Took my truck in 3 times. First time, they could really not determine the problem, so they reloaded the computer memory. Same identical symptoms happened.
Took the truck back. The only thing they knew to do was to install a new computer. Same problem. After over $1,200 paid, nothing has been fixed.
Took the truck in a third time. They found a loose wire. That was the real problem.
They would not give me a refund for the other two service calls where they could not determine the problem, but charged me.
After calls to the shop manager, he claims to have done a lot of research on my vehicle and spoke to the corporate office. Offered me a free oil change. No refund.
In calling up the corporate Ford office, they had not reported replacing the computer in the truck. Corporate did not have any record of speaking to anyone at the dealership. It seems this is very common for this dealership to not report all of their mistakes to the corporate office. Corporate is investigating and will get back to me.
Only take your vehicle to this dealer for service if you know exactly what the problem is and what part to replace.
Were promised many things and then they would not follow through. Was told they would hold our down payment check for 30 days and then after everything was signed and we were home with the car for nearly 2 weeks they decided they could not do that. What really happened was they never started my car or completely checked it out before giving us the trade in value and realized once the deal was done that there is something wrong with the trade so they came and picked up the new car and said they couldn’t hold the check. When they picked up the car they asked us if they wanted us to hold the check and put the car in the back parking lot until they could cash the check and we said yes. Well now the car is for sale on the internet and their car lot. We called and he said he figured the deal was done and over with since we never called him back, we told him if the deal was done we would of taken the check back. They make promises they can’t keep and constantly go back on their word. They realized they were not going to be making any money on the deal with the problem the trade had and they had promised in writing that they would repair the new car that had a good size dent in it. The manager was upset about the agreement of the repair when we were singning all the papers and now he no longer works there. The poor guy was just trying to follow through with everything the sales manager promised and he looses his job?
