salesperson was nice but had a pre arranged appt. to inspect/test drive veh. and was apparently locked in service dept. salesperson had no control over pricing and kept walking back and forth to give bad news delivered from someone else on other used veh’s. she seemed nice and reasonable but her manager was not. wasted 40. in gas for pre arranged appt. that was pre confirmed. may give her one more chance or email gen. manager.
All the chris myers dealerships are a joke! I used to work in accounting and price the cars. They would buy one car for two to three thousand from auction then mark it up to ten to eleven thousand. Not only that but i got harassed by a (male) employee and when i reported it they didnt even do anything about it! They have three lawsuits that i knew about since i worked in the back office. Dont waste your money there
These guys use all the normal car salesman tricks. I finally paid full price because negotioation was impossible. The credit manager did not seem to know what the intrest rate was on the loan, when he finally told me it was 7.9% I declined and he lowered the rate to 5.9% . I just recived the contract and the intrest rate is over 10% .
some of their great quotes:
“intrest rate?”
“I dont know who much sales tax is”
“out the door”
“this offer is only good today”
“you have to buy a warranty, its ok, I dont make any money off it”.
The car had one key and the interior was so filthy it had to be detailed, another $275 and 4 hours of my time. SLEEZY SALESMAN, AUCTION CARS, STAY AWAY!!!!
Started looking for a 350z to purchase. Was not able to locate one locally that had the options that I required (2003 – 2006 year model, hardtop and automatic). Expanded my search to neighboring states that were in driving distance for me. This included the Houston area, Dallas area and Mobile Alabama area.
Located what I thought was the perfect vehicle, emailed dealership with my trade-in information. They gave me a price range that they thought my vehicle would be in. I agreed to the price range and made the 4 hour drive to them in the vehicle to make a deal.
Once I got there, the vehicle that I was interested in was not even available for sale due to mechanical problems. Then they offered me 2k less on my trade than was originally offered.
If you are a local buyer, you may have good luck with them but I do not recommend anyone to travel more than 1 hour from them to make a deal as they were quick to make a great trade-in offer only to drop it once I arrived. Then the vehicle I wanted was not available but was willing to offer one that was coming in (2 years older model). Smelled like the old “Bait & Switch” tactic. Needless to say, I left and made the 4 hour drive back and would never buy from them based on this experience.
If they had been honest upfront and not tried to “come on over” and “let’s make the deal” I would have been patient and willing to make a fair trade and spend my 15k cash with them, but they just did not seem to be a very standup dealership in my opinion.
You could not be more correct, I live around the corner and have never been screwed so bad in my life. These guys use all the normal car salesman tricks. I finally paid full price because negotioation was impossible after pulling the normal “how much do you want your payment to be” line, they pushed very high intrest rate without disclosing the Rate. When I complained it was reduced to 5.9% and when i recived the contract the intrest rate is over 10%. These guys are crooks. The only dealer worse on the Eastern Shores is Chris Myers Nissan-Those guys are REAL crooks. Good luck.
