My initial thoughts about this place were great. I found a car from them online off the website http://www.Autotrader.com. I had called them around mid December to talk to them about buying the car. When I talked to them they were very nice and comforting. I asked a few questions about the car, Like how many miles they engine had on it. They told me that it was a newer engine from another Subaru and that it had only 48,000 miles on it. This was great to hear because Subaru’s from the years 1999-2003 have a size measurement that is too big with one of the cylinders. Which can cause the engine to get hot in places it’s not supposed to and warp the metal inside. This can lead to the engine blowing up, so the fact that the engine has that many miles on it meant that there were good chances that it was still in good shape and that I could make sure that it gets taken care of properly when it has less mileage on it. Now the next series of questions I asked them were problems that had went wrong with my previous Subaru that I owned, So I asked them if any of those problems were current or developing with the car and if there were any other problems that I needed to know about. They said no. Again this was good to hear. After all of this happening I instantly wanted to buy the car, so we arranged a down payment and they held the car for me until mid April. When I arrived at the dealership the salesman Junior was very nice to us. Before we signed any paper work we checked to see if all the lights and and tested the horn. After that, papers were signed and I was on the road with my new car. After navigating to get to the highway and getting with where we were I decided it was time for some music. I go to turn on the stereo and only one speaker worked >_>… I figure o well I’ll just save up some money and get some new speakers. Other than the speaker issue every thing was going great. Well about a month into driving the car my check engine light came on. I said to my self “okay, I’ll just take it to Autozone and they’ll run a diagnostic test for me”. Did that, and found out that the oxygen sensor had went bad. Replaced it myself and life went on. Finally I was able to order some new speakers and they came in on Friday. I haven’t had time until today to try and install them. First i started with the back door panel and take out that speaker. Then I took of the driver side door panel. There I saw something which mad me upset. First off there wasn’t even a speaker where there should have been. Second the small speaker that was on the outside of the door panel had the wires cut from it, not only were these wires cut but there were other and to tie it all together the control panel for the window has been held in place with some sort of black goo. After seeing all of this i check the back to see if there was anything fishy going on with the wires back there. Sure enough I check the harness for which i would plug the new speaker wires into, and there’s dirt and some sort of white creamy stuff inside of it. I have had it with these “surprises”. Bottom line i was taken advantage of and lied to. I would never recommend buying anything from them period.
