I called about a truck for sale and when I arrived to test drive it with sales rep. N. Smith it would not start. They tried to get it started for 30 min and I had to leave to pick up my children from school, so I told them when they get it running to call me. During the weekend they called me and I was out of town then on monday I called to ask about the final price of the vehicle (sticker was not official sticker had questions) so I could purchase it and got a call back from a Bryan Worst who stated the vehicle was not available and was given to a “friend of a friend” of the owner to test drive overnight, thought vehicle was not running? Worst never even offered to show me something else, just hey vehicle is given to a friend bye? Then on Tues. the sales person I was working with called me and asked if I was still interested in the vehicle. I stated yes and was going to come down to purchase it but that I got a call from a B. Worst who stated someone (“friend of a friend”) took it home to test drive it. Smith then said oh ya I see someone with the vehicle now…”ya he is buying it, ya its sold”. Not sure who knew what but its clear my sales person was not informed of this. She did offer to show me something else which I told her absolutly not, no way after this.
I was purchasing this vehicle for my company fleet vehicle and expressed my complaint that they sold the vehicle to “a friend of a friend of the owner” if this is even true. Will a “friend of a friend” buy muliple vehicles for a company? No one gave me a courtesy to put a deposit on it once they got it running. I would not put money on a vehicle that is not running to test drive it, why when they got it running did not pull it to the side for us to test drive it? Why did the sales person call me on tuesday to see if I still wanted to buy it if they were giving it to someone else on Monday?, still no courtesy call that the vehicle was sold, I had to mention this to the sales person. I contacted my sales person early before this vehicle was given to the “friend of a friend” and told her via e-mail to finalize the price and I was ready to make the purchase and then a few hours later comes the call a friend of a friend was taking it overnight and will most likely buy it gobye? That’t it just bye? As a business owner this is one of the most poor excuses for a vehicle selling from underneath you and why was it sold underneath you? Because it did not run when you came to test drive it. I will never buy a vehicle from this place and will express the way I feel on the internet to discourage others from this mistake. Thank You.
