My salesman was fine I knew what I was willing to pay but had to wait 6 hrs. for them to agree
but since the sale I have been dealing with an incompetent fanatical staff.
It’s obvious that the management has no desire to make any effort towards customer satisfaction
And apparently the Attorney General would agree.

I can Honnestly say this was THE worst used car experience I have EVER had. I went to the dealership with my husband to try out two different SUVs. The first salesman was very pleasant and explained he had only been with the dealership for a few weeks. He was very honnest and just a nice guy. I explained to him that my family had 5 dealerships in Canada and my dad was in the business over 40 years until his death in 2009. We talked about the 2 SUVs , I told him I wouldn’t waste his time and let’s get to the chase on the price. His ” boss” – the biggest jerk I have ever met , was come rely inappropriate and rude to me. It was so bad that my husband basically got angry and told him not to speak to me in that manner. The salesman then turned at my husband and tried to get him to actually have a fist fight!!!! I have never seen anything like that in my life. If that is how they treat ready and able customers , they are either very I independant financially or just plan terrible business people. Shame on them for making dealers like my family back home look bad!
ABSOLUTELY TRUE, their boss is terrible. I went last week and bought a car elsewhere WORST EXPERIENCE
Thought we owed 15,000 cause we put down 5,000 only to find out later we owed 20,000 WHAT??? “well you signed the papers” Fast forward 2 years now were having transmission trouble…..its ok we have that $2,000 warrenty …WRONG not only did they F### up the trans mission we had to pay another dealer to fix it even though we had that warenty. STAY AWAY I repeat stay as far away from these criminals as you can an warn your friends!!!!WARNING BUYER BEWARE:eek:
I walked ino Mcgee Toyota with a Toyota online “build your car” for a 2011 Tacoma, a 2011 Consumer Report and an Edmunds.com report for the 2011 Tacoma. I shared this with the salesperson and we played the game for 2 hours. He was constantly going to the boss. When the price was discussed (too good to be true), my wife asked is this a 2011? No he said, a 2010, you asked to look at a new vehicle, this is it. Shame on me. Now I really understand the latin phrase “CAVEAT EMPTOR”, “LET THE BUYER BEWARE”
I went in to purchase a car that I had viewed online, test drove it and it seemed ok. When we talked about price, Sam quoted me $500 above what the internet pricing was saying that that was “their” price. I told him flat out that was deceptive and I was leaving…they came down on the price quite a bit and I ended up buying the car. They gave a “Car Fax” wannabe report (it wasn’t from Car Fax) stating the car was not in an accident.
After a few weeks, I noticed the bumper falling off and a noise from the tire. I took it to Nissan, they showed me where the accident was. When I went to bring it back the sales team was extremely rude, telling me “well, you did buy a used car”…I too will be reporting them to the AG.
I recently went to McGee Toyota and I have one phrase to sum up this dealership “BAIT AND SWITCH.” This dealership is why car salesman have a bad wrap of being sleazy and dishonest. They advertise the price they paid for the car online and in their ads so it looks like such a good deal, even when thoroughly looking through the ad there is no fine print of “price reflects down payment or any other exclusions.” When you go to do the paperwork for the car they raise the price thousands than the advertised price. All the managers are around constantly and available before they reveal the price they want for the car, then once you bring up the ad again and try to find out why they are raising the price they scatter and are all of a sudden unavailable. The Attorney General’s office was contacted and they did confirm that the dealership legally has to honor the lowest price advertised on the vehicle. The dealership still refused to honor the advertised price. Went elsewhere and purchased a vehicle, but did follow up with Attorney General and submitted a formal complaint and McGee is being investigated. So hopefully this will happen to fewer people.
was totally ripped off……am very unhappy wit my purchase….
I got there at night to buy 2006 used car listed at $9,203. Liked the car and finally signed the contract papers. Believed on them and they filed $17,000 finance after I put down $3,000 cash. Car cost me $20,000 🙁 . Still, I am fighting with them and never turned up with any Attorney. But I am now as till today I have been recording every conversations. They did unauthorized changes on my contract and included wasted warranties that I was not agreed on. I just heard that AG office is looking on to them now. Call them and talk to them.
I SAW HONDA PILOT 2005 75K FOR $13980 ON THE WEBSITE AND I WENT 5000 DOLLARS FOR DOWN PAYMENT AND WITH NO WELLCOME THE SALES MAN GIVES US WORST SERVICE IN MY LIFE ,I CAN ALMOST SAY THEY TRY TO KICK US OUT ,AND THE OTHER THING PRICE ON LINE IS A BIG TRICK ,THE WEBSITE PRICE PLUS $1080 SAFTY CHECK PLUS YHE TAX AND OTHER CHARGE ,O THE CAR WITH ALL OF THIS AND FINANCE COMES LIKE $17000, SO YOU GO TO PAY A CAR FOR $1000 YOU WILL PAY $14000 CAN YOU IMAGINE.BUT THE WORST THING WHEN WE OFFER A PRICE THE SALESMAN AND THE MANGER THEY ARE LAUGH AT ME AND MY FAMILY WITH NO RESPECT .IAM NOT REALLY HAPPY WITH THIS SERVICE AND I WILL TRY TO CONTACT THE VICE PRESIDENT FOR THIS DEALER AND I WILL BE HAPPY IF HE READ THIS REVIEW (PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU RESPECT YOUR SELF THEOSE ARE LOSSERS) THIS IS MY EMAIL ADRESS [email protected] 04/12/2010
We bought a 2009 Toyota Sienna from them after high pressure tactics with the promise that we could take the car to our own mechanic to have it looked over & they’d rectify anything wrong that came up. Wrong! Our mechanic said the back tires were a bit worn & although not bald, should be replaced for a new sale. When we brought it back the next day, they absolutely refused to replace them. They got my $$ & then refused to fulfill their responsibilites that they agreed upon.
I do not recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a new car. Deceptive business practices are the worst thing a business can do. Go find someone honest & give them your business. I will not return unless I absolutely have to.
I have purchased 2007 Nissan at McGee Pre-Owned Superstore.
After we set the price with sales person I wanted to check a few things.
Like: Floor mats, remotes, extra keys etc…
The car didn’t have any remotes and spare key. I demanded (2) remotes and got the deal. Sales Manager signed paper that he will pay for (2) remotes after I bring his the receipt. So I did.
It’s been (4) weeks (I purchased my car in Aug.2009) and I can not get my check.
Luckily for them I am 50 miles away and just can’t stop by.
Sales person and manager keep dancing…..
The sad part, its only 152$……but it’s my money and they hoping that I give up.
and would not take my trade in..
Maybe because I worked at dealerships, both in sales / service and have a better understanding of how the dealerships operate. Have bought 6 total, all Toyotas from Mcgee. The 1st car, the salesperson, Brian Kelly. Told him what we were interested in, did a few test drives, settled on a car, talked price, sold. No pressure from anybody. He was a straight up about the vehicles/prices. No double talk BS. They made some money, we saved some. Next 3, 1 new, 2 used, the same. All from Brian Kelly. Last 2, 1 new, 1 used, this time thru Mike Collinridge, Brian took an extented leave, again no hassles, pressure. Very comfortable with deals. Brian is back and now we have to choose between Brian and Mike. Will be back in shortly looking for another, probably used.
If you are looking to get something for nothing, go some place else. They will not give you the car to cheap. They have to make some money to stay in businness. But with the right attitude, you can save some, they make some and every body is happy.
As far as the Service department goes, again absolutely no problems there either. You have to always remember this about cars/trucks, they are just a pile of organized parts of steel and now plastic. Things will break/ wear out and sometimes be costly. If you follow the maintance schedules, ussually it works out to be cheaper.
If you think that I work (ed) at McGee, No I have not. I’m just passing on our expierences at McGee, the sales and service staff. Personally I will not go anywhere else.
I don’t know where to start. Called about a 2008 Hyundai Elantra priced at $9,365 with 4,187 miles on it. Got there, test drove the car, liked it, wanted to buy it. Came back next day with the trade in we discussed. I was told they sold the car. I asked how was this possible since we agreed on my coming back with the trade in. I got a sorry and asked if I wanted to see another car. I was very suspicious. I left and called on the phone to see if the Hyundai was available. I was told it was sold. Two days later it is listed again except this time for $11,201. I proceeded to go down there to see what was the deal. They said the car was available with no explanation as to the “sold” answer I got earlier. I was still interested and they proceeded to tell me the car was now going for $13,885. I’ve never seen anything like it. When I told them I was no longer interested, the sales person actually got mad at ME!!! and walked away.
I read the reviews on McGee before going there and they were all bad but I was still stupid enough to take the chance. It seemed like a good deal. Don’t make the same mistake I did. There is not one good review about this dealership. I mean all dealerships really aren’t on the up and up but this one takes it to a new level. Too many other dealers to do business with. Don’t waste your time.
Never believe what Josh the internet sales manager tells you. I was looking for a Touareg. He only had one on his lot but the posted two on their websites and the ficticious one was at a cheaper price. So without thinking about the customers’s time, they would make them drive from far to come see a car that is not there. And when the customer gets there, they will try and sell him the only car they have at a higher price. Thats the type of behavior I was faced with when I dealt with Mcgee dealership. They are very unhethical !!!!
Agreed to one thing then they switched when they wrote the contract. We signed the contract, we made the mistake of trusting it said what we agreed to. Had to get the kids home, it was late at night.
GM would not cancel the deal. His words “too bad you signed the contract”.
I got the same bait and switch from Magee we agree on one thing $5800 for signed a contract but mistake was made did not put down the amount on the contract. They filed it in for $14,000 more than double what the car is worth!!!
They misguided us into thinking the price is actually $2000 cheaper than what we really paid. So after we signed the contract, they denied everything they said!
Warning **DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER, THEY ARE A BUNCH OF DESPICABLE LAIRS!!!** Warning
They taken me for ride my mis informing me about the car trim. Car sticker and agent informed the car of mazda 3 i touring but after buying the car, I realized that it is just mazda 3 i.. When I went back to them, since I already signed papers.. they humiliated and threatened to tow my car out..
Not the dealer whom you can trust…
Beware, shady practices. My 16 yr old
son saw an ad on Craig’s list for a 2003 Jeep for $3995. I knew it was
too good to be true so I called. The young man said that was the price
I asked how many miles he said a little over 100K.I said great we’ll
be right over. Needless to say it was the typical bait and switch. The
car actually had over 200K and was beaten bad! He then tried to sell us
a 2001 for just a little more money $7995. I will be reporting them to
the AG’s office and the BBB. At least my son has now learned a lesson
don’t trust used car dealers!!!
