i had subaru do an inventory search for the car i wanted and subaru plano was the only dealer in the country that had it. they told me it had 4000 miles on it was in new condition and that the owner of the dealership drove it to and from work. they charged me full retail. i live in a different state and they shipped it to me. after recieving the vehicle, it was determined by my local dealer that the vehicle had been abused and the frame was bent along with other damages. it took nearly a month to get my money back from this mess. do not do business with this dealership!
Buyer Beware! My review is primarily based on buying a used 2008 Honda Ridgeline RTL from the dealership. I really liked this vehicle and told my salesperson Alex if there was no problem, I will be having it inspected by an independent mechanic. Alex gladly said no problem and went ahead with the comprehensive inspection. During the inspection, the independent mechanic stated the vehicle overall was in good condition but had concern in one area. While the vehicle was on a lift, he pointed to me oil seepage coming from the rear axle which I took photos for the dealership to see. I took the evaluation report along with the photos and showed it to Alex. I advised him of my concern and that I would not even consider buying the vehicle until the dealership would correct this problem as one would think. Alex said he could not make this decision and his manager(I forgot his name) come over.The next part of the story surprised me since up until this point I thought I was being treated fairly. The manager said he felt it was a minor leak and would not be making any repairs. But he would knock of $200.00 whick I could I apply to reapairs if I purchased the vehicle. I told him no deal and walked away in disbelief. I have a pretty good feeling that the manager will be true to his word and never make any repairs but worst will never disclose this issue to the next unsuspecting buyer. Morals and integrity was clearly not in practice from the manager and dealership during my negative experience. Buyer Beware!
Ihad such a great experience purchasing my vehicle – I’ve alreadyrecommended them to others! The sales and finance staff were soaccommodating. I never felt pressure or unsure about what I wasdoing. Subaru of Plano is the place to go!
The knowledge that my car is having quality service and knowing that they will not try to suggest repairs that are not necessary. I have come to this dealership since I purchased my Subaru and am extremely pleased with their service. I have recommended it…and will continue to recommend it to everyone I know as a location where quality work and trustworthy people are to be found.
I am usually not they type to go on the internet and comment on experiences that I have had at local businesses, but the other day, as I was leaving Subaru of Plano, I told myself I had to. I had to let everyone know what an amazing experience that I had in this dealership. I entered into this experience guarded. I had been to other local dealerships and left with no vehicle and a sour taste in my mouth. Going to Subaru of Plano was like brushing my teeth. The staff there was easy to deal with and the selection of cars was something to write home about. If you are looking to purchase a new vehicle then stop buy and talk to the folks at Subaru of Plano!

When I first arrived at Subaru of Plano, I felt that my business was valued by the dealership throughout my entire visit. I especially love how explanatory Sandra was, she explained things clearly, presenting options, outlining time expectations and helped out a lot. BRAVO!
We recently bought a Tribeca from Subaru of Plano as our new family car. The process was very comfortable and we felt really at ease the whole time. This is the very best dealership I have ever worked with. Also, the location is convenient with lots of ample parking. Thanks to the fine people at Subaru and I’ll be back.
Timothy and his associate Randy did an excellent job! They were very low key and knowledgeable which made the process really easy and worked with our schedule. We traveled here from out of the area but the prices we saw on the cars were the same as what was posted on the website. Subaru of Plano gave me the best prices and they even gave me the price I wanted for my trade in. They both stayed late for us, working around our schedule. The Subaru Legacy is exactly what I wanted to drive home and I did! We will come back here for our next vehicle.
I was so pleased with my recent visit to Subaru of Plano that I had to share via the internet! My sales consultant, Earl, invited me to test drive any and every thing I liked on the lot but was also extremely considerate of my time. He wasn’t at all pushy and what’s even better is I got him to come down on the price by a couple thousand!
After choosing the 2010 Subaru Legacy w/ moon roof I left while they finished processing everything. I was only gone for about an hour when I received a call that it was ready! Upon arrival my car was clean inside and out, free of mechanical issues, scratches, and dents and Earl explained to me how to effectively use all the features and controls. He then offered to schedule my first service appointment for me. Hands down the best experience I have had in a really long time. Thanks Earl!!!
Outstanding customer service here, I recently shopped here and when I walked in I met with Brad and he took care of me from beginning to end, this guy made sure I was taken care of at all times and even got me the vehicle I wanted in the color I wanted and saved me $1900. I was very happy by the time I drove off the lot.
