Chantilly Auto Sales is a corrupt and dishonest operation. Our company transported a vehicle to them, and we had a breakdown en route. We did deliver the car late, however,, Mr. Hafiz told our driver he would send a check for payment to our company. No check has come, since 05/29/2018 when car was delivered in good faith. Spoke with Afiq at beginning of week and he refused to pay. Spoke with Afiq on phone yesterday, and he refused yet again to pay his transport bill.
This company is scandalously dishonest, and is selling cheap auction cars for high profit. If they will cheat a federally licensed carrier, what might they do to a mere customer? ? ?
I purchased a SUV from this place, 2 weeks later I’m replacing the engine. Bad business. They’ve done nothing to help me with my 2000$+ repair or anything to help at all.. They’ve been avoiding me when I call… Leaving me no choice but to call better business bureaus and put a claim out… DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM they’ll sale you a fraud car.
Tony at this dealership is a liar! He guaranteed the company would help fix the poor quality car they sold me after things started to fall apart a few days after purchasing. Tony said they would give me $200 for $4000 worth of work needed. I haven’t seen the money or heard anything back. They don’t have a Carfax account but Tony played as if they did, saying the Carfax system was down. He had to go next door to get one.
The communication is horrible and they make you take your paper work to the DMV to get your tags. Tony said they don’t take them anymore because it’s a hassle for them. Really?!? Then they want you to sign a document that restricts you from suing them in court. If this place sell quality vehicles why do you need this. They don’t stand behind what they sell and the Preferred warranty they provide is no good. BEWARE OF TONY, nice guy at first but look deeper and you will find his lies. I strongly recommend not to do business here if Tony is still employed.
my daugther purchased a 2004 chevy avero. she is a college student who saved up to get a first car, paid $5999. on her way back home from school the engine went on the interstate. all she has is a shell and no more money. i would not buy anything from the dealer or tell anyone else too. sign ticked off mother [email protected]

Checked out their 2005 Subaru Outback (Citron Silver). I noted that the battery had residue on it and that the engine was greasy underneath, along with several other problems. The salesman, Mark, never bothered to explain why the engine had oil on it when I pointed it out. I later found out from a mechanic friend that if an engine’s greasy at the bottom, it’s leaking and that’s a really expensive repair. I wouldn’t recommend going to this dealer. I would not recommend buying this car either.

Purchased a Lexus from these a couple days ago. I have been searching for a long time and they had one not quite what I was looking for, but price was good. Drove down from Delaware, and the car was great. I mean no surprises, no accidents, perfect. Purchased the car, drove back to Delaware that night, and very happy with the purchase. Definitely recommend these guys.
Just bought a BMW today. Drove down from delaware this morning, and it was exactly as described. The car drove well, took it to the dealer for a checkup, and purchased it. I love the car, great price, and would recommend them.

We purchased a minivan from them and are thrilled with our purchase. It had every option that we were looking for, and the price was reasonable. I got the best bang for my buck here. The sales associates were pleasant and cordial. My vehicle has treated me great as well as the staff there.
Please go to a mechanic and inspect your car. I’m pretty sure it’s been in an accident, has been significantly damaged and then repaired by this shop and sold to you as a vehicle with clean history. Good luck!

This place is a scam. I checked the carfax of the car and it was clean. They told me the car was in perfect condition. When i bought the car and took it to the dealer for a checkup i found out the car had frame damage. When i told them about it they said its not their problem. Avoid this place!

Worst experience ever!
American Auto Group Inc. was recommended to me by a family member whom was acquaintances with the owner. They seem very friendly but beware. Most of the cars at this dealership are some way damaged. They buy it from the auction cheap and sell it for what seems to be a good price, while in reality the car is a waste. I say this because I trusted them and bought a car for a good deal. When I took it to the dealer I found out that the car has; an engine leak, was in a front/back accident, was painted all over except the roof, had flood damage, and to top it off the car didn’t pass emissions. Overall I managed to return the car with a fee of $500, which I was told was going to be waived but again they lied. They are not professional or reliable. I would never suggest anyone to this place, if anything avoid it.

I am reporting them to the Bad Business Bureau and filing a court order to get the amount I paid + compensation for the moral damages. They never disclosed a frame damage on the vehicle I purchased. It is worth half the price I paid for it plus I now feel unsafe driving this car. Worst business in town. They should all be in jail for committing a fraud!

Horrendous experience!!! They were able to fake the documents and lied to my face about the history of the car. Carfax that they showed me was clean; however, when I got home and checked it in another system, it showed that the car had frame damage and a salvaged title. I am taking this company to court to get my money back. Never never never buy there. You will be scammed!

They are ripoffs.I bought a 2004 honda pilot from them without a remote.They promised to send me the remote the next week and they never did.Each time I call them,they will tell me it is in the mail and will probably take a couple of days.After 3 weeks,I called them and they denied ever promising me any remote.I reminded them that it was in my sales receipt that a key remote was to be sent to me.they said i should give them a couple of days.Now if i call them for the remote,as soon as i mention my name and my problem,they will hang up the call saying they have difficulty with reception and will call me back.they never called back.
THEY DID THE SAME THING TO ME. HE HAD THE NERVE TO TELL ME TO GO TO WALMART FOR THE BATTERY. BUT WHEN I WENT TO THE CHEVY DEALERSHIP I HAD TO GET A FUSE AND GET IT PROGRAMED FOR $90 AND NOW I HAVE NO ENGINE!!!!! THEY REALLY KNOW HOW TO GET HONEST PEOPLE MONEY!!!!

Do not buy from them! We were interested in a car that had quite a bit of phsyical body damage to it, a flat spare tire and a dead battery, etc. We signed a contract with them saying that they would replace all the physical damage and replace the battery and driver’s side mirror, and then we would take the car.
WELL, we went through WEEKS and WEEKS and countless visits to the dealership to see if they were working on our car. Well for the first two weeks we went to check on the car almost everyday and nothing was done! We had to basically beg them to do any of the work they promised. Then they did most of the work wrong or did not use lexus parts on the car. Well, for example it’s 4 months later and the “brand new battery” they put in the car has died!
This is just a small example of everything that happened when we bought the car but please don’t do business with them they are dirty dirty liars about everything! I was without a car for almost three weeks because we had traded my old one in!
I purchased an RSX type S about two months ago from this dealership. The transaction was smooth for the most part. After weeks of research, I stumbled upon their ad for the exact vehicle I was looking for with an excellent price tag. Shaq was honest in sharing information on the condition of the vehicle, interior and exterior. Before I actually went into look at the vehicle, he did a “walk-around” of the vehicle, and gave me specific information pertaining to the condition of the vehicle such as scratches, dings, dents, as well as interior condition. When I actually saw the vehicle first hand, there were no unexpected surprises. Shaq’s depiction of the vehicle’s condition was pretty accurate and I was definitely satisfied. It took them a bit longer to get the title to me, but nevertheless I did receive it with a comfortable amount of time to register the car. Overall, I was very pleased with the vehicle, and they did fulfill all the promises they made such as pull out some dings and eliminate scratches. I would definitely consider these guys for my next car, especially with their great prices.
I purchased a vehicle from this dealership about a month ago and just stumbled across this website. I read some of the previous reviews of the unsatisfied customers. The dealership sells a pretty decent amount of cars, and there is only 2 bad reviews on this website….where are the rest? In reply to the first two reviews, when I purchased my vehicle from them, I asked them if I drive out of here, and something happens to my vehicle, will I be covered? My sales person said with honesty, we will try our best to help you with your matter, but the best thing to do is buy a warranty, which will cover you. I purchased a warranty. I have not run into any problems with the vehicle, but if I had, my warranty would have backed me up. I recommend this dealership for all car purchasers. I respect the honesty of the sales staff. I love my car, and I got it a great price from there. Good job guys!
Purchased a Mercedes CLK 2007 from this dealership. Family owned business, and presentation was very professional. Shaq and his brother showed respect, professionalism, and honesty in answering our questions. The vehicle was average price, but it was the way they carried themselves and treated us that made us want to buy the car, along with the vehicle itself. I would recommend them to everyone.
I purchased a 2007 Mercedes Benz CLK350 from Chantilly Auto Sales. We drove an hour and half from Maryland to look at the vehicle. It was in great shape, as promised. The vehicle was still under manufacturers warranty and we took the vehicle to the dealership to have it checked out as well. The person above needs to realize that the vehicle was a used car, and a couple months down the line, you are going to have to service your own vehicle whether you like or not. Two months after I purchased my vehicle, I changed the oil, its service. All in all, the staff was respectful, courteous, honest, and very down to earth people. I would recommend these guys any day if your looking for a great vehicle.
I liked a Sienna 2006 mini-van from Chantilly Auto Sales, VA. Before I purchased the vehicle, I took it for an inspection and the inspection report mentioned few important issues like brakes, brake fluid, air-conditioning filter that had to be addressed immediately. I took to an inspection place that was recommended by this dealer and I paid the money out of my pocket. The dealer mentioned that he would take care of the issues in the inspection report and fix it before delivery. Prior to the delivery and my purchase, he gave proof that those changes mentioned in the report were all done. In few days, I found that the second set of key with remote that he gave was not working. When I asked the dealer about that, he asked me to pay about $150 to get that fixed. In two days time!!!! Also, In a matter of just few months, I had to change the air-conditioning filter (that was supposed to be fixed prior to delivery) and just now I came to know from mechanic that the brakes and fluid had to be replaced. Those were the same brakes that the dealer mentioned as new/replaced. This dealer is a CHEAT. BEWARE OF FRAUD!!!! Better buy your vehicle elsewhere or buy a new vehicle to save all these headaches. I would not recommend Chantilly Auto Sales to anyone.
I purchased a 2006 Toyota Sienna LE model from them and the car was in very good shape. The floor mats were missing on the vehicle but Atiq was able to get me another set. While driving the vehicle i felt that the brakes were not performing very well so I called Atiq a month after purchasing and he repaired the brakes at no cost to me. All-in-All Im very pleased with this dealership, they fulfilled their promises. They do not offer financing but they directed me toward Pentagon Federal Credit Union where i got the lowest interest rate.
I recently purchased a vehicle for my wife from this dealership. The salesperson were all very helpful and honest. I’m very satisfied with the purchase price and the overall customer service. I recommended a friend of mine which also ended up buying a car from them and he is very satisfied as well. They are a hassle free dealership. I would recommend this dealership to anyone that is out there to purchase a vehicle. great job guys
I purchased a 2006 Toyota Sienna Le from this dealership and got a great vehicle for a great price. I am completely satisfied with this vehicle and have not had any problems, I have also recommended my friend to this dealership and he also purchased a Toyota Sienna and he is very happy with his buy. Although the dealership is small, they sell quality cars. Would recommend this dealership to other people.
on 9/23 purchased car that shack the owner he had motor certified by his so called certified mechanic.I took train from NY to purchase car they told me it would be ready at noon 4 hours later they drove car to showroom.I paid him 6295 in cash 2 hrs later the engine blew on turnpike.I paid for motel 3days , towed car 652.00 to Ny and had to have motor replaced 2900.00. His so called certified mechanic put motor honey to keep engine quit untill i drove away. The so called Va inspection that he did failed to to pick up tire with steel belts showing through and wipers that did not work.He promissed me he would pay for the tow pay, for a new motor but did nothing .Do not buy anything from this company .I am looking into pursueing this matter legally
I would never recommend wasting your time with this family owned dealership, because they don’t care about anyone elses time or making a sale. They wasted way too much of my time I should have never even given them a second chance. First of all it took numerous attempts to get a car-fax. I should have stopped right there, but I didn’t I talked with them more and did my research. Eventually, I came back to Shaq with an offer. After I presented my offer and that I had an approved loan, he told me that him and his family were at lunch and he would call me back in forty five minutes. I gave Shaq fourty eight hours before I called him back and left a message. I have never heard back from anyone at the dealership. I don’t care if they sold the car they should have had the decency to call me back!!! Poor sales service!:mad:
