAVE MY LIFE in a head on Collision.
Our car was totaled, but I lived.
WE got another to replace that one, and bought my daughter a camry to be sure she was driving a SAFE car.
We are Loyal Toyota Family. WE now drive a RAV 4 and love it
A+++++:D
gave me a price , when i went back next day, jacked up the price by 1000 doallars and said theat price was for that day only. The owner/manager was very rude. will never buy from this dealership ever.:devil(
Took my car in on a Wednesday to have the transmission looked at. Said it would take 9 hrs to properly confirm the damage. Took 2 days to finally get a call back. They CLAIMED the transmission was locked up and had to be completely replaced and that I “might as well go ahead and put an entire new clutch in”. They CLAIMED they couldnt find any used transmission so they price for all new parts, including labor but, NOT including tax would be “AROUND” 4700 dollars. OUTRAGEOUS. I asked about a transmission rebuild, as it would be much cheaper. They CLAIMED the damage was too great but “couldnt go into detail”. I decide that I’m going to get it towed to a transmission shop near my home. I call up Toyota and tell them that I am going to get it towed and the transmission packed up and ready to go. They said that they would have it ready to be picked up the next day. They call back an hour later and suddenly found a brand new transmission in California for 1250. After doing research, I can buy a brand new transmission for 1200. Where is the extra 50 from? I go to their shop to speak to them because, I called a different Toyota and they said the max amount of time it takes to pull a transmission is 3 hrs. I confront there shop manager and he said that was “warranty time” and openly admitted that they take their time on cars not under warranty. I talked him into taking 2 hrs off of my bill but I still had to pay 611 dollars for nothing. Now here is the real kicker. The tow truck gets to their shop at 1 and the car is still on lifts and not ready AFTER they told me it was ready at 9 am that morning. I get a call about 2 hrs later from the shop near my house, The transmission only had a blown bearing and could be rebuilt and the clutch was completely worn. So Toyota pretty much gave me lies. The shop then fixed the transmission in less than 1 day for only 2500. Do not trust Rick Mcgill Toyota Scion. They are a complete scam and should never be trusted, especially for any service repairs.
They do not explain what is going on and thinking you are testing the car over night, when in fact you just bought something you did not want or could not afford. Then they let you trade for a cheaper car and add on thousands for over night money lost on the first car.In other words they are crooks. Lies and more lies. Hope they sleep well at night.Or not. Better sell your trade in as well, they took mine first round.Very saddened and angry I will never use them again and will tell everyone why.:mad:
THE ONLY THING I CAN SAY BAD ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE OF THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS: THE WAITING ROOM IS SMALL…..
THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT ADVISOR MET ME AT MY CAR, TOOK MY INFORMATION AND DIRECTED ME TO THE WAITING ROOM. THE AIR CONDITIONER COMPRESSOR WAS REPLACED AND I AM PLEASED WITH THE WORK. I HAVE SINCE HAD MY OIL CHANGED THERE AND I WILL RETURN.
Received a out the door price on Wednesday and went to buy Friday and the price increased 1000.00
Do not deal with this scam!:devil(
When vehicle was bought, they prided themselves on service and gave us the “TIRES FOR LIFE” deal with the purchase of a new vehicle. Our service and maintenance was really good up until the time our vehicle needed new tires. They put the tires on. When we got home(Knoxville) ALL 4 TIRES were practically FLAT and we had to put air in all 4 before we could drive back to Alcoa with our problem. Upon arrival @ the dealership, they threatened to call the police on us after we had paid nearly $400.00 for maintenance/service, they made us feel as though the whole problem with the tires was our fault and we didn’t have a reason to be upset after paying for service and arriving home with 4 TIRES THAT WERE EXTREMELY LOW ON AIR.
