I registered for the Platinum 90 day deal and duinrg that time my wife and I stayed 5 times and I was just awarded today Platinum status until February 2014. The Hyatt website states Platinum will be reached with 5 stays. Did not have to stay 8 times as listed. We live in the Dallas Texas metroplex and the hotels in the Addison area are always very discounted on the weekends if anyone wants to come visit. Hyatt stays were from $53 to $67 per night. Signed up for the Hyatt summer promotion and earned 12000 AAdvantage miles to boot. Now wondering if I should apply for the Hyatt credit card.
I’m the kind of guy who really doesn’t like dealer stickers on cars. Before I even started shopping around I decided I’d take the dealer sticker off the car I would buy. After the great service here (and because the sticker has cool flames on it) I’m keeping my sticker.
Before coming here I literally went to every Kia dealership in Phoenix, Surprise, Tempe, Avondale, and Scottsdale looking for a car in my price range. In every case they didn’t have the quality vehicle I was looking for at the low price I was asking for and they all tried to get me to spend more money and dragged me around the lot making me look at more expensive or lower quality cars. I think I had a pretty average car-shopping experience until I got to Hyatt Car Co.
My experience at Hyatt was incredibly good. First, they gave me honest information on the phone. Then I showed up and told them which car I was looking at and he got my drivers licence and sent me off with the keys for a test drive within five minutes. There was no pressure at all.
I got back to the dealership and told the salesman what I wanted to pay. He took less than 30 seconds with his calculator and told me what it would be with taxes and fees. We agreed and he started on the paperwork. For comparison, I’d spent 15+ minutes at another dealership just trying to get him to go and calculate what the tax would be and he’d spent 15+ minutes jerking me around.
The car I bought was exceptionally clean inside and out and it seemed that all the other cars on the lot were similarly clean. Like I said before, I’d shopped around literally all over town before finding the great deal that I found at Hyatt Car Company.
The inventory and the lot are pretty small, so if you’re looking for something very specific you might not find it here. If you haven’t decided on a type of car yet then this place is definetly worth looking into.
The lot used to be an old gas station, and isn’t in the best part of town, but both the owner, Mike, and his salesman were very friendly.
I understand that they will work to finance you even if your credit isn’t that good.
I know this review sounds like an advertisement, but this was such a breath of fresh air to deal with actual people after having just dealt with a couple dozen sleazy car salesmen.
