My wife and I just bought our third car from Doyle at Red Hoagland. Based on our experiences with the salesman’s and dealer’s no-pressure ease and hassle-free pricing, when it’s time for a new car we immediately think of going back to Red Hoagland.
What surprised us most was the amount of time Doyle was willing to spend with us, even as we test drove car after car. He gave helpful suggestions of different models, helped us find something that would fit our price range, and provided honest and upfront feedback that helped us maximize our budget. His professionalism and friendliness are unparalleled–we never once had to haggle over prices that we’d researched.

I have tried finding a Hyundai sonata for so long i was near giving up.it wasn’t until i went to redhoagland that someone actually listened to what my needs were.. EZRA sat with me and asked questions he gathered all info and actually pulled up the car i wanted …i love my new sonata and i will send all my family and friends to see Ezra at redhoagland Hyundai.

I was just at another hyundai dealership and did not really learn anything about the car that i was looking at. (big difference a salesman makes)
Anyways i decided on a new Sonata, and when we test drove the car i loved it!! I did not tell Gus this only because i did not want him to know this was my next vehicle!!

it took me some time to finally walk into a dealership and ask for help with buying a new car. When i did i was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by Ezra he was very very courteous and listened to my wants and needs he never once made me feel as if my opinion didn’t matter.. I am now the proud owner of a 2012 Santa Fe and i will look forward to trading it in with him in 3yrs..

I think most people generally dislike walking onto a car dealership lot… Well I lucked out this time. I had the pleasure of working with Chris W, he was very low pressure and seemed to “get” what it would take to get me to buy a car. We test drove a few Sonatas but we weren’t sure about moving into a car from a SUV. Chris was nice enough to let us think it over and check in periodically to see if we needed any questions answered. It took a few weeks but we did buy a Sonata and it had a LOT to do with Chris’ attitude.
Love my Elantra. Working with Doyle my salesperson was a pleasure. The manager Justin was great he always made sure I was taken care of. I felt no pressure to buy. I have had my car about 2 months and love it so much my husband is buying a Hyundai from Red Hoagland. The only negative was the girl in parts. I called about some rubber car mats, she said she would call back. Never called back. When I went in person she was not helpful but Doyle and Justin took care of me. I am recomending Red Hoagland to everyone.
Over the last 40 years it’s always taken me months to finally make a decision about buying a new car. During that time I managed to aggravate many a sales person. One dealership, Sorenson Chevrolet, told me they didn’t want me to return because I was wasting the salesman’s time. I ended up buying 2 new cars a month later from another dealership. This time however, it took me 4 years before I finally decided to buy my last new car. During those 4 years, I visited Red Hoagland Hundai in Winter Haven many times. Each time my salesman, Shawn Hays, was not only patient and helpful, but he always spent as much time with me as I wanted. I also met with the owner of the dealership, Justin Hoagland, many times with the same results. Never once did I feel any pressure and I was never subjected to some of the silly sales tactics I’ve encountered at other dealerships. Anyone in the market for a car should stop in to this dealership and be prepared for a very pleasant surprise.
We came to Red Hoagland Hyundai to ‘look’ at Hyundai’s. My wife and i were not really ready to buy, but geez is this salesman GREAT at his job. We did research on this site car dealer check to find out a little about Red Hoagland and saw all good reviews about a specific salesman named Shawn (also my neighbor bought a Santa Fe from Shawn). So when we showed up we requested him.
Man my neighbor was right this guy made it pleasureable…
We moved up our decision process by about 6 months, because my wife was not about to leave without this car and she WANTED to buy it from Shawn.
There is a negitive comment on this site about Shawn, so I asked him about it and he very politely told me “there are two sides to every story”. (and would not bad mouth this person)
I will say this… Shawn and Red Hoagland have changed my mind about the car buying experience
I went to this dealership wondering if the reviews on this and other sites would be accurate. Red Hoagland had many great reviews with a couple bad ones sprinkled in, so i ventured out 30 miles away from my home, avoiding my local big city dealer.
My wife and myself have always bought Honda products in the past, and have had great experiences with Hondas, but I was tired of my local dealer, and since he owns all of the dealerships in my area, I wanted to venture out and “look at” Hyundai, which I have heard many great things about!
After arriving at the dealership we were greeted by a well dressed and well spoken young man named Shawn Hays. He thanked us for coming and asked us if we had been here before.
He then asked us “what information could I get for you today” I thought that was great… not to pushy
We told him we have owned multiple Accords so we would love to see the new Sonata.
He talked to us briefly about where we were from, and come to find out he was from Ohio also… which was great because we started talking about so many other things we almost forgot why we were there:)(nice change)
We got back on track and he asked us some important questions about our current car, to find out what “trim” level we would need.
He then asked us to stand underneath the shade while he picked a car out for us and brought it to us!! My wife hates to walk all over the lot and sweat trying to find a car so we thought that was very thoughtful.
He pulled up the perfect Sonata and then went into THE BEST 20 MINUTE PRESENTATION we have ever seen at a car dealership. (This guy should not be selling cars he should be selling something way more important).
He told us everything.. as well as explaining what each feature did for us and how it would benefit us I thought that it was great that he did not “put down” the competition just showed us the differences.
Great car … Great Dealership… Great salesman

This dealership is no different than all the others: buy now, sign this, pay this, that price is outrageous. They use the same tactics to get you to pay way over a fair price that they can think of as any other dealer. What surprises me is how dishonest they were. Most dealers are dishonest, but this place takes the cake.:mad: Did I mention we didn’t even like the car we were being told to buy, but they didn’t care…. buy now buy now buy now!
I have no idea who you are, however, if you did visit our dealership you would know that we share offices.. I have been in the car business for 7yrs and not once did I ever pressure someone into buying a vehicle nor will I ever..I have not and will never sacrifice my integrity for a dollar…shame on you for this review..

I wanted to thank Shawn Hays our salesman and Justin Hoagland the GM of the dealership for the best car buying experience ever.
We showed up late one weekday with the intention of looking at Santa Fe’s, but the way we were treated at this dealership was different than the many others we went to that day.
We just felt at home!! My husband and I have never felt that way before while purchasing a car!!
We kept them late that night till after closing time, and decided to see a difference number between our trade in and the Santa Fe… man were we relieved when they showed us the difference number and it was under our budget.
Thanks again guys and keep up the good work. We will send everyone within a ears shot to go see Shawn and Jusin at Red Hoagland
I need to tell you how unreal the value of my new 2010 Genesis is compared to the competition. I traded in my BMW at Red Hoagland a little while back for my 2010 Genesis.. I have waited patiently to give my opinon on this car…

I called Red Hoagland Service Department FIVE times last week to set up an appointment for scheduled maintenance (oil change etc.) on my 2007 Azera. Four times no one answered the phone. So I left my name and number on their answering machine and requested a return call. They DID NOT call. The fifth call I made (on Saturday) was answered by just a “Hello”. I had to ask if this was the Hyundai Dealership or did I have the wrong number. Once again I left my name and number (service department not open on Saturday). Still no call. 😡
If Red Hoagland’s Service Department cares as little about my car as they do answering their phone, I’m better off taking my car elsewhere.
I went to 4 other dealerships in the general area and bought my car here as they had a good selection and a nice staff to work with. They are a no pressure dealership and are straight shooters.
Shawn Hays was my salesman, he understood what I needed and wanted out of a car and worked with me to get me a deal that fit my needs. There was never any pressure to buy and I appreciate that very much. If there was ever any questions after the sale Shawn was always right there to answer my questions. It’s hard to imagine having a better sales experience at another dealership. I will always buy cars from Red Hoagland and Shawn Hays and recommend anyone looking for a new or used vehicle to give Shawn Hays and Red Hoagland the opportunity to give you the best car buying experience.

There were no reviews when I posted my negative review of this dealership. Afterwards, I recieved a message from the salesman who had read my review and offered his own perspective on the situation. Now there are suddenly glowing reviews that praise what I will continue to proclaim to be a deceptive dealership and, in particular, an equally deceptive salesperson in the form of Mr. Hayes. Buyers beware. These sudden reviews carry a suspicous stench to them.
I just wanted to start this review by saying that on my long car search i visited MANY dealerships throughout the city, some better than others, and some very terrible experiences!
I stumbled into a dealership on Cypress Gardens Blvd named Red Hoagland Hyundai, tired and beaten down by a whole week of “shady” car salesman and dealerships.
I was delighted and shocked that I met Shawn Hays and he delivered a different experience that i didnt feel was possible in a car purchase… It doesnt have to be like going to the dentist… It was fun!!
He was knowledgeable and very articulate and he gave me the best demonstration on a vehicle i have ever recieved, he was also patient and gave me NO pressure about buying. (which i appreciated because ever other place had try to not let me leave).
Anyways, i decided i did not want to buy a car from anyone else and i found a car that i love. Thank you to the Red Hoagland Family and especially Shawn Hays… I will only purchase a vechicle in the future from this dealership!!
After hearing my family rave about Hoagland and Sean Hayes, I drove by to LOOK, I test drove 6 cars, and completely fell in love with Elantra Touring, far cry from where I started. Sean was helpful and well informed and took all the time I needed to make decision and service after sale was way beyond the norm. Will definitely buy from them again:p
After reading other reviews, this seemed like the ideal place to start looking for a new car. After a first visit, I was intending to write a glowing review. But when it came down to number crunching, these guys became the stereotypical car salesman. This dealership has perfected the art of no-pressure sales but don’t be conned. Once you start talking dollars, their greediness becomes very apparent. I got quite a show. The car salesman played the part of a victim at the mercy of his tyrannical boss who won’t let him go any lower on the numbers. He agreed to honor the numbers he gave me the week before but, as soon as he found out I wouldn’t be financing through the dealership, he reneged only minutes later. From that point on, their lies became an all-out farce. Bring in my trade-in again for reassessment because you threw away the paperwork? The offer from last week was a one-time only deal? Put a deposit on the car because it’s the last one left? Shame on you guys for blatantly lying. Avoid the melodramatic double-dealing here. And to the salesman who professed he’s different than others in his profession because his mother told him to be honest, I have only one thing to say- You’re not.
I recently purchased a 2012 Dodge Caravan from Red Hoagland. I found it to be a pleasureable experiene with no high pressure. My Salesman, Chris Whittington, seemed honest and forthrite. I would recommend Red Hoagland to a friend or family member.
