My Lexus of Palm Beach reviewSo after all the trouble ive had at this dealer since i got the car in Jan you would think they would get it right.. as they told me.. “trust us, it will be ok”.SO I did.. why?? after i had a problem arise every single time ive ben there as ive mentioned before>? because the only other Lexus dealer i can take it to is either Miami or Melbourne. SO i take it in at 7 30 am TO REPAIR THE WINDOW THAT WAS PREVIOUSLY SCRATCHED AND REPLACED THERE.It doesnt go down when pressing the all down button.. Its done!I return and the first thing i notice is little silver particles like “paint residue dust” in the windows on the sides.. all for have this dust in the crevices. https://cardealercheck.com/forum//forum//forum//forum/images/smilies/mad.gifI mention it and am told it cant be from sanding it or buffing it cause they used a liquid remover for the scratches… later i am told the “scratches are actually the glue residue from the plastic” when it comes new. If so what are these particles from.. and how did they spill the liquid onto the rubber on the side of the windshield which now has spots and dripping liquid marks on it that are discolored.. .guess they missed the roof.https://cardealercheck.com/forum//forum//forum//forum/images/smilies/frown.gifMore “cosmetic blemishes” that appear every time i take it there. I do notice A LOT more scratches in clear coat on roof now…
Well I try the window.. hmmm doesnt work!https://cardealercheck.com/forum//forum//forum//forum/images/smilies/eek.gif I ask for adviser,. oh its fixed.. well then why doesnt it work?? the same thing i droppped it off for still isnt working. they say we will send it back in.. “now im scared as to WHAT CAN HAPPEN NEXT?” but I have no choice.. i sit arounnd for an hour.. or more.. and talk to the service director. he assures me,they are competent.. I laugh… not because its funny but because its obvious they arent….So they give me a loaner and i leave. distraught i drive by BMW and wish for the days of service where I knew my car would come back Gleaming and sparkly new… My feeling is this.. they treat my car like a beat dog.. continuing to beat it up… and i have no choice but to return for more abuse or drive an hour or more for a service dept that knows how to treat a new car.. ie not dent it , scratch it, “polish it up” THE door has been taken apart 3 times in my first 2 months of ownership due to the 15 inch scratch it got when i got the window tint there.. they at first said THAT was a “water spot. take it home and it will dry” . Really Guys/? REALLY?
am i being treated like I should.. ? I dont think so.. would i of ever bought a Lexus if I knew this would happen..NEVER> Just rememeber.. if you get a new car… cheeck and see if they’re the only close dealer..because if it is.. you may think twice, before you buy… THIS COULD HAPPEN TO YOU! No luck with the customer service from Torrence either as I have spoken to Mgrs.. Customer service reps.. and “higher ups” and all I get is… Trust us. So I go to the Dealer where i bought it. They tint and I look and see a 15 inch scratch on the window.. going straight across… when i get it back.. have yet to leave the dealer. and they say oh its just water linehttps://cardealercheck.com/forum/images/smilies/mad.gif.. uh no its more like cut with a glass cutter… they say we will take the door apart remove the window and replace.OOh ka..https://cardealercheck.com/forum/images/smilies/confused.gif Not happy but what else can i do? They also remove the tint from the other window cuz the guy continued to tint even tho the film was cut and torn.It goes back in.. I get it back.. Ive been back numerous times.. the door has been taken apart 3 times since then .. because the window they put in wouldnt go down on the all down button.. then i took it back yesterday and they gave it back to me and it STILL Wasnt fixed.. so it had to go “back into service” Ive spent more time in the service dept since i bought it in Jan due to their negligence than i was in BMW in 2 years.. AND its all due to what happens while there.. so would you take your car to a place that continues to beat it up, not fix it properly and makes you return…only for more abuse.. no one in Customer service has helped they all say oh are hands are tied.. Why? why have ai had to spend weeks of my time in the service dept for scratches, dents and repairs to a window that should not of been scratched int eh first place. at a dealer 2 weeks after you buy it… I have a bad taste in my mouth for this dealer for sure.. and with good reason…Ive NEVER had so many things happen to my car while in the hands of the service dept…Let alone… have to go to the dealer for service for DAYS in less than 1000 miles!
