Dale was a great salesman, he greeted us and treated us with respect. Mr Steve Landers was nice and helpful. We plan on buying from Landers in future. Only complaint was the finance guy was a JERK and almost cost them deal. Dale was great to fix the problem and next time we buy we will ask to not deal with same finance guy.
Excellent experience. Special treatment by Libby. She’s the greatest!
Sold me a car then told me two days later when I was supposed to pick it up they didn’t have it anymore! Then they said they would tear up my check and find me a comparable car. Then Pj called me on Wed. Told me they had found the perfect jeep and they would give it to me at a $3000 dollar discount from previous deal. Better than the one they had sold me but then they discovered they had sold the car two days after I bought it. We setup Sat to look at car so they would have the chance to inspect it and get it cleaned although I was assured it was already perfect. When I showed up on Sat to look at car guess what? Yep! No car! Said they had to turn it back cause it wasn’t what they thought it was. They did however bring me one to look at that had 93000 mile on it dents and scratches and a nice oil leak, that I pointed out. Told me I could have it for a whole $500 less than our previous deal. I laughed and walked away! Never again wil I ever have a good word to say about STEVE LANDERS JEEP IN LITTLE ROCK ARKANSAS!
Went to look at a car and the first thing I heard was “We gotta move fast on this car because it was supposed to go to auction today. You got here just in time!” REALLY? WTF EVER!? This is NOT how you sell a car!! Throw it at me and rant and rave about buying it ASAP because I can’t hide the keys forever.. The lost me well before I was even a customer.. So, I’ve been pissed on my Crain Chevrolet then Everett Buick GMC (The ‘CHRISTIANS’of the car business.. Now Steve Landers is trying to feed me more SH*T?! Are there any honest dealers in this damn State? I guess I’m going to have to head to Dallas.. I HATE a liar!! Thanks a lot Steve Ol’ buddy!
I took my Tundra in for an oil change and tire rotation. I didn’t notice until a week after I picked it up that the center cap of the back wheel was off. I called Landers to inform them that it was missing. The service department told me that the center caps can just come off by themselves that happens a lot. I believe someone broke the cap or forgot to replace it. Because the center caps are very secure when placed properly. Lesson learned… don’t go to landers for service and if you do thoroughly check your vehicle before leaving the parking lot.
I had the best car buying experience from this dealer, notably salesman Herb Humphries. I contacted him by email as I am in NY. I was looking for a specific jaguar that I cdn’t find here & saw one in Autotrader. Herb answ’d every question, acknowledged every email & I ended up buying the car, sight unseen, except for pics that Herb took & em’d. Herb arranged transportation to NY, It was shipped in 2 days, trucker was courteous & competent. Herb took care of all the paperwork. Price was excellent. The whole transaction was smooth. My red jaguar xj8 is gorgeous, drives like a dream. I am very happy & wdn’t hesitate to buy from Landers again. I definitely recommend.
Where is the customer service?? Because we didn’t buy our car from them and we do not live in Little Rock, I guess they were wasting their time on us. Or maybe that’s just what it felt like……
My husband and I live in Fayetteville, AR and got into in accident in Little Rock when someone ran a stop light. Our car was taken to Landers to get the radiator replaced and all electrical systems checked (we own a prius). We were told that our car was fixed per Landers Body Shop. My husband picked it up and the check engine light immediately came on when he left the parking lot. We were told to keep driving and that it was just a system hiccup. When he was half way to Fayetteville the car broke down. He called Landers – they didn’t send a tow truck out until 3 hours later. My husband sat on the side of the road in 90 degree weather for 3 hours. The car was taken back to Landers to be refixed. The head to the maintenance dept. informed us that he would not be paying for a car rental – so our toyota company in Fayetteville that had nothing to do with fixing our car, let us have a loaner for free. I called Steve Landers – he told me to meet with his son Steve Landers Jr. Steve Landers Jr. was very rude and basically told us where to put it. It is clear that customer service is not their strong point. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.
“I brought in my Toyota 4 Runner for a service appointment and couldn’t have been more happy with the customer service I received. The service department staff goes all out to make you feel like family. I had every detail of the service explained to me and all my questions answered. To give every customer this kind of attention is just amazing. It’s amazing that service like this is still around! Thank you so much!”
“Since my job involves a lot of car traveling, I started looking for a new business lease. I was just floored by Camry Hybrid, and got such a superb sales experience from Landers Toyota. I received 4 quotes from different dealers, and the best one was yours. Your staff worked so hard in getting me a lease program that fit my needs and budget. ”
“The quote and service from your Landers Toyota dealership was superb. I did not expect such a short turn-around time. I got such a prompt follow-up after filling out a price quote form on the site. Not only that, I got the best quote possible from just talking with you all on the phone. It was incredible just to have the quickest experience ever when buying a new car. Thanks a lot!
I went to buy new Avalon for my wifes Birthday present, I ended with used Camry 2007 for the price of new Avalon, I left dealership happiest person – to learn next day, that all salespersons are making fun on me, when I came to pickup my paperwork – yes, I was not given any papers on my new car, nor was shown original price, and only after two weeks learned that slightely used company car is pre-owned car, plus 13400 miles is not a normal mileage for the fleet vehicle. What else? Car was not 6 month old, but at least 14, Camry 2007 – does not mean it was made in 2007 – you will ask me if I’m stupid – well they make me feel like one. It can be all, but in three weeks we realized, that car is taking average 20MPG highway and ask to check it – but was told it is normal for the new Camry, and I’m the one who is not driving right. You can find ad of Landers Toyota on Kelly web site – “No experience required” – right, you need not an experience but good lawyer for this guys. By the way, can somebody recommend one? I still don’t have my papers to register the car – already 4 weeks. 🙁
