My Ford of North Scottsdale reviewI have probably purchased over 30 new vehicles in my life and the 2011 Mustang I purchased here was one of the best transactions of the bunch.
As usual we were shopping a few different make/models and negotiating with different dealers for the best deal. The Mustang we wanted was not what most dealers stock and none of the local dealers had what we wanted. We eventually found a dealer in a neighboring state that had one on order and expected in within a week. Even with the travel expenses, it was a better deal than the other brand/models we shopped locally.
But despite not having the car we wanted locally when we first contacted Ford of North Scottsdale, the internet sales manager (“Moose”) continued to search for one and located one nearby at another dealership that did not have it listed in their on-line inventory.
“Moose” even offered to tell me which dealer had it because he was sure he could swap them for another car and sell it to me cheaper than they would. When he gave me his out-the-door price, I knew he could beat them because I had dealt with the other dealer in the past.
I drove the car home the next day; well actually my wife did. It was a 36th anniversary present for her.
I had dealt with the ford dealer at this location under different names and owners as far back as 1989, and frankly they were not much to write home about, but based on this transaction, I have to rate them very highly.
Note: this site’s rating system does not have an N/A option. So I gave a rating of 3 for financing. They may very well deserve a 5 (or another rating) but I can’t really rate their financing because this was a cash sale. The financing department still does the purchasing paperwork and try to sell additional services such as extended warranties, etc.. I can say there were no high pressure regarding those which was nice.
